Honest question, Squadhelp users please help

What's the benefit of listing a domain on SH if it'll be listed under Basic Plus? The commissions are more than other options (Afternic, Dan, Epik) and the domain is not promoted like if it's listed as Premium. Also you have to point the nameservers to SH and can't list the domain with a lower price on other marketplaces.

What am I missing here?

Let me first establish one fact: Most people who play this game that way HAVE ANOTHER SOURCE OF INCOME.

Last year I bought one domain name for $505, not my first time doing that but not many people here will be able to play that kind of game. But here is the truth, I have another business OFFLINE that can enable play such game.

I will personally appreciate it if we are being more realistic when telling people to reject offers without considering what their financial capacity is in the first place.

Some don't really know the value of the names they hold. Patience is very important if you must succeed in domaining.
Just last month, I still rejected an offer of $1000 for a domain. I insisted on $2499 and I still revoked the offer cos I feel the name is worth more. I currently list it at $3999.

I'm on this table too. It's just that a man sometimes is cash strapped and doesnt have deep pockets to wait for the right offer. Another problem is knowing how to properly value names. How can one research a potential buyer when an offer comes in through Afternic?

No recommendations, data may not be up to date depends on how you search. For a beginner starting from scratch, the books give them a condensed version of what's expected.

Try search queries like 'domaining ebook pdf' 'domain name flipping pdf', you'll see books.
