FYI, in Kenya the executive, the legislature and judiciary are separate entities in the government and the presidency cannot direct the Central Bank on its operations.

Kenya might have a tribal history but we are surely facing it out. We are going to the polls in two weeks time and history is being made even right now. No incumbent president in Africa has ever chosen and supported his greatest rival and official leader of the opposition, from a different party, as his successor. That is the new Kenya.
