millionaireman: I am moved to comment here by Gov. Okorocha's assertion that his people are pushing him to continue as governor to complete his projects.

I come from Okorocha's Orlu constituency. In 2011, we mobilized Orlu voters and dared Ohakim's winning machinery. And compared to others, Okorocha got the highest number of votes from my constituency in 2011 guber race.

But for now:-
(1) no pipe borne water in my Orlu constituency.

(2) the urban drainage project started by past governor Ikwechegh remains uncompleted - erosion has since led to the death of a baby and carried double-deck buildings in my constituency.

(3) the road leading to the only govt investment in my constituency - a teaching hospital - has since been washed away by erosion.

(4) Most of the roads built by previous govts in my constituency have been washed away in the last three year - no repairs.

(5) One of Okorocha's first act as governor was appointing a visitation panel to examine how a nearly completed sports stadium worth up to a billion Naira built by his predecessor in my constituency came about. The stadium then had hosted both international and national football matches. After the panel, the dismantling of the stadium started, and the steel structures, aluminium sheets, etc, being dismantled are being sold by who knows who.

(6) Gov. Okorocha promised my Orlu constituency a Prince Hotel. No hotel anywhere here. But construction work is advancing on the Princess Hotel promised same time in Okigwe.

(7) The road construction works started by Okorocha-led govt in my Orlu constituency are no where nearing completion. Obstruction of movements have lingered for more than two years here.

( In most of the last two years here, electric poles are brought down throwing people in darkness for upwards of one year. Today, owing to fallen poles, much of my constituency remains without electricity.

Gov Okorocha, you said your people are urging you to remain in politics after 2015? The same people are asking you to FIRST OF ALL, complete the drainage system, complete the roads you started, restore the sports stadium destroyed under your govt, build the Prince Hotel in Orlu, repair the about 1km road to the teaching hospital. These are not tall orders.

Nnwannem, God bless u a million fold. What u said here is exactly what we did during the election in 2011. Myself, my brothers and youths in my village kept vigil and made sure nothing compromised that election. It was even the first time I was given a weapon to wield. Orlu voted MASSIVELY for this criminal but today we are grossly disappointed. Rochas has seized peoples lands, demolished peoples houses including one of my dads storey buildings in orlu without any form of compensation, even the roads he proposed to build on the lands acquired from the demolished houses are just lying there an eyesore. I pity people of my community cos the dust raised by cars when driving by those abandoned roads can blind someone and this is what they have been going through for almost 2 whole years under the leadership of this fraudster. Rochas, Imolites are waiting for you at 2015 junction.

Are u always this dumb?? Has rochas been governing IMO since u were born?? For ur info, I also visit other parts of imo state, I'm also from Orlu rochas's hometown. If my brother keeps scamming Imolites, I'm sorry but I can't support him. I'll stand for what is just. Rochas hasn't completed any major or meaningful project. If u know of any "meaningful" project of his, feel free to state it but don't come here telling me how he commissioned a catholic church in ur community oo.

berem: Carry your hatred somewhere else! He is going to contest in the next governorship election whether you seem interested or not. The obligation you have is to vote for him and let him finish the good works he started.

Abeg, what "good works" has he started?? Building extra-extra Large round-abouts everywhere he see's a junction? Abandoning road projects he started only to resume them at the end of the year(so people will see them nd think he's actually doing something,cos he knows that imolites in diaspora will be returning home for xmas nd new year festivities) and abandon dem again when the festivities are over. Or is it those fancy sub-standard death traps he built for little children? Tell me just 1 meaningful thing rochas has done since he assumed position as governor except the free education which is not totally free because students are still required to pay 20thousand. Mind you, Rochas had to give that free education cause it was the pillar on which he was elected. Or is it his fancy pedestrian bridges which he has been building for 9 good months and still counting. A project that would take roughly 2-3weeks to complete. Or is it his abandoned gates projects? His abandoned water projects? What exactly are his "good works" my dear Berem? I school in imsu nd have been living in owerri for 4 years now so don't play on my intelligence like u're tryna do to people here.

Who cares If they had called-off this strike after meeting with the president instead of jumping from one meeting to another, dis man would still be hale n hearty. He'll even be making plans on how he'll squander the millions he'll get from the revitalisation fund. Rubbish thread!

The leadership of ASUU has just come up with a new condition that must be fulfilled before the industrial action is called off.
Speaking with news men on wednesday 4th of December 2013, the union chairman Dr. Nasir Isa Fagge stated categorically that all Universities are hereby required to select one female student to represent them, these representatives are required to attend the next NEC meeting where they are required to twerk. If their twerking satisfies the executive council members, the strike will then be called off in less than 48hours.
