PoliticsRe: More Troops, Equipment Deployed To Sambisa – Army Chief by CrypticSegun(m): 5:13pm On Apr 29, 2015
I fault this logic..... Why do you have to tell the enemy you are coming? Where is that element of surprise?

By the time the armed forces reach there, BokO Haram's major commanders would have gone!!

We at it again, religious fanatics and their 'divine interpretation' of anything they find strange...... grin grin grin grin

Man has set foot on the moon so look for other signs....
RomanceRe: I Helped Her Evade Rape, She Paid Me Back By Stealing. by CrypticSegun(m): 5:36pm On Mar 12, 2015
@ OP, I don't think you should stop helping as there will be girls that will be in genuine need of rescue.....

It might or might not have been staged.... Imagine if your boss hadn't ranged you, they probably would have left without your valuables.... I think they are opportunist with no conscience....

I will always help a woman in perilous situation but will be cautious.... Maybe going to her room with a security or hotel staff is being cautious!!

We should say no to rape and at the same time, women shouldn't put themselves in precarious situations.... Until Nigeria's laws are strong enough to investigate and persecute rapists, we should always advice our female relatives to be careful....

Some Nigerians and their over "judgmentalness"

So person no fit go club sake of say him come new for UK? Make him dey inside house dey bored because him wan form good student, mschew.

I hope he is found in good condition.
It's not ''over judgmentalness'' , it's being cautious.... When you in a new country, you want to observe and study it before exploring it..... It's a different culture, different climate, etc that takes a while getting used to...

I hope he is found safe and well...
PoliticsRe: Obasanjo: “What I Found Out About Boko Haram” by CrypticSegun(m): 9:46pm On Feb 16, 2015
Obasanjo is an attention seeker and the media will be better off without giving him constant attention.... He talks like he never had the chance to put things correctly......

He should emulate past leaders by keeping quiet..... Soon, with all these constant rubbish he is spilling, he will be irrelevant.....

FamilyRe: The Cry Of A Heartbroken Nigerian Husband In Houston whose wife cheated by CrypticSegun(m): 11:38am On Feb 09, 2015
I cannot comprehend why this video was made!!! It portrays the husband as weak, foolish and insecure....

I'm sure he is hurt and wants to relieve the pain but coming on Youtube to narrate his ordeal when kids are involved shows how inconsiderate he is... He ought to have spoken to a trusted friend ( pastor, father figure etc) about it instead of coming online....

A cheating spouse is disheartening but no one should ever blame themselves for a cheating partner's actions. Cheaters are cowards!! She should just have been frank with her husband, end the relationship and seek a divorce....

In life, you don't always get everything....... We don't all come in full packages.... If you want a caring and nice husband, he might not come with the bed package... It's then up to you to either go ahead with him or marry someone good at sex but not in other departments...

There are usually trade-offs , hence why we have to go into any relationship with that mindset.... My girlfriend may not be as attractive but might be very clever.... If I rate her cleverness more than her attractiveness in the long term, then I will marry her....It's not that when I marry her, that's when I will be having a second thought on how unattractive she is.....

Sexual performances in men can be due to a lot of factors and working with your husband to make him better is always ideal......It's not enough to quit your marriage because of it.....

If I notice an unusual growth on my wife's body and it's due to some rare genetic conditions which is nauseating to me, is that enough reason for me to cheat on her ? ( I'm asking women here that are blaming the man's sexual prowess on the failed relationship)
TravelRe: "We Can't Complete Lagos Light Rail Project" - Fashola by CrypticSegun(m): 11:12pm On Jan 29, 2015
eaglechild:
Fashola should not bother, when Buhari wins he will cancel it like that of Jakande's.
Where did you pull that stat from.

What percentage of Lagos state is under state government employ?
Well, I based that stat on the assumption that it has the highest population in the country, hence more teachers, doctors, etc to run public schools and hospitals...

I might be wrong...

rozayx5:
with all his IGR and all the allocation what does Lagos look like?
its all propaganda, an average lagosian spends big time on water, my friend had to pack out of a neighborhood in lekki, 3 months into his rent after bad roads spoilt a million naira part in his 2014 kia

this is the real lagos below
forget all the noise, common dustbins on roads fashola cannot buy, every street in Uyo has waste bins that are picked up every morning by innossons automated waste disposal trucks
Akwa Ibom gets over 13% of oil derivation from the FG because it is an oil producing state with a smaller population than Lagos... I think it's quite unfair to compare the two states because their method of income generation and expenditures are different....

Yes, Lagos generates the highest IGR in the country but also has the highest number of civil servants on its payroll... The large population of Lagos will also put more strains on infrastructure than that of Akwa Ibom....

Oga Rozay, Pls be objective in your criticism and also put things into perspective....
TravelRe: "We Can't Complete Lagos Light Rail Project" - Fashola by CrypticSegun(m): 10:40pm On Jan 29, 2015
While I'm a great supporter of Fashola, I think he made a miscalculation by starting what he can't complete.... Planning requires starting something with the assurance that it would be completed with projected funds somewhere....

He can't blame the Federal government because there was no agreement between him and the FG to start it in the first place, so his excuses are grossly unfair!!

The money used to start this project could have gone elsewhere like improving hospitals or even building more power plants.....

I still like him, he did his best and I hope his successor continues from where he left... I will vote APC and I hope Ambode wins...
