minor needs data page of both parents intl ppt and nin of one parent to get a ppt in Abuja, Lagos and ph.. minor also needs own NIN even if 1 hour old baby.. check the site for the rest of the documents or read this thread.. dnt know the requiremnts for other states

Berea college is test optional (it's not a must to take sat) and my score was almost the same as the Kenya girl's own when converted to us gpa and she got in without sat, and even if you don't take sat all admitted students financial needs are met, and for the last time, I have decided to take sat (to assist my gpa), I joined this forum because I needed advice and different people's view on the issue, but most of the replies have been insulting, and seriously, can't some of you advice someone without insulting the person, so dear pls do your research and gain more knowledge before coming online to write what you feel like

Look they said this last year, virtually all US colleges. Even with going test optional the ppl ik that got admitted test optional aren't from Africa they just say this even students from the US won't apply test optional and you coming from an unknown curriculum wants to get a full ride test optional. When 2 or more ppl tell you things on this thread they're not just trying to discourage you but they're just realistic. A NL was like this last year despite his national awards and good WAEC he got 21 rejections plus he got interviewed by nearly half of the ivies. Why didn't he get in? Because some students had the SAT which is substantial to determine ability to excel in their curriculum. There's still time to register for December SAT. Don't be enveloped in your dreams believing everything will come on a platter of Gold. Good luck!


PS: Berea college is not a school that receives so many applications so you can stand a chance but don't put all your eggs in one basket. And it's not the same for the top colleges. Just because someone got in test optional doesn't mean others too can get it in test optional, look ppl write poor essays that sound like thrash to AOs it's not WAEC essays where they ask us to become fiction writers ooo lmao. Just take the SAT at least because your chances of getting into Berea isn't 100%

Avoid Ikoyi for now. Immigration there are frustrating alot of DIY folks there. Some of those that have gotten theirs via DIY used extreme measures like seeing the PCO, reporting to servicom, etc.

There's Festac and Alausa passport office with far better service.

My advise is , if you have money go for express (if you want to use IKOYI). Alausa as you can read has no passport booklet at the moment and they are looking at January to get booklet. Maybe you try FESTAC (if you don't have money for express).

There is no way your friend is resuming in 10 days. The company needs to file for an H1B visa for him, that alone takes months to be approved.

I'm quite aware H1B is for University Graduates, which he isn't or highly skilled professionals which he isn't. He's just a term with extreme management abilities.

My bestie, 17 yrs old (will be 18 late this year) just got a job offer from ROBLOX, that company that design games in San Manteo, California as a Youth Program Coordinator. He's to resume in 10 days but ROBLOX asked him to send his international passport number to generate some paperwork for him.

Please I'd like to know

1) Can he get an expedited international passport within 5 days and how much will it cost?
2) What type of Visa does he need, can he apply for an expedited Visa in the next 3 days and how much is the cost?
3) can he Travel on or before the 9th day and within what range is the flight ticket?
5) Also, can 1.5 million naira run the whole process of leaving Nigeria and paying like 2/3 month rent?
6) Chances of getting his Visa approved?

P.S: The pay is 50k USD per year, he needs to get an apartment, cover his transportation, feeding, and accommodation. The contract is just for 2 years.

How to study for the test is entirely up to you.

In one of my emails to you, I believe I even directed you to a sub-Reddit, where students like you share SAT problems. Everything now depends on how proactive you are.

Regarding my daughter, I'll just tell you some of the things that may have helped her application, apart from test scores and essays:

Recommendation letters from teachers and school counselor.
State champion Math Olympiad.
State champion Cowbellpedia.
2019 MIT WTP summer program participant (EECS cohort).
Math and basic science tutor for a local NGO.
Created Math club in her secondary school.

Then guarantor shud also give u one passport photo, data page of his intl passport data and then his or her driver’s licence or NIN

Completed passport application form and 2 passport sized photographs (passport photographs endorsed at the back by the Guarantor);

Completed Guarantors’ form duly signed by a Commissioner for Oaths attached with Photocopy of Data page of Guarantor’s Nigerian ePassport and one passport sized photograph of the Guarantor;
Marriage certificate, where applicable;

you could ask the school for a CSS fee waiver code if they give to international students, else ask if they accept the ISFAA (international student financial aid application), its a free paper based you'll download or the college emails it to you its not available on college board website. If the college doesnt provide css waiver codes to intl students or accept the ISFAA be ready to pay $25, if you need to send it to additional colleges they'll ask you to pay $16 per colleges.
