Thirteen days after my exam, I got an email with a link to view my results. That's the standard for paper-based exams. How long has it been since your test date?

For answering techniques and preparation I used YouTube videos by ieltsdaily, ieltsliz and ielts E2 language. E2 Language was exceptional with respect to writing for me.

Please celebrate my IELTS GT results with me...

I judiciously went through this thread and noted all the free resources that previous test takers used. I reviewed them, selected a few and ran with those (including IELTS E2 or Jay on YouTube) albeit only for about two weeks over a 1 month period.

Prospective test takers, be encouraged! You can do even better

I intend to use my NYSC experience in applying for PR via express entry. The problem is I do not have any pay records of either the federal allowance or the allowance I received from the state government. My PPA was a state government school. Will having only a reference letter be sufficient?

If you're submitting your passport to the same visa application Centre as where you did your biometric, then you're not required to pay.... Also, you only need to submit your passport and the passport request letter...Congrats

Reveived a mail that I should forward my passport within 30days.

I'm an online applicant. School of choice is University of Regina (MAsc Process Systems Eng).

Could this be the fortune sign?

You should contact the hospital again and tell/show them the medical doc CIC sent to you so that they forward your medical result using the UMI( Unique medical identifier)in the email.
The missed sheet caused the situation because as at the time you do an upfront medical, the hospital will generate a UMI number and later forward your result using this number for CIC to locate it in their database.
But now that CIC have sent you a medical mail and the upfront sheet wasn't uploaded, they apparently could not locate your result and have generated a UMI number for you other than the one the hospital generated.
So quickly contact the hospital showing them the doc from CIC and they will send your result using the UMI from CIC.

I actually went to the hospital with the printed doc from CIC. In fact the hospital also demanded for it. I believe it was needed and used in resending my result...but I didnt see this UMI number on the doc. What I saw was UCI and IME numbers aside my phone number and application number

The hospital might have sent it but you have to send the embassy the UMI number on the Upfront medical sheet via email so they can access it and update your medicals.

Hello y'all.
I applied for study permit visa to Canada on Oct 26, 2016 online. Did biometics Nov 9 or thereabout and got medical mail Jan 17.

The thing is I did medical upfront at Prime Medical Consultants Sept 15 in Port Harcourt but somehow my sis (in Canada) missed uploading the medical sheet when submitting my application. I went back to the said hospital last two wks thursday. I later got to know they forwarded my results the following sunday. My account still hasnt been updated yet. I was even at d hospital last friday and they claimed to have sent my results still. My sis has also sent an inquiry to cic online on that (last thursday).

Pls good people what do I do? Has there been a slightly similar case like mine that I could learn from?

How and where is it done? What are the requirements please? Any compulsory documents needed?

I am interested in learning modelling and programming courses (such as MATLAB, C++, Simulink etc) and engineering design softwares (like ProMax, Aspen HYSIS, AutoCAD, etc) and would like your frank suggestions/ advice on the best places I could learn them. I have heard of New Horizons but they dont seem to be offering these courses from what I've read about them in their website with the exception of AutoCAD.

Please let me know where in Port Harcourt I could learn from the best who would ensure I get the best out of them.
