In Lagos, the governors are competing over who can tax the poor the most and boost the IGR. As if taxation in the midst of growing poverty is progress. |
BabaO2:Backward mindset. This is the same logic your politicians in Abuja use. Poor people like you don't deserve certain privileges. |
A very different breed from the rest of the Yoruba governors. A sign that he did not attend the tinubu school of elitism. The majority of your people are poor. I don't see why the policies of state government would be about removing the poor from sight and some people will call it progress. A good government should help the poor mostly. If the rich don't like, they can fucckk off. In Lagos, the reverse is the case. Governors from the tinubu school of backward economics and capitalism. |
igbesachick:Hatred has nothing on you when you are the only ones supplying a critical material. Most of the major companies that use the rare earth metals heavily have manufacturing facilities in China. So they are not selling it cheap for nothing. They even threatened to use the metals as a bargaining chip during the trade war with America. |
BTW, this BBnaija has changed lives o. Remove poverty from some people like mercy and Alex, made many overnight celebrities, and even gave them life partners. By next edition, na the whole Nigeria go apply. |
Khafi must be so delicious to get this calabar boy to propose. |
oyatz:Is buhari the first president we have had? Didn't you people hold pdp presidents to ransom? Why should we let buhari off the hook? Besides, the direction of the president determines the direction of the country. If buhari makes it a policy to only patronise Nigerian hospitals, other governors would emulate. It is just like the rice policy. The federal government shut the borders. The states have no choice but to promote indigenous rice production. Your president should set an example. |
FulaniPornStar:Congo has a lot of rare earth metals like cobalt used in making every kind of phone on earth. But unlike China, it is been exploited for free while the people suffer in penury. |
texazzpete:Why? Your elected president travels abroad for common headache. Why would he remain in Nigeria when he could have possible internal injuries? |
BTW, I have not heard any Yoruba fool on nairaland insulting the ethnic group and threatening heaven and hell on those assaulters. I am Sure if it was igbos that did this, these cone headed fools no go let us hear word. Cowards. |
leo2020:Why did your president released them only after an ultimatum has been given? And who told you Trump is the only issue in Congress? Your president is the slave here. That is why he jumped when America said jump. He couldn't do the right thing on his own. |
She is certainly not a virgin anymore. |
A good student should be able to know by heart that the square root of 81 is 9. The cube root of 27 is 3 Draw the special angles triangle by heart e. t. c. That was how jamb was in the old days. And only the best could pass well. But now due to a decline in standards, jamb has provided basic calculators to help the indomie generation. |
I have taught a number of students over the years . I can tell you for a fact that students are now duller. The exams are now easier. You also have the use of calculators compared to those days. Past questions are also now everywhere. Compare Jamb mathematics or physics 1999 with 2019. The difference is clear. |

slowice:Are you just knowing rossikke.? He is a megalomaniac. He is now doing it for Buhari. |
Racoon:Is he an office holder? Why should he be subject to other people's failures? |
China is very peculiar case. You just don't know what to say. The communist socialist government have been phenomenal. The level of development the communist party has done in China on every sector in the past 30 years have been astounding. Maximisation of everything. Even the western civilisation is stunned. You just can't argue with the results. Any party that can grow the country so quickly from utter poverty, to the greatest industrial power in the world deserves credit. That is all I can say. |
lagdmark:The US does not need the intervention of Trump. Congress can deal with any country they want. They can impeach Trump, so obviously the power is with Congress and not Trump. |
ddippset:See the nonsense wey you type. Even your buhari and his aides was revelling in him being a strong minded dictator. In fact, bashir Ahmed bragged that most Buhari supporters voted for the general rather than the civilian. Unfortunately for them, he countered a super power. |
The US should not forget to deal with femi adeshina. Useless attack dog that does not know his mate. |
See as buhari just exposed himself as a spineless hopeless puppet. Old baba don't want him and his family to be blacklisted from western civilisation. Forming strong man and yet it took ultimatum from ordinary four Yankee senators to get you moving. I dey shame for buhari. |
In Other countries, their armies face war abroad. In Nigeria, the army face war at home. What a sad state of affairs. |
GrayBeard:No. Most of what happens on earth is a consequence of man's free will. God has to maintain a balance that is why he already plans major corrective actions in place at specific points in human history. Jesus had to come because Adam would sin of his own free will. God Already planned to deliver the Israelites from slavery in Egypt because their grand father Jacob would go there in the first place on his own free will. And on and on and on. God knows what man will do and has the fore knowledge to plan corrective actions. And it is not everytime God does corrective actions during the course of human history. Most times, man lives with the consequences. Global warming is a consequence that God is not going to interfere with until Christ comes. Preventing man from taking those harmful life choices would have been against the free will he gave us. |
GrayBeard:The idea of urgently does not really explain it well. Urgently in this term means God needs to intervene at this point in the grand scheme of things. He already knows he will do this thing at a point in time and then he does it. It doesn't mean it is an unplanned event. For example, God already told Adam about the coming of Jesus thousands of years before he came. God told Abraham that his descendants would needed to be delivered from slavery in Egypt with a strong hand, hundreds of years before it happened. In fact, At that point in time when God was telling Abraham that prophecy, his wife Sarah was barren at over 80 years old. |
tstx:You have a freewill to a point at which God's sovereignty overrides it. Which means, God allows you to do whatever you want until when he needs something done urgently. And then your free will become irrelevant. Fortunately or unfortunately, God does not exercise his sovereignty most of the time. He lets you do you 99% of the time. |
tstx:He answered it na. God can choose to do whatever he wants with whoever he wants. And that includes Mary. |
kenfarm:Abeg, comot here. He was released on order of the United States Congress. All your shouts meant nothing to buhari |
Imagine leaving a place of prayer to go and collect dicckk. Many people are in serious spiritual bondage. na cloth just make dem look normal. |
Cool. |
And yet one trillion Zimbabwean dollars cannot buy one bread. |
