Looking for the cheapest way to run one from Naija and a company email (xxxxx@domainsales.com). These help with credibility and commanding better pricing. |

Seriously, you guys should try and chill. E-fighting/finger-pointing sadly doesn't add money to the pocket. It's possible to disagree yet be civil.
Those who have done the training or have valuable info should please continue with the updates. |

Take it easy guys. No official statement yet, so it's waste of energy dwelling on conflicting stories.
Meanwhile, do they take attendance at the training or close the door against late comers? |

SnowJay92: Why do you think so?
Seems you're much into digital biz? Doing anything Geoscience in Nigeria right now is not a smart move IMO. You're better off using the money learning a skill then blowing the rest on bet9ja. Okay, maybe that was too bad a picture. But yeah, the message is same. It's no secret Engineers are the major players in the oil and gas industry. Some engineers are even trained to handle what used to be core geophysicist roles. It's a bigger pool for new entrants unlike geosciences. I do some online biz. Still learning the ropes. |

Unfortunately, we don't have someone that'll be posting here steady. I see the random PH jobs from time to time on job boards and I hope you guys see them too.
It takes sacrifice for someone to sustain NL threads like these which is why we have to appreciate those who do (like debb.ie).
My small advice is to look for a way to get RSS feeds from a job website on your smartphone. Google how to do it. Feeds help you see every single post as they're posted on the website. You can help us post here when you see any
Then, I think Genesis is recruiting for cooks, laundry men, attendants and other related positions. Visit their office around Genesis junction close to artillery. Ask for their office when you drop at the junction.

They should've fixed a time for the programme (say 9am-1pm daily). Some of us need ninja skills to leave work on those days so we need to plan ahead. |

SnowJay92: Hello everyone, I'm a graduate of petroleum engineering and it's nice to be in here, sad career advice is the first post I'm making here, but it's really important to me that I make the tight choice so please anyone with experience should please help out, I'm currently stuck between making a choice to either go for an MSc. in pipeline engineering or petroleum geoscience, I studied petroleum engineering in my first degree and haven't been able to get a good job since graduation, I know an MSc isn't an express ticket to gainful employment, but I want something to increase my competence and versatility with intent to position myself better for opportunities. I had earlier considered getting the MSc in Occupational health and safety, but I was advised it's not technical enough for an engineer, what do you think? Which of the above programs do you think will give me a better chance, in the energy sector generally not just in oil & gas, considering my first degree background. Thanks. Which did you later pick? |

Lol The 6k was for them to send the name to him first. He didn't state the full price of the name from what I saw. Namepros guys were professional about it. Some people would've rubbed it in that scams are a Nigerian thing. On a side note, I didn't know you're a Naija person. Think we exchanged PMs on NP recently. You're on a streak bro. You guys are becoming something else, please what's the meaning of <=10? Please is either you guys interprete that statement or keep silent. Less than or equal to 10k. Yes I know what that means. You can't emphasize the 'less than' and ignore the 'equal to'. I said 'If it's 10k' which is a conditional statement. My earlier statement still stands - IF you're charging up to 10k then it's on the high side. Even Mikky agrees you should drop things a lil. If you do around 3-5k, na you go tire for work. Like I said before, it's a free world and all follow for the hustle. |

But if it's 10k, then it's expensive. Except there's another service offered here and other than finding and negotiating deals. Well, those who have money to spare and don't want to waste time can patronize him.

Business › Re: What To Do To Make Money Online? by crudedude(m): 10:59pm On Jan 21, 2018 |
Carmal90: Domain auction is actually not the best form to sell your domain, in fact it is the least likely means of getting your name sell higher with exception of few names... In auction, it is best to assume you won't sell your name except you put a reserve on the name.. Personally I feel auction is good if you register the name, i.e you don't buy from fellow domainers and couple with the fact that we are Nigerians so any $ is a plus... I learnt this from one of domain guru here chibense, he said if you want to be expert, you sell even for the price you bought at times, I have sold many domain for $1 domain I registered with over 3k....
Auction in a nutshell is what yoruba call "GBANJO," Hope it helps.. If not ask Where do you run your auctions? |
