Politics / FRSC Arresting For Using GPS by Cute4Mamas(m): 10:09am On Dec 04, 2019
I can't believe that our own Road Safety are now arresting drivers for using GPS Navigation on Abuja roads, its quite funny, gone are those days when we used to park along the road asking "UNKNOWN" people the way to a certain destination.

Now that we have GPS freely available to us, that is when they see it as a crime, how can using GPS navigation be a crime? Instead of raising awareness about educating drivers not to concentrate on their phones too much while driving, they tend to cancel it? So that we go back to the stone age by asking people along the road? That's insane....so will they stop cars with fully fitted factory GPS Navigation in their cars by the automobile company too? If No, then arresting people that uses GPS on their phones is a bad idea....the advantages of driving with GPS is far superior to the disadvantages...there's nothing on earth made by man that doesn't have some disadvantages attached to it, should we now cancel Aeroplane because once in a while it crashes and people die? Or cars because of accidents? can FRSC relate? undecided undecided

The first time I drove to Lagos from Abuja was with the help of Google maps, and it was a successful experience, it informed me about congestions, bad road, and other information i need to know ahead, and I safely drove to lagos with ease without asking from no one....I think our FRSC needs a rethink over this.

God bless Nigeria.
Investment / OVERCOMING THE PROBLEM OF BUSINESS START-UPS by Cute4Mamas(m): 5:04am On Dec 29, 2018
Good morning everyone, please let the like minds contribute to this thread because it happened to me too.

Have you ever noticed in one way or the other that, those who carry big dreams often find it hard to start? They have big, big proposals submitted everywhere, they have applied for funding in most financial institutions but all to no avail.

I'm a big dreamer and I've passed through all these things in recent years, that's why I'm trying to motivate people like me never to give up, and find a way through.

1. YOU STILL HAVE SOME SMALL FINANCIAL MEANS IN YOUR POSSESSION:
Despite all this, some people still have cars, houses, lands even doing some small work to raise money, it means, you should look around you, all you need to start small is around. Before auctioning them out or selling them, you need to have done your background check very well to be sure you won't squander the money, and be sure to do exactly what it's meant for, because, no financial institution in Nigeria will listen to your dreams and proposal if you haven't started something and, no matter how small it is, having constant deposit in your bank account is highly required/recommended.

2. YOU CAN CONSIDER STARTING OUTSIDE THE BOX
In this case, in most industry, to start up is always expensive, some start-ups require some huge amount of money running into millions, even millions of dollars, that's why you need to borrow wisdom, it doesn't mean you have to start with what you love. You can start with something completely different from it, all it require is give it your time, energy and money, N.B don't settle on it, even if you're making constant profit, don't let it distract you from your main dream, you need that to fund or raise equity money to start up your main dream or ambition. Remember, eyes on the prize, nothing should stop you from achieving your goals.

3. SETTING TARGET WITH TIME
A lot of people don't know that setting target is a lot in starting up, there should be a time frame on it too, so if you're not getting results within your time frame, you need to take a deep breath and check whats happening or where things go wrong, if nothing goes wrong, you need to change tactics, there are always way out of every problem just be vigilant and be determined.

4. SEED, TIME, HARVEST
The way this life is being designed is after you've started, you need to give it time before you start getting maximum profit out of your dreams, in most cases you need to sacrifice a lot, you need to groom your dreams till it becomes matured.

5. EXPANSION
When you start making profit, one thing should come to youPlease manage this dick ...r mind, expansion, you need to start expanding your offices within the country or within the state.

NOTE DON'T EVER BE AFRAID TO START, NO MATTER HOW HARD IT SEEMS, EVEN IF YOU FAIL AT FIRST ATTEMPT, TRY AGAIN A MISTAKE TODAY GIVES YOU EXPERIENCE YOU IN YOUR NEXT LEVEL.

Foreign Affairs / How We Are Being Scammed By Our Own Government by Cute4Mamas(m): 11:16am On Mar 29, 2017
Guys, there is a reason why Nigerians are still living in astute poverty, i.e. this country is ours, if we continue to keep quiet, there will be a serious problem here is my list of how we are being scammed illegally in Nigeria by our own government!

PHCN: You can't afford to pay the bill for the month, when their official comes, they will remove power from your house and "THE BILL STILL KEEP COMING"

DSTV: If I subscribe and won't be around, there should be a PAY-AS-YOU-WATCH-FORMAT but it's not, once the month elapse and i wasn't around, once the duration expires, you subscription is gone. So bad.

WATER COOPERATION: It's very bad because we are not using great water, infact in some Communities, there is no water at all, but the bills kept coming. There is no proper metre to measure how many Communities use water or not all they care about is the bill

I can continue to mention companies that are illegally scamming us.

COMMON SENSE: It is not a crime if someone is broke and can't afford the bill for that month, if their officials decide to cut off their services, they should inform the main office and stop the bills!...But in Nigeria, that is not the case, bills alone is dragging away all our fortune, how can we continue in this way? How would we continue to pay for the services not rendered? How can we continue to pay for darkness? This still depends on us, we need to protest massively and stop all these scammers scamming away our hard earned money. This is awful, how long should we continue to keep quiet?

Why won't this country be broke extensively? My thought though.....Please can you guys share your experiences too!

Thanks!

We need to #Wise_up!
