Nigeria ,the giant of Africa , 2nd most endowed after Congo kinsasha and yet it's most poorest and most corrupt will see no coup d'etat. Not now and not in the immediate foreseeable future..

The closest to a coup we ever came was during the era Gen Dambazzau, who was chief of army staff under Yar'Adua. He openly disrespected acting president Jonathan and was on the brink of declaring a coup . The United States under Obama will later issue a threat to him ,not to try it .

After the death of Yar'Adua,Jonathan was made president and he immediately fired Gen Dambazzau.
Gen ihejirika will be appointed as CAS , and he went on to become the most effective army chief since independence.

Muhammadu Buhari ,with full corperation from the SW will become the president of the Republic .
Nigerians had high expectations,high hopes and etc.
But after just 4yrs , buhari will be judged as the worst president alive world-wide. Political Scientist predicted he will not seek a re-run .
But alas they were wrong , becuz he not desired a re-run, but he also won despite all odds .
Buhari 8years was the worst any nation in living memory could endure. Nigerians were killed like rabbits , the economy was in tatters and the regime was aloof,ruled by a stale, pale and nonchalant commander in chief who appeared disconnected from his surrounding and from reality .

In Martin Hassan Kukah words " no president will do ⅕ of what Buhari has subjected Nigerians to and will last that long in office without being removed by the military via a coup". This generated a lot of serious backlash on the Rev father. But he stood his ground .

If the military , seeing the evil and perdition Buhari subjected Nigerians didn't attempt or perfect a coup d'etat, then they have no justification to do one under this Tinubu regime .

A coup contemplation at this point against a Tinubu presidency would be mistaken as an ethnic agenda by northern military elements who are 90% tipped to carry it out ..

However , the science of coups d'etat has changed over the years and the military has learnt how to balance those dynamics that keep the people divided , especially religion and tribalism .

Even if a coup is staged , the ruler would be from a neutral tribe .
Is that not why you see on tv over 20 military officers declaring a coup and giving themselves various names like protector of the motherland , protector of the institutions and etc?
These 20 military officers you see , cut across the the tribes and religion of that country . That is to say , everyone sees his brother or sister amongst the coupist on display . A way to endear themselves to the people .

Bottom remains that IF THE MILITARY DIDN'T SEE REASON TO REMOVE A Completely CATASTROPHIC BUHARI , THEN I SEE NO REASON WHY Tinubu should be threatened with a coup .

Now let's do some arithmetic.

The cost of producing a barrel of bonny light crude oil in Nigeria ranges between $17-$20 per barrel. A barrel of crude oil is 168liters.

IOC (international oil companies ) spend $20 to drill a barrel out of the earth . And then sell it in the international market for $82 (current price). IOC's operating in 9ja include Mobil , siapem, nestoil , Addax and several other indeginous crude oil miners.

So we assume the Warri and portharcourt refinery are working optimally ..

After distilling a barrel of BONNY LIGHT CRUDE OIL , here are the derivatives you will get and their quantities.

Petrol - 90liters

Kerosene - 30liters
Diesel -70liters
Gas oil - 45 liters
Lubricating oil - 3liters
Lpfo- 20liters
Asphalt - 8liters[color=#006600]

The federal government owned refineries will receive crude oil at max $25 per barrel , piped directly to them.

Current I&E forex window $25x₦750= ₦18,750 for a barrel of crude oil to the refineries.

Let's see what we get after a fractional distillation of this barrel.

Diesel @ ₦400/liter = 70liters x ₦400= ₦28,000

Kerosene @₦250/liter= 30liters x ₦250= ₦7500

Let's assume a (NOTE: it's almost triple this price) ₦70/liter price for the remaining products amounting to 76 liters . = ₦70 x 76liters =₦5,330.


TOTAL AMOUNT in naira obtained FROM DISTILLING A BARREL OF BONNY LIGHT CRUDE =₦14,400+ ₦28,000 +₦7,500 +₦ 5,330 = ABOUT ₦56,000.

COST OF A BARREL OF CRUDE OIL TO THE REFINERIES IS ₦18,750.
Therefore projected profit will be

₦56,000- ₦18,750 = ₦37,250..


The refineries will still be raking in a massive profit of ₦37,250/barrel of crude oil(note it is more than this figure ) if it sells

Petrol @₦150/liter
Diesel @₦400/liter
Kerosene @₦250/liter...
