Politics / Re: Top Nigerian Official Steals Camera In China. by cutey01(f): 4:16pm On Oct 20, 2008 |
First of all, I don't trust China when black people are involved--especially a Nigerian I also don't think they'll put CCTV in hotel rooms. The implication of this is that whatever event they showed the police and co. on the monitor was a coverage of the lobby and other open places and since they obviously didn't catch Mr. A stealing the camera in Mr. B's room, I have my reservations. If the CCTV camera actually caught Mr. A taking Mr. b's camera, I'm sure the investigation Prof. ordered wouldn't have been necessary. |

Dude doesn't love you, dude can't stand your sh*t, let him go! He'll come back when his new babe is out of town or having her period, you can wait. |

The guy obviously was looking for an excuse to dump you in the first place. Girls do worse things to guys who trully love them and they don't get kicked in the arse like that. Just leave him, let him go. If you stop calling him, chances are, he'll come begging, but don't get carried away when the time comes. Why don't you just move on honorably now? |

Are you sure you didn't impregnate Gbenga's girlfriend and you are worried because you know Gbenga is going to kick your a$$? |
Romance / Re: Please Advice Me ! by cutey01(f): 4:05pm On Oct 17, 2008 |
Don't tell me you're sleeping with her knowing fully well she's carrying Gbenga's baby, or are you? I suggest you all wait till she puts to bed, that way you all can decide what's best for you and the baby. In the meantime, be there for her as a friend, and nothing more. If she still wants prefers you to Gbenga after having the baby, then you can go for it. |

Culture / Re: Can You Mix English With Yoruba? by cutey01(f): 3:59pm On Oct 10, 2008 |
Sisikill:Honestly, this is very unusual. Mixing Yoruba with English comes to people naturally and like what Abojupupa said; you don't need a teacher to teach you the art of mixing. For instance, instead of saying "No, it has not jino-ed", most people would've simply said: "No, ko tii jina". If you had said that, I'm sure your mum wouldn't have complained. All Yorubas mix Youruba with English once in a while. |

Nairaland / General / Re: Who Is The Most Powerful And Respectful Blackman In The World? by cutey01(f): 2:59am On Oct 10, 2008 |
First of all, the title should say most "respected" black people not "respectful" Oprah and Mandela? No way! Nelson Mandela is way above Oprah's league. Oprah is rich, she's the most successful female talk show host in American TV history, but she doesn't have what it takes to be Nelson Mandela! Talking about respect, Oprah seem to hate Nigerians, so if we're voting, she'll lose the vote of most Nigerians. I do not respect her(but I guess my opinion doesn't count ). Powerful she is, but not so respected. |
