When you compare this adesina with the current audu ogbeh, you don't need a prophet to tell you that Nigeria has undegone a massive downgrade in government. It plays out in virtually every ministerial portfolio comparism. The likes of Ngozi okonjo iweala, Aganga and adeshina blow their current replacement out of the water completely. The only place i have seen an uncharatersistic upgrade in the buhari administration is Ibe kachukwu. Ibe kachukwu is the most functional minister in the buhari cabinet. |
Aigbofa:OBJ didn't do shitt. He just talked about it. Afonja. |
In sane climes with functional and non-bigoted presidents, such powers belong to the president, like we see in America. But here in Nigeria we have something else as president, so the senate has stepped up which is very good. It is unfortunate that if Nigeria ever gets a decent president maybe in the next 200 years, his power would have been diluted down completely, thanks to the current buffoon we have in aso-rock. |
sarrki:You are pacesetters in afonjaism. I can't find any single good thing afonjas are pacesetters in. yeye people. |
When did unarmed aircraft trainers become fighter jets? Ignorant citizens. Some people are already woshipping buhari . |
darknetcom:Tinubu and your afonja warlords may be the ones on the receiving side of things. Giving the playing political scenario out there and the political re-allignment , By the time buhari finishes incapacitating any damn yoruba leader with an opinion by 2019, any afonja revolt will be met with a bullet from your army. And the best thing is that, the rest of the country will look the other way, just like we did when MKO , kudirat abiola and other afonja idiotts got their recompense. |
SillyMods:Pained afonja. Okorocha has kicked your jagaban to the curb of irrelevance ![]() |
Okorocha the chairman of APC southern branch. You have the support of ndi-igbos, thanks to afonja foolishness. We are with you in your APC adventure as long as he promotes igbo interests like he is gradually beginning to do. |
QuotaSystem:Which other southerner apart from president jonathan has a single shop named after him in the north in recent times? Which southerner in recent times have as much as widepread support in the north as okorocha?I really don't know what you are talking about here. Many if not most of the almajiris(under-aged and over-aged) , that would vote are beneficiaries of his philantropism. On one hand, you say okorocha is a tool for northern interest and yet you say they won't vote for him because he is an igbo man or whatever. Unless, the north wants to rule forever, power will have to come south sometime, and there is no other politician in the south assured of northern support like okorocha. Atleast, they trust him to further their interests. I may not agree with that but that is the truth. He may a northern tool, but that is not the point in question. It even helps him in the whole backward political equation. |
QuotaSystem:Is it the same okorocha that has streets named after him in the north? Or the same one with complete access to any emir palace in the north.? Is it the same okorocha that is in most northern inner cycles? Why do you think many of his people don't trust him?. You are pulling facts from thin air or from your own personal anti-igbo biasis which is irrelevant as far as i am concerned. It is not grounded in reality. The north is making concessions to the east in real life. Your leaders are trooping to the east in anticipation of a political shift. Okorocha is currently the most influential southern APC leader. If the north does not vote him, then who will they vote for in the south? Jagaban? ![]() |
SillyMods:Go and claim him na. The same OBJ that decimated your jagaban and many of your regional party leaders and seized the allocations of lagos state. |
QuotaSystem:But the north has said far more than that and they have always won elections. The likes of ciroma, sanusi, and the likes have always been arrogantly pro-north and they are still power brokers And btw, you don't speak for the north even if you hail from there. Okorocha will win the presidency today if he contests against any individual in the south. Infact there are very few northern candidates who can win him. |
SillyMods:That is a lie. OBJ was not a yoruba consensus candidate, and he knew it. Your leaders didn't support him and he dealt with them all including tinubu. OBJ your new-found son relied on the east and the north to win. His government was even dominated by igbos and the north. |
It is certain Okorocha is the most influential southern stakeholder in the APC. Maybe, it is time Ndi-igbo starts giving him the benefit of the doubt, and transfer some of our political support bloc to him. Who knows how much he can accomplish with the whole igbo race behind him? |
. |
SillyMods:Why not include the number 3 and number 4 according to afonja.? |
SillyMods:Values of industry, meritocracy and hardwork. That is why an igbo nation will never be poor. Our people are our greatest assets. Ebonyi state is set to pay a 13 month salary. How many states can even pay a 12 month salary? |
bigass:So you are a tribalist, talking about igbo tribalism. Don't bother replying to my earlier post. I don't value your opinion. |
bigass:But it is the truth. If you hate the truth, you can not move forward. I will not apologize for igbo exceptionalism. The hausa-fulani that controls your presidency for eons, publicly declare their dominance on the rest on the rest of the country time and time again, and yet you have not stopped them from winning the presidency. Infact, they will win again in 2019. |
omonnakoda:You underestimate the intelligence of people to cut through your afonja bullshitt. Even with all your hob-nobbing, the north is cutting the wings of your leaders and turning its attention to the more politically stable, politically honest east. We will get the presidency honourably. With or without afonja support. |
omonnakoda:Yes, we are more important to the economy of this country than virtually any other single ethnic group. Comparing edos, urhobos and whoever to the value the igbo nation offers Nigeria is just laughable. |
SillyMods:Yes, we deride him for our own reasons but he would win the presidency with our votes. There is no blackmailing being done here. Okorocha will defeat any yoruba man in any national election. We are more politically stable than yorubas will ever be . You guys can't be trusted. Your chamelionic nature is what is causing the north to have problems with your people. |
The recent visit of igbo traditional chiefs to aso-rock also points to the ensuing seismic political shift to the old order of the first republic. |
SillyMods:Orji Uzor kalu is currently hobnobbing with buhari. Okorocha is closer to the north than 10 jagabans combined. By the time, buhari finishes his tenure and the coast becomes clear, an igbo president will emerge either by hook or crook supported by the SE/SS and the north. Okorocha has the greatest chance of becoming president than any yoruba man alive. That is the bitter truth. ![]() |
frugal:Tinubu can never smell aso-rock. If that is your best aspirant from the SW, then you don't have anybody. Besides, a yoruba vice presidential ticket is politically untenable right now. Others want to have their turn. You are not the only the ones in the country. |
SillyMods:Yorubas can never become president for any forseeable future. Is it the north that is currently decimating jagaban or the rest of the south that distrusts you that will vote for you. You better be realistic and vote for an igbo president. And given the way, some igbos are moving enmass to the APC and taking over the southern vacuum tinubu has inevitably left, that may be the only option available for the SW. Biafra is not your concern. |
IYANGBALI:Orji Uzor kalu is not an igbo elite, sorry. He cannot decide for anybody in his village |
IYANGBALI:When did a criminal like orji uzor kalu begin to have a say on what happens in igboland? We are not yorubas, we don't worship criminals in the name of ethnic political godfathers as you can see from the replies he got. He has no say in his own village. |
. |
asorocker:That is why you have third world countries and first world countries. Without voters like the sai buhari crew spread all over africa voting in president with a sub-zero IQs like buhari, jammeh and co,just because they happen to spout one or two statements of backward extreme nationalism and anti-globalism or anti-western hocus-pocus, there would be no more third world to enrich the first world. |
With this woman as president and with her global credibility, the massive influx of solid investments unprecedented in Nigeria's history may even be enough to catapult the country into a mid-level power like south korea or thailand. She is the closest person to hilary rodham clinton in Nigeria. A lot of controversies but still trusted |
