There is. Just Vitamin A. They said Vitamin A is given every 6months. But there's no 12months schedule instead 15months. Calculating 6months after is 21months(1yr 9months) So maybe that's what the center is adopting. Though mine just gave at 6, 15, 18, 24months.
oh i get it now, maybe dats why but my son took vitamin A at 12months at d health centre after dat 15months so d next one written was 21months, i guess dey knw how they do their thing but i'll still ask on tuesday to be sure. Thanks

The husband at this moment should be collected and attentive, in every possible way to support his wife morally and physically. I believe that the presence at the birth is not necessary, but in the hospital I did not leave my wife for a second.
so u stayed with her during labour but didn't witness the birth

Why omeprazole didn't work was eating the wrong food while on treatment, moreso i already sent to my doctor and he said is fine but i have to work on my diet too
I agree with u cos I was also told not to eat fried foods, oily foods, if I want to cook soup I pour in the pepper into the pot first then add oil to it later, not lying down immediately after eating, at least 1-2 hours before lying down, reduce pepper in my foods and reduce sour citrus fruits like unripe orange cos its acidic

Please did you do H.plori test then?
Sorry for the spelling, its rabezol tablet, I didn't do any test, I just told the doctor my symptoms and I was prescribed the drugs.

Please your symptoms then do you have anything like something big stuck in your throat? Crazy heartburn that can last for 24 - 48hrs non stop? Difficulty to breath at night?
I don't have symptoms like something is being stuck in my throat or difficulty breathing, but serious chest pain and heartburn, I always hold my chest in pains and the duration isn't up to a whole day, anytime I take Esomega tablet it relieves me but comes back after a few days until I went to FMC and got a lasting solution
Health / Re: GERD Is Really Dealing With Me Help by cutewifey: 11:36am On May 02, 2020
For more than a month I've been having this feelings like something is stocked in my throat

When I checked Google this what I got.

https://www.google.com.ng/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://my.clevelandclinic.org/health/diseases/17019-gerd-or-acid-reflux-or-heartburn-overview&ved=2ahUKEwjRtNaM2ujdAhUqCsAKHZ81AfgQFjABegQICxAE&usg=AOvVaw0VHaqVXtQfvCWCzrFBdb6F

I went to lab I complained the doctor said its acid reflux he did series of tests, I had to go for scan also, nothing was discovered, they even took a sample from my throat also, after everything they gave me a syrup medicine like mix Mag, can't remember the name

But up till date I'm still experiencing the same thing, it's even getting worse, once I'm done eating it will start as if all the food i ate are stocked in my throat

Please I need serious advice I'm not comfortable at all

Am sorry for any blunder
I can relate to what u are going tru, I had this GERD too while still in school, I was given esomega tablet, I used it but it kept coming back, I'll always be in serious pain cos of heartburn until I went to FMC in Abeokuta and a female doctor attendee to me, she assured me if I can follow the prescription it won't happen to me again, I was given Tab Elicorid, Gaviscon syrup and Tab Rabikol, I can't remember the dosage o cos its over 5years now and I haven't had it again since then, I was also advises not to take oily foods, and also not to lie down to sleep immediately after eating n reduced fried foods but I eat anything now cos I'm perfectly fine

I was also worried when you said you climbed bike during labour. Don't try it again, it's not good

PS: Why didn't. I find this topic interesting
Wot wud u av done if u were in my shoes?, wud u rather take the bike being the only means of transportation u could get around 4am in ur street or stay by the roadside or in the house and give birth there without any prior experience of childbirth because u don't want to climb a bike, my sister I bet u won't even know when u will jump on the bike so u can get it done with

Congratulations to all the mums that have birthed their LOs. Happy bumpy and safe delivery to the pregnant mums.

Please I want to ask a question oooo. Is it OK for a 29 weeks pregnant woman to eat ewedu soup? I'm asking cos I heard eating ewedu aids contraction and given birth and I'm not not close to my due date. Please help me answer if I can eat ewedu at this stage. Thank you.
The one I know is raw ewedu leaf washed and squeezed, the juice from it I heard can cause contraction not the cooked one used as soup, I eat ewedu soup a lot

I've been having pains in my left tummy since yesterday evening, it felt like something is pinching me from within and anytime baby moves or kick me there the pain becomes times 2, If I turn to the right side baby will move there too with painful kicks its so uncomfortable that I couldn't lie down to sleep at night, at a point I became scared thinking maybe labour is abt to start but I'm just 31weeks 4days, I endured the pain till this morning after which I took paracetamol before I got relieved, I will be due in June, please who has experienced this before, hope its not something bad, I noticed baby was extremely active during the whole time turning and kicking hard, I wonder what could cause it but I feel better now

He was "feeling" the pains more than me wey carry the belle....
Natuarally i can bear pains....am the ba komai! ba komai! kind of person...meaning i can endure....during my first pregnany...he was the one busy asking "how are u feeling" and I could reply "nothing, just small pain"...that was how i was answering just small pain till we got to the hospital only to discover i was 7cm gone...hubby was the one who when he couldnt "bear" it anymore decidef to take me to the hospital on his own initiative...since i was still busy waiting for the almighty "labour pain"...
Second pregnancy i gave birth in my bedroom
Ah in the bedroom, how did u cope, was someone with u to help u out wit d labour process

My own Dad was not only not there when my mum was in Labor to have me....He was even too occupied to name me...He just told my mum via Letter "call him Junior" grin

So now, I bear all his names with the suffix (Jr) while he now adds (Sr) to his name smiley

He wasn't there not because he didn't want to be there to witness the birth of his only Child....He was absent because he was involved in peacekeeping in Liberia that year...smiley

When he came back two years later, Him and my mum organized a massive Owambe to celebrate my birth....me that I was already walking and a full blown nuisance in the Neighborhood grin...

A big shout out to both my parents...They are the best cool

Whew your birth story has lighting my mood a bit so i will share mine.

My first delivery was a very tough one walahi it takes the grace of God for me not to lose my baby.

It started around some minutes to 6 that faithful day, i just prayed fajr prayer finished.
Immediately i stood to pack the prayer mat i realized that my water has broken so i told my husband to prepare and lets go to the hospital

I was checked and later sent home to do exercise for a few hours. But to be honest I can't do anything because the pain is unbearable. At some point my husband have to take me back to the hospital where I was given oxytocin. Oh my i wanted to run mad at that point,

Hubby had to start fanning me and begging me to control myself, the poor man has lost quite a lot of weight within 24 hours.

I later put to bed around 9pm that same day but my baby was very weak
It's the grace of God that actually safe her.

Fortunately i had another baby two years later but it was a hitch free delivery
My husband was not even around, he just came back to meet his bouncing baby waiting for him
wow, women are really trying

I could remember vividly when my water broke with my first pregnancy around past 12am. I woke hubby up and showed him what I saw, he jumped up from the bed and asked me if I'm sure baby is about to come, as a JJC that I am too I told him I think so even though I still feel fine that he should go back to sleep.

After some hours, I started having backache with stomach tightening, I went into the restroom to per and I saw show, I had to wake him up again, I told him I think baby is about to come, immediately hubby's body system changed, he started purging going into the restroom to poo. It was around past 3am, he was confused on what to do next, he ask me if I can hold on till around 5am when we can vet bike to the hospital.

I tried to hold on but around past 4am I couldn't take it any longer, we had to go out and look for a means of getting to the hospital, thank God we were able to get a bike, and I delivered around past 6am. All through the labour he was panicky, the nurses sent him out of the room twice when he was hearing my shouts while in the room.

Men are always afraid when their wives are in labour, share your experience too lets have fun reading.

My sister your carrying a baby and its sometimes normal to snore and you wouldn't believe your the one snoring it happened to me when I was pregnant and I didn't know I was snoring it was hubby that made it known to me that I was snoring and I was like that till maybe when I gave birth so bear it for sometime and explain to him that is the weight of the baby or you try change position when you want to sleep.
Thanks for your response, I was really surprised when I listened to the sound recording, hubby understands tho, I hope it stops after giving birth
