Tgirl4real: ohh!No, just 26. Thanks |
centje: hmmm...that's strange o, I thought one cant get 100% esp when art is involvedRight! On a more serious note, the judge mentioned the same thing, the bonus point system was the cause of that. We might have to revisit that particular score. The scoring is still in progress, though. |
centje: judge5 is really generousDo you remember the tough Judge 1 from Round 1? He is judge 5 for Round 2. |
centje: where's the linkhttps://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/pub?key=0AnMTzXHDO1ZLdG1RWDE1YWFoTlZQekQzeHRYLVVnUFE&gid=4 |
timpaker:Lol, is this an attempt to reveal that you are leading. Nonsense! You've got a huge ego! ![]() The link is working fine. Here is the link--> https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/pub?key=0AnMTzXHDO1ZLdG1RWDE1YWFoTlZQekQzeHRYLVVnUFE&gid=4 |
jadelord: grading completed yet? @CuddlemiiNo. 2 judges are yet to complete theirs. |
Madam Cuddles, please I don't understand the column with bonus points...on the grading sheet.
All topics are either 20,10, or 5 points depending on how difficult, or challenging the topics are. 20 points - most challenging; 10 points - more challenging; 5 points - challenging. 20 points, means you automatically have 20 bonus points for choosing the topic. 100-20 = 80. Therefore, the judges are only responsible for grading you 80marks out of 100. It's very good deal, and an opportunity to score more points. 20 bonus points + 80 marks from the judges = 100(total) 10 bonus points + 90 marks from the judges = 100(total) 5 bonus points + 95 marks from the judges = 100(total) Makes sense? Please refer to this thread, I explained this before in detail |
kpolli: I apologize to those am working with, been busy trying to park out of Naija is tasking and the final good byes to the ppl I came to holiday with isn't easy... But now am less busy so fully at your serviceThank you |
Lol @ empty. The grading process is still in progress. I posted the link so everyone can track/monitor the scores. Thanks |

ANNOUNCEMENT: @Contestants: thank you for the hard work, and perseverance. @Designers: thank you for squeezing out time of your busy schedule, to support this literary cause. By the way, I've left the submission thread unlocked, in case some contestants are still on their way to catch the train. Grading would go on as planned, and I wish you all the best. Thank you! |

onegig: Wow! Am just coming from the upload thread. I must say i am awed at the various designs. I am just sad that some designers never turned up. Seriously. Cuddles if you can just extend the deadline till 12pm tonight. Am ready to do the design for all outstanding poets. Everyone must have a level playing field. I understand this is about the poems but seriously the designs also tell a lot of stories about the poem. we can also make it more participatory and interesting by making the forum members also vote and tarry this up with the judges votes. Just my opinion though but it would be more fun.I just checked the submission thread, and everyone who reserved a spot submitted except chistar01. He has gone AWOL for quite sometime now. Two other poets sent me emails expressing how pleased they were to have qualified, but fortunately, they had other commitments like school, and literary projects to attend to, therefore they had to withdraw. I am wondering why only one of your design, that of Princesca is up though. What happened to your other poets? Why did you submit late for fynline? By the way, thank you. |
@Designers: thank you very much for everything! What could we have done with |
Hopefully, everyone would catch the train at noon. Whose without a designer? Please say it now. We don't want to leave anyone behind. I heard the light at the end of the tunnel is beaming bright, and most importantly, it is filled with blessings, fortune, and kisses. |
kpolli: I apologize to those am working with, been busy trying to park out of Naija is tasking and the final good byes to the ppl I came to holiday with isn't easy... But now am less busy so fully at your serviceLol, the deadline for submission is tomorrow at noon. What are the names of the poets assigned to you? I know d-hammer has submitted his. |
Don Oms: *peeped with philosophical goggles and reserves comment*Lol, please speak your mind. |
Hmmm, the lady with glasses was in tears, that was touching. But what I don't get is the part where the interviewer asked for their full names. I mean is it compulsory to have their identity known to the general public? |
Wow, I am a chronic fan of horror movies. But, I cant still believe most of the designs have horror/dark themes. I did not know we Nigerians were open minded, and daring. What happened to the scary nature we possess as Nigerians? I hope the topics did not spoil most of you? To all contestants, well done, you are good risk takers |
Shugamania:Were you? Don't worry! Feel sexy |
badmusace: Problem solved!Yay!!!! Hallulyah! |
ANNOUNCEMENT: Probably I didn't stress it in the beginning, let me use this opportunity to address it again. You are not been graded on the design but the content/quality of you poem. The design part was just to add spice, and make you guys experience team work. So focus more on delivering good poems. Thanks |
badmusace: okay.but if I click on modify I still see the picture in "browse"Please try and figure it out. If I didn't ask, you wont have said anything. You didn't say anything! I just guessed something must have gone wrong, but that doesn't mean I have the solution to everything. If your designer gives you something that doesn't work, then the first step is to quote him here, and then send him an email, to see how it can be resolved. Alternatively, you have the option of working with another designer Kennikazi, send him an email/quote him here as your back-up plan. |
badmusace: .jpgOk? So are you having problems uploading? Do you have your design? Between, Classicdea uploaded his, please ask him for help. |

Hey, your design isn't showing? Was it uploaded successfully? What kind of file extension does it have? I mean do you see .jpg, .jpeg, .png at the end of the file name. These questions also apply to the other contestants whose designs are missing. Thanks. |
ANNOUNCEMENT: Please Saturday, 24th August is the deadline for Round 2. At exactly 12pm,the thread would be locked. Please let your designers know about this, today. If you do not have a designer, send us an email, asap Pcguru has attended to most of his poets, if not all. I am yet to see his poets' work on the official thread. Please, if its your poem that is delaying, please work on it. Thank You! |
russigin: wah bout me?sent |
timpaker:I have sent you an email just now, and copied your designer. Please check, and reply your email. |
russigin: @cuddlemi,my designer went awol after our first meeting...can i get a new designer or do i still wait for him? timpaker:What are the names of your designers? I would contact them. If they are indisposed, I'd re-assign both of you Asap. Thanks. |

To all contestants, well done, you are good risk takers
