Your marriage prolly wasn't based on love in the first place, one reason it was easy for her to change at the slightest provocation. Did you marry her because she got pregnant? If yes, mistake #1. Do you think she'll stop having feelings for this guy now that you've caught her in the act? No, she'll only be more discreet. She may not even be in love with this other guy, he prolly has more money. She's trying to eat her cake and have it bro, she'll dump you if the guy is willing to take her. You said you hit her because she slapped you. Only weaklings hit their women, try to avoid it in future. Bottom line is: Wounds like this don't heal easily, you may need professional help if you really want things to be alright. |
She needs to powder her face every 5 minutes ![]() |

se7enbabie:I love j'adore by Christian Dior, never knew there's a j'adore by Chanel though |
O-R-U-K-A ! ! ! That song is ageless.Today,it still sounds as fresh and interesting in my ears as it sounded the very first day I listened to it. It's a must on my wedding day o. |
Aproko:lmao. . . I bought eva water in the traffic several times last time I went to naija only to discover they are fake Only thing I can buy now is soft sell magazine( don't be surprised if they put latest cover on a very old edition ) |

We all have a right to personal opinions, but personally I don't think there's anything wrong in dating or marrying an only child/son.Some mothers-in-law are just like that,no matter how hard you try even if your husband is the 2nd of 10 children. From the post,I think the woman in question is just jealous, believe it or not.She can't imagine another woman taking such active role in her son's life.I tell you,if this woman has 10 boys, she'll probably do the same to all their wives. All you need is prayer and prayer and you really have to go out of your way to please her and avoid having any trouble with her. As per the wedding runs,i love night angel's suggestion,it sounds fair enough. |
Honestly,I think you should pray harder if the problem is spiritual. However,it may not even be a spiritual hold.Try and understand that she might be feeling lonely since she's a widow and her only child lives abroad, let her feel you guys anytime you are in town. On the issue of pastor and wedding dress color,i suggest you wear the color she wants i.e blue and let your mum discuss with her on the pastor thing, your pastor should join you guys together. |

davou4eva:Issey Miyake is the name of a fashion designer, not the name of a perfume . I guess you meant to say you love Issey Miyake perfumes. |

egoldman:Sounds like a good idea. . . I need you to shed more light on your suggestion, please. KayB:I don't mind making profit at a go,if that's possible. However, what I really want is more like a continuous thing,I want a business that will stand the test of time and yes,i'm going to be available. |
Hi everybody. I need suggestions urgently on what business I can do with 10,000 USD, something profitable in naija. Thanks. |
whatever eeya! abi o ! |
Johndada:You'll have only one camp commandant, the rest are platoon commanders. They'll not be very nice at first, don't get pissed off by their attitude as they'll change over time. You won't have much contact with the camp commandant, unless you are a very cool babe ![]() Don't let them notice you too much,go out when you hear the biggle, don't complain too much and don't form too much butter. Don't drag babe with camp commandant ![]() |
@ Candy, That was a very nice post,it certainly got me thinking. |
Aique:Can we see: 1. a copy of your admission letter or any other evidence? 2. your picture How can we be sure this is not advance fraud? I really wanna help but you can't just come to a forum like this and ask for financial assistance without proof that you are genuine. You don't sound very convincing. |
what Yorubas are the most educated tribe in naija, gbam!!!crucify me, but that's not debatable. |
wormedup:O mi GOD, I love seing them guys' bare butts, especially the well rounded(not too big and not feminine looking),I just can't stand seing tiny strings inside a guy's butt,it's will give the butts a funny look,I'd rather see it BARE! |
ruescho:That's a gentleman out there! There's nothing wrong with a guy taking care of his woman,na na na,if he can afford it and she's appreciative. My b/friend goes to the salon with me anytime he's not busy and he pays for my hair without me asking for it despite the fact that I am gainfully employed.Infact he chooses my styles most times . On the issue of frequency,I think three weeks is fine to change your style,I change mine every three weeks too.but buying hair every three weeks is expensive. She can get good quality extensions(more expensive but durable) that she can use more than once, all she needs to do is buy nice styles so she won't have the same look always and you won't have to buy all the time. She can also keep her natural hair once in a while, unless extensions are cheap over there, (they are really expensive where I live and I have to get mine from naija most times). |
I love my j'adore by christian dior, it's my all time fav. |
Let me start by saying NOBODY is above fashion mistakes, not even the celebrities that most people look up to! I totally agree with the guys that said what's fashionable today could be fashion mistake tomorrow. However, there are some all time fashion mistakes, they were never fashionable and they will never be.Here are a few tips to avoid falling victim: Ladies: Take good care of your nails, chipped nail polish only brings attention to poorly groomed nails. Choose the right undergarments. Push-up bras(the type that makes your boobs look like they are imprisoned) and overly tight bras(especially under a tight blouse) should be avoided. Also avoid showing panty lines,if you can't wear g-strings,wear seamless panties. Avoid shaving off all your eyebrows, you can give it nice shape, bushy eyebrows are not so cool, especially if you are hairy Avoid too much make-up,it makes u look like scarecrows. Avoid too much jewelry. Avoid ill fitting extensions, if you must use one, choose good colors,brown/blonde extensions(weave-ons)don't look nice on very dark skinned ladies. Gentlemen: Avoid wearing your church/office shoes on jeans(reminds me of this naija star, ogogo and his white and black shoe) Wear trousers that are long enough to cover you socks. Wear matching shoes and belts. Don't pull your trousers to the chin, it makes you look funny. Socks and sandals, was it ever right? Ladies and Gentlemen: Buy stuff that stands the test of time. choose colors that compliments your skin color. Do not bleach your skin, it's yucky. Please shave dem bushy armpits before the hair gets tangled. ![]() Don't over do trend. Look neat and clean. Know your body type, wear things that compliments your natural features. Never overdose on a single fabric. Avoid run down shoes, shoes are very very important. Dress for the occassion.Don't wear dinner gown to church or work. Seek second opinion. BE CREATIVE, Do not rely too heavily on trend, you may not pull it off. YOU CAN DICTATE THE TREND IF PEOPLE LIKE YOUR APPEARANCE! REMEMBER: SOME PEOPLE ARE BORN WITH STYLE,OTHERS HAVE TO WORK AT IT! |
yucky, I can't stand the sight of g-strings on a guy. It's not masculine,it's an instant turn off.Maybe I can stand the front view, but not the back view with his ass out! I wear them as a lady and it's really sexy on ladies but ridiculous on guys. |
Raymand, You said you hate Nigerian movies so much that you pirate their movies to bring down the industry.I do believe you know doing that makes you a CRIMINAL because it's illegal.Get real,be original,if you hate them that much, use the lil' coins you've made from pirating their work to make your own blockbuster instead of stealing their works. As for wether I love or hate naija movies, I like Naija movies, but I will not disprove the fact that they are often full of flaws. However,I believe there is a topic on the common flaws in Naija movies on this forum,so,I will take my complaints there. I watch them when i'm homesick and I derive pleasure in criticising them. |
babs787:Babs787, It takes the grace of God to read and understand the the word of God,hence,I will not blame you but I will attribute your arguements to a lack of understanding of the Bible, which you have clearly displayed here.I will repeat what others have said earlier, that the verse in question(LK 19:27) was part of the parable of the Noble man,and that the words were words of the noble man in the parable, not Jesus's,even though He (Jesus) told the parable. You said there's no apostrophe to indicate that it was said by someone else.Well, apostrophe is not used to indicate that someone said something, obviously you meant to say quotation mark. However, quotation mark was not used in the beginning or the end of the story as the Bible is not a text book on grammar Did you take time to read the story from the beginning,i.e from VS 12? It's so clear that Jesus was speaking in parable. If you read VS 14, you will realise that VS 27 refers to VS 14. LK 19:14 says:but his citizens hated him(the noble man),and sent a message after him, saying,We will not have this man to reign over us. LK 19:27 says:but those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me.I know you can see the correlation between the two verses, you are just being funny. Vs 28 is not part of the parable,if you read the red letter version where the words of Christ are written in red,you will realise that the parable of the Noble man ended in vs 27,so clearly,vs 28 is not part of the parable.I hope this answers your question.May the good Lord help your unbelieve(amen). |
eslynera:It's not weird at'all.Don't tell me you can't tell if two people are really kissing or just acting the part like they do in naija movies Kissing is in the eyes of the beholders . |
Tishana, you said we should stop being jealous of the boys/men.Jealousy my foot! The fact that some of us don't like what they are doing does not mean we are jealous of them. They suck real bad. They are not even funny, they just look funny acting as kids.I will appreciate their talents if they can act as adults that they are and crack jokes that will make people laugh not just stealing and being naughty. baby4u2:I agree with you on that note. The kids they use in Nigerian movies leaves me wondering where they get the kids from. They are so fake especially yoruba kids(i'm yoruba o,it's just an honest observation). They have a few real kids that are good but most are not good, really fake. But i read one of their interviews on the net, where they complained about the producers giving them lil' boy roles,it shows they are not the ones who choose to stick to the roles of mischevious lil' boys, they need money hence they can't reject the roles. But it's time our dear producers/directors realise some of us are sick and tired of Aki and Pawpaw's predictable mischevious roles! I don't hate them,i hate what they do 'cos they are so not funny and they make me sick. |

. But is we grow we got ashamed and coded it to 'timmy'
. I guess you meant to say you love Issey Miyake perfumes.
