PSG eyeing coutouis. These qatari fucckers would be worse than real madrid. Atleast real madrid can be deterred by the price. |
Only on nairaland will someone bearing the name of ''bola'' speak for the niger-delta. Even an emeka from the niger-delta is more believable. |
Damn. |
Look at them. You would think the naijerian army wiped every igbo man off from igboland, or maybe that is what these cowards were hoping for. They are already here drunk on their own cowardice masqueraded as sophistication. yeye people. |
A failure of governance. I have never seen worse. |
Goke7:The interests of one naijeria and notheren hegemony. The interests that ganduje wants to protect by meeting with igbo leaders. You may do your own politics of emotion given the fact that the SW is just a tool to an end. They on the other hand just wants to maintain the status quo. And besides they don't like the SW either. They have showed that as a fact many times. |
drefe2real:First of all, maybe you need to tell me how much the North-east contributes to the fedeeration account, you mindless bigot. The South east contribute more oil to the federation than the entire north, and yet the north has the the NEDC. The South-east was supposed to get the SEDC since the 60s but failure of governance made sure it failed. Besides, i thought you claim want a developed one naijeria? If you think there is any other region as dynamic to faciltate a developed Nigeria than the south-east then you are seriously deluded or high on hate. A fully developed aba and Nnewi has the capacity to provide serious revenue to the country, but ofcurse, hate will never allow you see it. The oil in the east in abia and Imo which are part of the current niger-delta however how small, if the revenues are left fully to the east is already more than enough to facilitate the necessary development. And then you can keep your SEDC. And where did i say the end-game is not biafra? Are you incapable of reading and comprehending? Don't quote me if you can't read. You want a developed one naijeria and you think that can happen without a fully developed igboland?- keep dreaming. |
Goke7:They don't like us either. Dosen't mean our interests can not be aligned. I thought yorubas claim to be politically sophisticated? When did politics become about who you like? |
Alcatraz005:That would depend on how igbo leaders take advantage, Unless you are part of the NORTHERN elite with a voracious desire for one naijeria like ganduje has shown, you have no idea of what you are saying. |
demelza:I can't get heads or tails about what you have in mind. can you write in proper english.? Ojukwu was a brave man that got a national burial, so what exactly was wrong with him? |
Tyche:You are from 042 and you typed such nonsense that has no basis in reality? I only expect such nonsense from afonjas hoping to get an advantage that will never come. Is it the north that wants to be on top in every political regime that will play politics of emotion? Ganduje is currently meeting with eastern leaders and you are yapping rubbish. |
Tayonic:No. I just gave you fact. That you had to result to insult shows who is pained by the truth. |
shukuokukobambi:whatever. |
Ohanaeze Ndi-igbo and the governors should begin to negotiate the SEDC bill now with these northern rulers. This is the absolute best time. The greatest fear of the northern elite is losing one naijeria and it is time for the igbo nation to use it to get something significant. |
shukuokukobambi:I couldn't give two shitt about yoruba if not for the two yoruba doofuses that quoted me and infused the SW into the equation. You can keep your lagos the way it is because special status bill will never ever come. Since you guys don't want it anyway, i don't see the problem. And yes, the SEDC is a very important priority. WE will take it if it comes. |
Cjrane2:No, It is time we begin to look after ourselves. We will always win in the game of one naijeria anyway by leveraging all the opportunities anywhere they can be found in Nigeria. Anybody that wants restructuring should go and fight for it without igbo inclusion. |
Tyche:Absolute Rubbish. I know as a yoruba that you are, you wish that were the case so as to garner undue advantage but you are wrong. The biafran agitation if handled properly is a means to an end. Biafra is the best option but it deosen't mean we can't get something close to it. The SW is not the north. The SE does not need the SW for anything. Don't get it twisted. So you can get all emotional, it doesn't affect us. The north on the other hand are not that emotional. They just want anything that will ensure one naijeria, with them at the head. They worked with the SW in bringing buhari to power, and they can work with any other bloc in perpetuating themselves there. And that is what the Eastern leaders should be negotiating using one naijeria as a bargaining tool. Biafran agitation does not change anything as long as permanent interests are aligned. |
Tayonic:Nobody is calling the southwest for support, because you can't even help yourselves. The southwest lobbied for special status for lagos and it failed woefully thanks to the north. So stop trying to attach yourself to the north. The north and the SW have different political agenda and different aspirations. |
ElsonMorali:Nigeria is not a sane country. That the country is skewed in their favour thanks to population does not change the facts. |
Alcatraz005:I am not talking to yoruba people. You are also victims in this whole game. Neither can you decide shitt. My aim is for the northern elites. Their support is all we need. |
ElsonMorali:The average northerner does not dictate policy or benefit from Nigeria. The elite do. And they will do anything to preserve their advatage. |
angelanto8:What do you expect from bigots and tribalists? |
Eastern leaders need to ensure that they take advantage of the upheaval if they are smart. We may not get biafra but we can something out of all these chaos by taking the following steps: 1)Calm the east down and stop all the acts of civil disobedience against the state of Nigeria. 2)Get the soldiers out of the streets through deliberate consultations. 3) Meet with Nnamdi Kanu and get him to lay low for now. 4) Meet with the political leaders of the north including the senators, governors and the traditional rulers and then promise a sign document that the east will never pursue the restructuring of Nigeria or even Secession again, as long as the following conditions are met. a) A fully funded South-east developmental commission that will operate forever should be signed into Law, which is a non-negotiable condition . b)An agreement with miyetti Allah to advise their members to cease all violence in any part of the south-east in exchange for continued peace and harmony. c) An Exile for Nnamdi Kanu. The north being who they are will grab it with both hands. And that will seal the fate of the south forever, but atleast the east will have gotten something for their troubles. We need to fight for our interests because it seems only the igbo is dis-satisfied with Nigeria. We can't keep shedding our blood for other ungrateful people to reap the fruits of our labour. We need to be smart. |
Holyman3:I have problem with your post. Igbos lives are what is being lost. And for what? So ingrates can reap the fruits of our labour and churn it up to their unprofitable summits they have held? Right now, it seems igbos are the only ones unsatisfied with Nigeria. Everybody else is living the good life. The rational course of action is to mellow low, forget biafran agitation for now and just flow with the tide as hard as it is. We benefit from Nigeria anyway. It may not be the glorious future we can shape in biafra but it is something. The smart thing would be to flow with the tide and enter consultation with the top-most political leaders of the north and promise them that the south-east will never support restructuring again or upset the apple cart as long as the South-east developmental commission is created and Fully funded. Believe me, they will grab it with both hands. That would be pure machiavellian politics that would not only save igbo lives but would secure our interests. Any other southern region that then wants restructuring ever again should be brave enough to fight for it themselves. |
Afam4eva:Don't mind these clowns. Most of these people on nairaland are sick bigoted individuals. Go to the mainstream media, most people with a brain are condemning the army for stoking violence by invading a civilian with armoured personnel carriers. A civilian with that much support capable of stoking unrest. A lawyer of constitutional law even called it terrorism against the citizen. Nairaland is filled with mad people. |
