Guyman02: I think you are new to international diplomacy and politics and you get your information from CNN, Al-Jazeera and BBC I talk directly to people on the ground outside the mainstream media. Now you can start balancing your views by visiting the Russian English websites such as www.rt.com to get the other side of the story, then come back and make your informed opinion without bias. I follow RT on YouTube. There is nothing they have said that counters what I have said. They may invade. They will not invade if the US gives assurances. They will invade if the US crosses their red line in Ukraine. So what else is new? |

jaxxy: Then Putin will be a bigger looser. because the US will not fold it’s arms.
Russia’s only option or rather best option is de escalation talks.
The Us is prepared for anything Russia brings. Russia will not shift. They cannot. Powerful Enemy forces are at the border. They are almost surrounded. It's existential to them. The realistic thing is for NATO to forget Eastern Europe and shift back. Russia is ready to negotiate a pact with NATO that they will not extend to Eastern Europe any further. NATO said No. The ball is in their court. |

Guyman02: USA will do no such thing, go and read about Georgia invasion of South Ossetia and Abkhazia and how America encouraged them, when Russia intervened America abandoned Georgia and they lost. Donbass is still outside the control of Ukraine and America only supported the protests at Maidan led by Victoria Nuland and Late John McCain which led to the collapse of the Govt of Victor Yanukovych. The Russians annexed Crimea subsequently and America did nothing except supply weapons but with no booths on the ground and they don't have plans to have booths on the ground because Russia is not Iraq or Syria or Afghanistan where they even failed That was then, this is now. The US reputation to defend its European allies is at stake. The Russian annexation of Crimea was what broke the camel's back. The US have sworn that they will never allow that again. If Russia invades Ukraine, not even the US president will be able to call back the forces that will be unleashed. |

The threat of a Nuclear war is real.
If China invades Taiwan, or Russia invades Ukraine, the world is fucckked.
Forces that cannot be controlled will start acting immediately.
And the sad thing is that both Russia and China have drawn their red lines that will neccessitate an invasion 100%.
But those red lines will be violated sooner or later, which means WAR. |

jaxxy: Russia cannot afford to attack Ukraine. It will be a big mistake. It better to find a negotiating power and work from there.
Any attack on Ukraine will spell disaster for Putin. It is almost guaranteed. Russia should witting de escalation talks.
Why is Ukraine joining NATO cos of Russia’s threats. If not it wouldn’t be necessary.
Russia is in a tight corner bt de escalation is the only solution. If the US installs missiles, Russia will invade Ukraine 100%. The Russian federation equates NATO potential activities in Ukraine as an existential threat. It makes no difference to them either way. They will invade. Their Military exist for one purpose only. To deter NATO. |

Guyman02: You are the one spewing trash, you are referring to 2 nuclear armed countries that won't fight each other. They will continue to engage in proxy wars to avoid getting MAD (Mutually Assured Destruction) If Russia invades Ukraine, the US will be forced to act militarily. They have no choice. It's certain. Russia also has no choice but to invade Ukraine if NATO absorbs Ukraine or installs missiles there. The ball is in NATO court. They need to shift back their sphere of influence and descalate, because Russia is set on a path of no return and will fight. |

And they still want more. |

Russia has moved Ballistic missiles to the Pacific ocean to deter Japan from invading its kuril islands that it got from them as WW2 spoils.
They are also trying to exert a sphere of influence in Eastern Europe and warning NATO that any alliance with Ukraine would immediately cause Russia to invade Ukraine.

Teeclassicroyal: By your perception. You might need to be enlightened that many developed countries consider Nigerian degrees to be thrash as well. So, it's all a circular world after all. No country in the developed world will consider the top universities in Nigeria as trash. Maybe the mushroom ones, but definitely not the legacy schools in Nigeria. When many people are running PhD in America and canada directly with their bachelor's degree from Nigeria without even masters. |

If I become the NUC chairman, my first policy would be to create a strict acceptance policy for schools in West, Central and East Africa.
If you are not schooling in the top 2 schools specified by the Nigerian NUC in any west, east or Central African country, don't bother coming back to Nigeria with your certificate.
Someone that can't pass UTME will just travel to any mushroom African country, gain admission, come out with "top" grades and then compete in the same labour market. |

Limitless72: "Most Nigerian schools would not accept you for a masters program with that certificate"- Sir, what yardstick do you use to arrive at this conclusion. My institution is very much recognized by CAMES, Higher ministry of Education and NUC... Are you trying to say every certificate obtained from Benin Republic is rejected by the Nigerian system?
You also made mention of certificates acquired from first world countries such as the UK and Australia being regarded as "above standard" compare to the Nigerian bachelor's degree.
Are you trying to say students from the UK can't undergo their post graduate program in Nigeria because they (Nigeria system) considered themselves unworthy....
Pls you might want to expatiate a little on this your assertions..... Its absurd No. He is saying just like Nigerian universities would not accept your degree, top universities in America and Australia would not accept your degree either. Nigerian universities have no problem being accepted for masters in America and Australia. |

A friend that studied in Ukraine was given an A4 paper to just write half page..that was in camp because according to him he wasn't aware of the verification exercise..... That is how poor the graduates from Benin republic have been. |

stepaside2: Govt officials should do more to demonstrate their love for this country. However if we are to condemn, let it be across board. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala has a US passport, Gov Obiano will go back to the US after his tenure, Gov-elect Prof Soludo has his family abroad and I can cite many more examples. To be clear, I see nothing wrong in it as long as we can see the commitment to Nigeria through their service. Ngozi is the only exception there. She lived and worked in America, long before she entered Nigerian politics. Her roots are there. Her family are established members of the society there doing very well in their chosen fields. Her relevance was never because of Nigeria. American education gave her everything. She was doing her thing in the world Bank when OBJ came to pick her. The other two clowns you listed are parasites that benefitted everything from Nigeria, without giving back. |

A condition of being in government should be that you use public facilities so that you are forced to see what the true state of the nation is. If you cannot do that don't enter government. Then you'll soon see who the real 'public servants' are and who exists to line their own pocket. In any first world country, her political career would be finished. It would be immediate. |
