When I was still unemployed, a female friend of mine asked me, if she was to get me a job, how much would I consider being paid. She further asked me how much was my worth monthly.

As a fresh graduate back then I just kept mute because I didn't see any skill in me or had I invested any money on myself. So I couldn't answer the question.

You cannot require more if you know you aren't competent and you cannot settle for less when you know how much you have invested in yourself. When you have answered these two questions, only then can you know if 40k is ok for you or not.

You say there is a difference between a girl, lady and a woman.

Let us liken your statement saying there is a difference between a kitten, a cat and an animal. You see, it just doesn't make sense because a kitten is an animal and also a cat is an animal and what makes a kitten to become a cat is experience or lifespan.

A girl is a woman, and a lady is a woman. It all boils down to level of experience or age factor just as misscokie pointed out. And yes experience impacts on reasoning. You can't expect a normal sane man with 59years experience in life to demand for breast milk, or cry like a baby, its just doesn't make sense.
