what is Niger delta, what commonalities does an urhobo, a benin or an itshekiri have with an ibibio, ikwerre, efik or even ogoni over an igbo man, who is not only a direct neighbour but shares cultural similarities... For the records, Abiriba people in Abia state today are a mixture of Ibibio and igbos.Also to note Aro-Ndizuogu in Imo state, Aro-Chukwu in Abia state, Aro-Ikot ekpene in Akwa ibom and Aro-Echie in river state are of the same descendant of the biblical Aroli(younger brother to Eri in Anambra state) who are all the children of Gad who is also the first son of Jacob, that is why you see Arochukwu people and ikot ekpene people wear the same dress and their men tie wrapper. igbos and efiks shared the Nsibiri writings, the ekpo festival in some parts of igbo land originated from the efiks, the igbos,ijaws and ibibios all worship Amadioha and were always going for pilgrimage in Arochuwku all before the white man came and all through our history, there has never been a case of enslavement or fighting rather we traded with our neighbors, lived peacefully and intermarried ourselves. I want someone to tell me something similar that had happened like that in the so called identity crisis suffering Niger delta....An ibibio man jumped over the whole of igboland in southeast all the way down to benin, itshekiri,urhrobo and became Niger delta and one people..yeye dey smell.... Ur forgetting one thing, igbos are minorities in the Niger delta like the rest of the tribes there, so they don't own Niger delta. and all this tribes don't share the same ideology with the igbos, when they really gather together and become united in the in a course, the little Igbo sub groups there will do nothing. They will have no ally in the Niger delta, they will have to join the other tribes and fight for the same course, or move back to the south east and be with their brothers.

And this has become ur new national anthem lately.

They too are now funding, supporting, sponsoring, campaigning calling for self determination of both Palestinian western Sahara and Biafra, they said Biafra case too should be treated equal. The UN, AU,ECOWAS trestie that Nigeria is a signatory to allow self determination through referendum. When ECOWAS court want to use that to rule in favour of Nnamdi kanu, Nigeria threatened to evict and stop funding ECOWAS, Morocco decided to leave north america and apply for ECOWAS member so he can accommodate and fund ECOWAS with isreal if Nigeria government do otherwise. ECOWAS can not abandoned thier treaties BC of Nigeria, Nigeria accepted to release Nnamdi kanu to avoid ECOWAS doing that by ruling in favour of nnamdi kanu and ipob, but vow never to allow referendum. why do u think Morocco's application to join ECOWAS was accepted by ECOWAS head of state last two week, why do u think all ECOWAS countries are supporting Biafra except president Baro of the Gambia, why do u think Israeli prime minister visited ECOWAS head of state in their last meeting. Why do u thing Nigeria and the Gambia boycotted the meeting for the first time since the history of ECOWAS. OBJ went there on his own to beg. Why do u thing OBJ adviced fg to beg agitators at yaradua center. Look ignorance of APC and PMB, thier unpreparedness to power,and injustice in Nigeria is what is destroying Nigeria today not Nnamdi kanu or IPOB. I am One of people who disagreed on this issue of boycolting election but i later join him after understanding the power of civil disobedient on our last "sit at home" excercise. i wonder why people cannot see that "civil disobedience" is a great and effective tool for agitation especially when agitating on a separate republic. How can you be agitating for a separate country and at the same time still go ahead to vote someone who will swear on oath to abide by the rules and constitution and to uphold the unity of that country?. For crying out loud incase you thinks, Nnamdikanu is taking it too far as extremist, he has never ask us to carry arms yet, though we may need arms if Nigeria govt push us to that but for now, we are still on civil disobedience to excercise our fudamental human rights. Remember those hausas and yorubas who are calling you sense-less fools by trying to boycolt election will still come out oneday of your agitations to tell or ask you, "no be you vote your representatives in election?. For those who are saying whether we participated or not, there gonna-be an emerging winner at the end of voting excercise even if it is only one person that voted, who cares naa?. At least there's 25% electoral turn-up expected and it is a must for every winner in Zoo electoral system which we are gonna deny them that day. 18 November is D-day in Anambra state gubernatorial election abi selection, We will boycolt and girlcolt everything boycoltable. In my own opinion, the enemy of Ndigbo is Ndigbo itself. I remember a time in this country when all the 6 ministers in Jonathan's kitchen cabinet were all Igbo's. Ayim Pius Ayim was SGF, Ngozi Okonjo Iwealla was in charge finance, Emeka Wogu was in Labour and productivity, Berth Nnaji was in Power and Energy, Dieziani Madueke was the powerful minister for oil. The 6 of them outside the Federal Executive Council would meet and decide what and what not to be discussed at the larger FEC. Whatever they decided would eventually be d position of government. In 6 years, this was the situation. Okiro and Onovo had the police under their control. Ihejerika and later Minimah controlled the Army. These powerful Igbo's could do and undo. Nigeria was in their pockets.

Rather than care about the poor Igbo chaps scattered all over the country, they were busy diverting billions of naira into their accounts at home and abroad. The 2nd Niger Bridge, they didn't do. They shared the money. The Lagos/Calabar rail lines passing through 9 States, 3 of them in the South East, they were not bothered. They refused to pay the Chinese d Counter part fund. They shared d money. Enugu/Onitsha, Aba/PH and other roads of economic importance to their fellow Igbo's, they abandoned.

Who is to blame? Who is marginalising d Igbo's?

You had your chance, you bungled it. There was only 1 Yoruba minister worth mentioning at the time, Akinwunmi Adesina. He was in Agric. His budget was less than 1% while Emeka Wogu in Labor had over 10% for his ministry, Ayim had unlimited access to the treasury for the benefit of himself and family members. The poor Igbo guys meant nothing to him. If an Igbo becomes President tomorrow after Jonathan, will there be any difference?

No...The Igbo man will marginalise his fellow Igbo people.

By this, if Biafrans are still waiting for Nigeria government to fix and announce a date for Biafra referendum, IPOB may be wasting their time and lingering on a mirage that can never happen till eternity, after all Nigeria government did not fix May 30th Sit at Home for IPOB but it was complied with and was successful.

As it has become obvious that Nigeria government is buying more time for herself due to IPOB continuous waiting for her to announce date for Biafra referendum, it is time for IPOB Highest Command to stop waiting on a mirage but take the bull by the horn by fixing and announcing a date for Biafra referendum by itself to the world.

According to the international protocols and relevant conventions guiding procedures for conduct of any referendum which I consulted and researched before coming up with this opinion, an Indigenous govt or Customary govt of Indigenous people such as IPOB Directorate which already has the total command and loyalty of the people has right to organize a referendum to test the political desire of its people, if the colonial kept occupational govt like Nigeria refused to organize such referendum when called upon to do so.

It is in history that there was Customary govt structure of confederacies in Biafraland headed by Kings and local Chiefs, but were destroyed completely before 1904 by British govt and established colonial administration in Biafraland. It is that same govt which Lord Lugard and his team of invaders destroyed in 1904 that IPOB Directorate of State headed by Mazi Chika Edoziem had restored.

know that this Indigenous govt of the people known as IPOB Directorate has waited on the colonial occupational Nigeria govt to announce date for the said referendum, so that these indigenous people of Biafra will chose via referendum whether to remain in colonial arrangement or decide to return the sovereignty of their territory lost to the colonnial invaders in 1904 Southern Protectorate arrangement.

It is upon these corresponding realities, that I hereby call on IPOB Directorate of State to apply the above mentioned protocol empowering Indigenous govt of the people by announcing the date of its choice for Biafra referendum since Nigeria occupational government has refused to do that since years ago of notice.

It is important to understand that it was this right exercisable by Indigenous govt that empowered Catalonia Self-Determination govt to announce Catalonia referendum for October 1, 2017 without Spain.

If IPOB Highest Command fix the date of the referendum, it will announce it to the world, gazette it to relevant Biafra Indigenous govt gazettes and begin to notify without delay all relevant world powers and international organizations. We cannot continue to pursue a black rat in the night. Restructuring is an apparition, always sounding real, never within reach. It is an exquisite idea that can be likened to a mirage - always conceptualized, yet corporally nonexistent.

If the Biafra agitation were spearheaded by a politician, it would have died. We do not need any governor or politician to tell us what is good for our children. We, the youths in South-South, must wake up from our slumber. We should ask ourselves how old the President of France is. For how long will the youths down South be seen and treated as apparatchiks to politicians? The politicians that kick against secession and Biafra are the ones that use our youths as their underemployed sidekicks. It is time to take the lead.

How old is Mazi Nnamdi Kanu? Is he not a youth? Yet he is more recognized by the global communities for doing what his elders feared. The youths must take the lead. We cannot continue to believe in our political leaders most of whom do not feel our pains. I have decided to work for my unborn children. #Nobody_will_give_us_restructuring.

THE SOUTH-SOUTH THAT CLAIMS NOT TO BE BIAFRA WHAT WHERE U BEFORE THE POLITICAL CREATION OF SOUTH-SOUTH? Can we ask ourselves: If they did not allow #company_headquarters_to_relocate_to_the_South-South, is it restructuring that will fly? One has to, first, agree that Nigeria was conceived and created for us before he can talk about restructuring. It is only those that want to be politically correct that will say they do not know that Nigeria is a gift from Lord Lugard to the North.

The Constitution we use is an Armed Forces Ruling Council (AFRC) document, a product of DE FACTO GOVERNMENT. Can restructuring obviate the horrendous origin and constitution?

Some dismiss the outburst by Arewa Youths and Elders, but we have forgot that none of those dismissing it could stop the killings in Southern Kaduna, the killing of two preachers in the North, the unjust detention of political and religious prisoners, the criminal allocation of over 200 billion to North Central in our budget, the gory extermination of a man who urinated several meters from a mosque etc. Who is that governor, cleric, politician that is giving you hope? Where was he or she when Buhari almost Islamized Nigeria? Hummm

Our Nigeria acting President is a Pastor right? What is he and What is that selfish mediator from the East and South doing about the proposed proliferation of our elementary and high schools with the Quran? Was he or she comatose when plans to remove CRS from the curriculum of schools was nursed and hatched?
My stand for secession is unshakable. Restructuring will not fly, but even if it does, it will not be total. Shall we continue to be at the mercy of the Futa Jalons? Shall we continue to hate our friend and love our enemy? Shall we continue to begrudge our Igbo brothers and sisters with whom we share #cultural and #religious ties? When will it dawn on us down South that unity with our brothers in the East is the fastest route out of this problem? Funny enough, some of us are well read to know that historical accounts are both specious and true, depending on the intended purpose of the narrator; yet, we swallow every negative account about the Igbo hook, line, and sinker. What exactly has this unfounded malicious disposition towards the Igbo done for Niger Delta? Has it halted the predatory activities of the Futa Jalons concerning our natural resource? Has distancing ourselves from everything Igbo returned the administration and control of our oil and gas to us? The Northern people daily mock the South-South because we claim to be wise by always saying we are not Igbo and the divide and rule strategy is milking us daily!

WHY THERE SHALL BE NO ELECTION IN ANAMBRA STATE AND BIAFRA LAND AGAIN.

In this struggle, the political system in Biafra land can never remain the same. There must be a radical departure from what we have today.

We cannot be asking for Biafra and at the same time be participating in elections. What signal/ message are we then sending to the international community and even to our enemies, both in Nigeria and Biafra land?

Biafrans, it's evidently clear and fundamentally sacrosanct that International legal requirement provide among others that civil disobedience include right to vote and to be voted for. Even Nigeria constitution gives credence to it. Same is called franchise. It's our duty to exercise this right of franchise in any way we want.

We, therefore, need to change the status quo in Biafra land, in order to cause constitutional crisis that will generate political convolution.

This constitutional crisis and political convolution will push the Nigeria government, intellectuals, academia, political analyst and opinion moulders into debate that would move them to look at the Biafra freedom from another level.

This level will invariably motivate Nigeria state to conduct referendum for Biafra people. Yes, it's our right. It's our inalienable right. God given right, and no body will take it away from us.

Fight on, my people, fight on. We are getting there. Victory shall be ours in Jesus name. Amen.
