Women are always like that, they see you a man like a staircase, any step they climb they don't want to come down, they will like to remain their and take another step of climbing the next... If you don't take precautions you will start feeding her whole family pay their house rent etc. You can imagine a girl like that but always want to maintain standard, wearing same clothes with her friends. This type of girl if you don't provide she will go out and do ashawo just to buy designer clothes. Be careful bro, I pray she doesn't break your heart but you are playing with fire. |

A Federal High Court sitting in Lagos on Friday sentenced a retired Customs officer, one Mahmud Hassan, and two others, to 16 years’ imprisonment for conspiracy and unlawful importation of 661 pump-action rifles. They were also convicted for unlawful importation of prohibited firearms, forgery, uttering of forged documents and bribery. Others convicted by the trial judge, Justice Ayokunle Faji, were Oskar Okafor, Donatus Achinulo and Mahmud’s company, Hassan Trades Limited. Achinulo had earlier been discharged and acquitted on the ground of no-case submission on February 7, 2020. Justice Faji, who delivered the verdict after reading the judgement for five hours, however, acquitted and discharged Abdulahi Danjuma of all the charges. The first prosecutor, Julius Ajakaye, and one of the defence counsels, Adamu Ibrahim, passed on while the trial lasted for about four years. While delivering judgment in a charge brought against the convicts on count two of the offence of illegal importation of 661 pump-action rifles into the country, sentenced them to eight years imprisonment each on the said count. On count one (conspiracy), Justice Faji found the first, second and third defendants guilty and also sentenced them to eight years’ imprisonment each. The judge also ordered the forfeiture of the properties of the convicts to the Federal Government of Nigeria as provided for by the law under which they were charged, while also ordering that the company, Hassan Trading Limited, used as a vehicle to smuggle, be closed and its assets forfeited to the Federal Government. Justice Faji, however, discharged and acquitted the fifth defendant. He explained that the offence committed by the convicts touched on the security of the country, adding that though the relevant provisions of the law for the offence which they were charged and convicted, prescribed life imprisonment, but said the court, however, had discretion. The trial judge said he would refrain from giving a maximum punishment but added that the convicts must be made an example to serve as deterrent to other would-be criminals. The convicts had been arraigned before the court for allegedly importing 661 pump-action rifles into the country. The convicts, who were arraigned before Justice Faji, were Mahmud Hassan, Oscar Okafor, Donatus Achinulo, and Salihu Danjuma, while the fifth defendant, Matthew Okoye, was said to be at large. According to the prosecution, they also forged a bill of lading issued in Istanbul on January 9, 2017, falsely claiming that it was issued at Shanghai, China. They were said to have attempted to evade the payment of customs duty by filling “steel door” as the content of the container instead of rifles. The prosecution also alleged that the first convict, Hassan, corruptly gave N1m to government officials at the Apapa Port to prevent the search by Customs official. But the accused had pleaded not guilty when the charges were read to them The judge said the sentence shall run concurrently. https://punchng.com/ex-customs-officer-two-others-jailed-16-years-for-smuggling-rifles/ |

I once scammed the scammer! There is this my female inlaw that is so gullible, she married a son of one former minister that is now broke and she's using her husband's surname, so the scammers thought there was still money in the family, The scammer she never knew or meet before just called her and introduced himself as a PA of FCT Minister, they got talking, he told her everything àbout herself bla bla and everything is correct, he told her that he has a very good contract for her and her husband who's an architect, that the contract is worth N500million in FCDA, and they need an architect with a good name (as in son to a former minister) to execute the contract, the woman believed them ooo even the husband too... They talk for almost 2 weeks... Made her to do photocopies, look for company send the company paper through mail... They latter ask for N500k to settle somethings in FCDA so that the contract will be released. They (my inlaw) were actually looking for the money oo.... That was when when they contacted me, I have to take hours talking to her and her husband to convince them that it's a scam. So I said let's scam the scammer since he so much believe 500k is coming out of the deal. I lead them on how to scam the scammer, I told them how to be taking recharge card from the mugu telling him that they will use the airtime to convince someone to give them the money and also to make some contacts to sell some property to raise the 500k. We collected 4500 Mtn recharge card from the mugu 1500*3 When the time for sending the money came I sent to the mugu's phone fake alert of 500k the mugu was happy even went to the bank, when he discovered it's fake alert he switched off the number never to on it again. Well for me I never got scammed because since when I was much younger I always believe there is no free lunch anywhere, so anything that is too good to be true is a scam.... |

I tried to remove it by editing my profile but the massage is not there on the edit handle! For the record of it I didn't put it there and there is no option to remove it. That is not my belief and it shouldn't be on my Signature |
