Almost d same position as dangflour..@currentprice help me analyse d result. almost 48% difference from 2017.
not a good result. in my own opinion FM may likely fall more from the currentprice.

on my bedsheet, i have fairprice of N13

the good thing i see about this result is the company have positive Free cash from equity, "others company in same category lack this" which if proper use can increase their Q3 earnings

FCFE per share is 5 times the EPS reported. good oxygen for them

That means OANDO is in soup. Could that be the reason for the delay?

Oando and eterna are not totally in the same line of business. Eterna don't do crude oil.

This one that Oga CP has removed FA wedge down to around N4.00.
You that would have supplied liquidity at N4.90 is not known for rescuing Janets. grin
I can only seek employment in this company for now. A 'Nightwatchman' job here will be a better decision for now... grin
not yet value DF base on latest Q boss

was only reference my previous post based on Q1 when price was well above N10. that i believe nobody still hold the stock base on the gap btw that N10 and less than N4 fairprice then

I am still surprised that neither CP nor OGG has commented on Aiico, or did I miss a class?
Mpeace:
Maybe there is nothing to comment. The result speaks for it self. Aiico is a falling knife, if u like put your hand.
when i have not post to give room for quick counter post. i have said it here time and time, my fairprice mean nothing to the mkt just to compare /see the gap btw the currentprice. for caution shake grin grin if i dont post here, i will still buy stock and make money, mkt have eyes to see value.

as for Aiico with fall in earnings compare to the previous Q, Aiico still have the best discount so far with 2.20% gap btw currentprice and my fairprice. fairprice N2.45

but caution still need to be taken based on my previous post quoted below

onegentleguy:
Yes NOT fantastic, but JULIUS BERGER'S Q3 is undoubtedly a good result.
The problem is that u sometimes choose to look at a particular earnings line in isolation without a proper recourse to other core underlying determinants.
In retrospect, the EPS line alone is important, but it will not tell u the whole story.
Its best to look at all the combination of drivers of profitability, liquidity, efficiency and solvency accross all KEY revenue and earnings line.

The company has done well given where they are coming from. Earnings drive has gapped up (both QoQ & over 9M) and is very much in line to beat that of the proceeding yr. (YoY)
The N5.04 EPS is the TTM figure [(3.61-0.04) + 1.47], but that projection is feasible. How? ...Look at the PROFIT MARGIN, GROSS MARGIN, EBITDA MARGIN, and ETERPRISE VALUE.
Even at an adjusted discount figure of 15% (attaching a 13% risk free rate to a premium of 2%), Fair Value should compute as approx N34. ...which means there's a potential value gap to tap from.

However, while their result is good, there are much better companies on the bourse right now. ...there are better value and growth driven coys that one can BUY !!
But the result from JBERGER came in good. It's left for folks to decide on what they want.
Everything depends on one's personality, strategy and investment horizon.

On the part in bold, u also need to apply the same backward analytical view on ACCESS to make a better judgement. (don't get me wrong; ACCESS like I've stated here in the past is a great coy) ...I only advised for caution going forward. (particularly for long term investors)
That said, I respect ur opinion like I do with that of other folks here.

Disclosure: I currently do NOT hold a single unit in JBERGER.
Disclaimer: Due diligence is still advised as always pls.
thatz your opinion anyway and you are entitle to it. do u know fairprice of julius barger at Q3 last year? less than N10.

posting my fairprice without long sweet words around it doesn't mean i use EPS alone, i know how far i go before arriving at my figures. EPS is one out of many metrics i use to arrive at my fairprice and it has being working nicely for me.

if i have less than N10 fairprice for last year Q3 and N25 at current Q then i have confident on my metrics.

i repeat again, we dont get award for being right here rather to catch fun

even sterling bank no carry last. selling at 90% discounts

this our bank too cheap sha, only if the numbers are true o anyway to discount this price by 40% you still get good value for money
