Kindly explain again or post a link to were it was explained.
20 points - most challenging - 20marks covered out of the total grade of 100.
The Judges would be responsible for grading the 80marks remaining.

10 points - more challenging - 10marks covered out of the total grade of 100;
The Judges would be responsible for grading the 90marks remaining.

5 points - challenging - 5 marks covered out of the total grade of 100;
The Judges would be responsible for grading the 95marks remaining.

Don't know if i am over-stepping my bounds but, wouldn't it be a good idea posting some sort of invitation in the tech section for designers (since that's where they dwell)?
I did a mini advert about this on tech board.

Anyhoo, since that was my intention, I'll create an invitation thread on the tech board.

Questions:
Please, read the guidelines properly, and understand them. Every other information will be provided, as we commence. The competition is still a month from now, it's not compulsory that you know the entire process, today. We will guide you through each process as we proceed. Focus on writing good poems, and let's handle the rest.

Names:
If your name is not included on the list, immediately, do not bother about that. On the 13th of Aug, 2012, everybody is more than welcome to submit on the official thread. If you just want to let us know in advance that you'd be participating, then, you can do so.
"am in as a poet!"
"am in as a designer!"

Topic Release:
Still working on the topics. Will release them, once I am done. It's only needed for round 2

That is what we mean by presenting or selling your poems to the judges & viewers. However, that part of the competition is only applicable for the 2 round.

OMA4U: Are we going to be shown how each poem is being scored? So, to know where we nail it and where we miss it.
Just like every competition, there is going be a marking scheme, rubric or template. The judges will score according to that. At the end of the competition, the judges will give an overview of all the poems and what improvements are required.

For round 2, the scores will be very comprehensive/descriptive.

No registration form, lol. Just indicate what to role you'd like. A poet or designer? Then, submit your first poem on the 13th of August.

Click on the "reply" button on the official thread, paste your poem, and click "Submit"

Afterwards, send us the exact same copy with the email provided, on that same day. That's all we ask.

Yes, the competition is open to everyone, and anyone can join/submit at their own convenience in Round 1.
Regardless of whether they specified their interest on time or on this thread.
The list is just to have an idea of the no of contestants, and keep things organized, in order for people to monitor the progress.

Now, I'm hoping we'd get enough graphic artists to match the number of poets, willingly...or we could look into enlisting Erad to do a little coercing for us.

LET'S LEAVE OUT THE ESSAYS FOR NOW, BEFORE WE ALL GET CONFUSED!

FOCUS ON WRITING YOUR POEMS.

REMEMBER, ONLY 20 POETS WOULD QUALIFY FOR THE NEXT ROUND.
