the problem is the os that you are running. Move ur pics to ur mc download contact imex from BlackBerry world and use it to back up ur contacts. After that wipe ur phone and then upgrade ur os to the latest 10.2.1.2977 and u are good to go

I think u will have to visit glo centre. Or u can call their customers care. But for me the best way is just to go to their website and chat with a customer representative. It's a live chat so no delay. U can ask them about porting

use glo bis. 1k for 3gig. Or u can use airtel 1500 for 2gig. MTN and Etisalat blocked their bis from working on bb10 phones. If glo is stable in ur area it is the best.

ur bold 5 has a hotspot so u don't need to install anything. Just know that MTN and Etisalat blocked their bis so u can't share them with ur hotspot but u can share glo and airtel.

the notification is for the apps update. I think u should update them or ignore them by opening the 1mobile app and unmark them. Alternatively u can save the 1mobile apk in ur memory card and then uninstall the 1mobile market when ever u need to download u install back. Snap was best but since snap doesn't work in Africa again that's how I use 1mobile cos the notification can be annoying

that's right bro u will see shops that will sell it for 50k plus. How I wish blackberry can open their own shop in naija just like they did in South Africa and dubai. That way all this shops won't influence the prices

it's really so unfortunate that BlackBerry don't listen. They said the phone will be between $150 to $200 now in naija konga is already putting it at 39k plus. Am sorry to say but anything below 30k that phone will be a big failure in naija. Z10 is currently at 32k. when people can get normal android below.

yes. And it's better than opera mini and rest. I once had opera mini, Firefox, chrome and Maxton browser in my phone but ended up not using any of them cos the native browser is better and resumes download even after restarting the phone severally

the biggest mistake u made was not recharging before u exhausted ur mb. It's easier to renew automatically than to sub new one cos of the network issue they are having. Even to check ur data balance now is a problem. Keep trying though.

If u want to get a blackberry go for BlackBerry10 phone. Q5, Q10 and z30 has an amazing battery life. Z10 is the cheapest right now but has an average of 8 to10hours heavy use while 14 to 15hours moderate use. And then again if u upgrade ur os to the latest u can install android apps and games too.

If you are using legacy device u can't watch YouTube videos cos they block it in the bis plan. But note that u can watch YouTube videos embedded in websites. But if u are using bb10 phones u can watch YouTube videos with ur bis at no extra cost. So the best option is for u to download if u are using legacy device

henry007: been playing with my bro's q5, battery seems to be more than enough for my heavy daily use (upgrading os, installing apks and games, light browsing via default browser, transferring over bluetooth for 45mins,NFC was on for about 3hrs b4 I turned it off) all over WiFi. considering data usage so far so good have about 5hrs left. using os version 10.2.1.1925. won't upgrade further. this might be my next device

Q5 battery is good that was my first bb10 phone. After z30 then q10 and Q5. Z10 is the one they messed up when it comes to battery.

I don't think it's from the mcard but still don't roll anything out. But that os version is full of bugs especially for z10 stl100 users. The os was pulled off recently so find a way to downgrade or look for the one the roll out last week that fixed the bugs
