Dudes and Ladies please who else is experiencing the poor invites these days. For four months now I'm yet to get an invite even if poor. What could be the problem? Who else is experiencing this? The thing just stopped coming. Ammyluv, Maxing, Smile, Missme, Jade, etc. I need your input.

Reason for that could be due to inproper presentation I.e writing a captivating cover letter before attaching your resume.

Another reason why most people don't get replies is the covering letter. Most job seekers just attach their CV to emails without any reasonable covering letter. Often time I have had potential employers tell me what attracted them to me was my covering letter. Make sure you edit each covering letter to the particular position you are applying for. Don't just write please find attached a copy of my CV for your perusal, it's gives the employer an expression you are not fit for the job. Sell yourself and make sure your CV is awesome. Most times i edit the personal statement in my Resume to suit each Company am applying to. Above all pray for favour each time you send your CV out.Cheers

Mr Man what advise are you seeking from nairaland(Job section) where most commenters here are job seekers, hence they may mislead you to take the multinational company with better pay. personally, I will go for the Govt Job as it afford you the opportunity to follow your dream while also giving you time to start up your own Business( Note that you still have a long way to go with 2 kids) Sometimes, money should not be the determining factor when making choices as regards employment. think of security/Once biten twice shy. Grab the Government job now before I vex(Sorry for the pidgin, was only emphasizing how angry I am at your indecision). Greater Heights

Hi everyone, sorry I've been off for some time now. I really have no reason for the absence but it just happened. I've responded to quite a number of enquiries sent to my mail box and at least chatted with one person on watsapp. For those that went a step further in the process, Congrats. For those who haven't please keep hope alive. The process is still on. During my absence I sent fresh CVs twice. I wrote mine in Abuja and was sent an interview invite But the Venue is Lagos on thur for business banker. Have sent them a mail for reschedule cos I wouldn't be able to make it cos of the short notice.
