Romance › Re: I'm So Addicted To Prostitutes. I Feel Suicidal. by CUMIN: 10:03am On Jan 26, 2022 |
Tired2022 You problem comes from toxic masculinity. There's a part of your brain that demean women most especially normal day to day lady as not up to your standard. That part of your brain every lady you meet or see who doesn't conform with your (standard you set in your brain) as not-too-good for you.
You need to start re-programming your brain to see normal street lady as the real thing and the prostitute as the bad ones.
But to break the cycle. You need a girlfriend. To get one I would advice to start initiating conversation with ladies in everywhere you go. Bus, road, reception anywhere. And always do follow up.
You can also try fasting to spiritual distance yourself from that act. |
Business › Re: Dangote Refinery: Roaring To Life On The Lagos Blue Sky by CUMIN: 9:29am On Jan 26, 2022 |
Alusiizizi: Is Dangote the only private citizen that could have raised up a refinery business? I am sure that there are many others in Nigeria, so why is he the only one to have done so? During Obasanjo era. About 15 companies were issued license to build refinery they bought the license with a view of reselling it at a higher profit. Others were scared to initiate such project. |

angelfallz: 2000km away from Lagos? That is really far.
Would it not be more expensive to transport the crude? And buying crude from another country when Nigeria has its own crude, sounds counter productive, don't you think?
We may never the true reasons why Dangote chose Lagos state to site his refinery. It's a straight forward business. The crude will be loaded on a ship. And unloaded straight to the refinery...very cheap. There's a sub sea pipeline that connect Lagos to SS. He could transport through that. But if there's disruption which I believe there will be in the long run with the nature of the SS boys. Foreign crude would offset that supply. |

LegendHero: So your people can just go there and burn it down if any single thing goes wrong?
Businessmen need security and stability. Even you yourself won’t establish your refinery in Imo if you have one. Most of them wouldn't establish a factory back home due to the greedy nature of their folks. A disagreement can earn the wrath of burning like they did to that Lagos commissioner that had house in Anambra. They're ae even killing their own kings just because they visited buhari. They will burn it because of their envy nature. |

JavaScript90: Great. But this project should be sited at a major oil producing state like I'm state not at Lagos. He should source for his oil from the 30 liters of oil Lagos produce. SMH for NIGERIA Refinery can be sited anywhere. Those locations in the SS he intended the governors were very greedy. They want shares without paid up capital. He proposed to the then Ondo governor same thing happened. When he approached Lagos government they inclined to his demand. One thing you need to know is that this particular refinery doesn't only refine the light sweet crude we have in Nigeria. He had factored the greedy nature of the niger-delta that is why this project was designed to refine heavy crude oil from other part of Africa like Angola which is less than 2000km from Lagos. Kudos to Alhaji dangote the black yansh billionaire. Kudos to Lagos state government. |

Boogiebee: Hello Nairalanders,
So straight to the point. Please I need your advice about two things.
1. I just got my inheritance and I got cash of 8M and there's this popular belief of people squandering their inheritance,I don't want that to be my portion so which business can I invest it into. For context, I currently have a job and I'm not ready to quit so please put that into consideration.
2. My younger brother is still a student so he has asked me to save his portion of 6M in bank until he graduates but I don't think that's a good idea. I would rather he put it in some form of secure investment that will be yielding something. Kindly give us suggestions.
May the soul of my beloved Father continue to rest in peace. Amen Convert everything to dollars and wait. |

Ngorbungor: You just stated my position, that's doesn't mean other states are not trying their best in bringing development to there people but Lagos state government is not doing anything different from other states just that the private organisations and federal government are covering for them. They're doing a lot of work, you think it's all about roads and bridges. Relocate to your father's state if you think they're doing nothing. |
