but Let me educate you. All the items for the community not just the girls immediate family and the father does not have a final say on how or what will be bought, there is something called a list providing by the elders and kinsmen so most times the girls family are helpless because of they try to make problems or try to force a new law the traditional marriage will either be banned or not recognised. Though its fun (if you have the money) because you get to witness negotiations and friendly arguments during that period and do not be deceived because most times it is optional especially when it is obvious the couples dont have money, palm wine tappers and Okada riders have their wives and kids too, do you think they can afford to buy all this ? 1 love.
