We have voted for all the winning president since 1999, even when your people were in the opposition. who are all these ignoramuse on nairaland making all these false claim.? Did Nigerian politics start in 2015? Buhari will gone by 2023 at most. I hope you have enough political capital to continue after he has gone. We will see how much politics you know then. |

Have you forgotten how much he has spent in one season.? He has blown 150 million pounds on defenders alone. I am not even talking about attackers. That is unprecedented spending in a single season. Definitely, he is going to have unprecedented results. Next season, the rest of the EPL will spend to catch up. |

Good. Thank you for doing atiku's job for him by giving him a bloc vote in the east that he has not even won yet. If he wins tomorrow which is a possibility, I hope you don't start crying that igbos are dominant in his government. You already called him atikuchukwu. |

booblacain: This way you are talking is exactly how the mistake was made on Buhari. Some people were asking how he was going to achieve all the things he was promising, his supporters countered them by asking them if they askedd GEJ that question before he was elected, in other words, they felt the qustion was not necessary. At least you can see were those unaswered questions led us. Now, you are making the same mistake. Tribalism or no tribalism, these kind of questions should be asked and answers should be demanded. We have to stop being sentimntal on issues like these. But the thing is only Buhari or Atiku can win in 2019. If you have issues with both which I do too, it does not change that fact. People support Atiku because he is the only VIABLE option to buhari and is more exposed and more liberal than Buhari. |

You don't want the North to suffer pollution and environmental degradation too? It seems you like arguing in circles. Bringing me back to arguments I have already addressed. How many billions and billions possibly even trillion that would need to be spent to make the north suffer pollution? How is this different from Dasuki? Both of them are mindless waste of Nigerian scarce resources. |

It is Nigerian money.
As long as our constitution states that we are one united country, that's what we are.
Because it is the entire Nigeria that suffers the effect of pollution and environmental degradation. Itshekiri man indeed. What a scammer. |

GavelSlam: Every government supports the exploration programmes within its borders. Don't be bitter.
A time would come when the results would be conclusive. If it takes this long and this much funds to even discover the presence of oil which is the easy part and which has not yielded any positive result, how long would it take to determine how viable? That would take atleast another 200 years of wasted billions. If shell, Chevron, and Mobil who are looking for alternatives to the ND are not interested in the north. That should tell you something. |

GavelSlam: Oh but NPDC exists today.
Are you against their exploration in the ND? We are talking about the north here. The ND have been very fruitful. If the northern venture was viable, which would have been evident by now, then yes. It is not. The wastage is pointless. |

If the only thing the FG is giving is approval, I don't think anybody would care.
Billions and billions of Niger-delta money is been wasted on fruitless venture and a so-called itshekiri man on nairaland does not care. |

GavelSlam: Stop being ignorant.
No oil company can get into a terrritoy without government approval. Whether 100 years ago or today. In saying that, NPDC has been involved in exploration in Nigeria today and I don't hear any complaints. It only is so when they go into unproven basins.
The NPDC did not exist when Nigeria discovered oil and became rich in the 60s. Private investors discovered oil in Nigeria with their own money. |

mrvitalis: Lol even the then president said they almost gave up before a young geologist came did the magic
It's every evident north and northern south east (Enugu and ebonyi )have oil
But is it in commercial quantity ? That's a different question The east has oil. You don't need magic to know that. Its proximity to Africa's largest oil reserves is already enough to know that. The commercial viability is what takes time to ascertain, because you need to determine the scope of the reservoirs, and if it is even financially feasible at all to explore due to the terrain. |
