TravelRe: How Come Nigerians Don’t Japa To Cape Verde? (Pics) by cutieme(m): 10:12am On Jul 17
RightToReject:
If only you knew the huge number of Nigerians who were living in Cape Verde before some incidents that happened in late 2005 that changed a whole lot of things. Even at that, there are still relatively a good number of Nigerians living there presently.

And don't allow some "beautiful photos from small island markets" to deceive you, because there have always been severe resource limitations there. A whole lot of Cape Verdeans live in some West African countries like Senegal, Cote d'Ivoire, etc., "hustling."
Hi please can you share what really happened?

TravelRe: Life In Vietnam As A Nigerian by cutieme(m): 4:23pm On Jul 01

In all sincerity they don’t give tourist visas to Nigerians
Either you come in via work visa or study visa
Okay,so you went with work visa or what please?
TravelRe: Life In Vietnam As A Nigerian by cutieme(m): 11:23am On Jun 30

1. When it rains in Vietnam, there is usually traffic jam — but not the kind where everything stops. Traffic keeps moving. Almost everyone carries a raincoat on their bike because the rain can come unexpectedly, especially during the rainy season. One thing I find amazing though is that most times the rain doesn’t last very long lol.

2. One of the dishes I love so much here is called bánh mì xíu mại — basically bread served with eggs and meatballs. Simple combo but very tasty.

3. Football stadium in Vietnam. If you love playing football, this is the place to be because people here love football so much — both young and old. You can easily find a team to play with. The downside though is that most football fields are privately owned, so you usually have to pay to play.

4. A random movie theatre inside a mall. There are so many malls around the city, so if you enjoy going to the cinema, Vietnam has plenty of options. You can book online, come to the mall, and enjoy your movie. They also sell snacks and drinks to keep you refreshed throughout the movie lol.
Can you share how one could get the visa please?
TravelRe: Life In Vietnam As A Nigerian by cutieme(m): 9:37pm On Jun 29
Blackvietnamese:
Good day everyone,

I decided to open this thread to share life in Vietnam and show what everyday life here actually looks like.

A lot of people hear about Vietnam but don’t really know much about the country beyond random videos online, so I thought it would be interesting to document things from my own perspective.

How do one come over please?
In this thread, I’ll be posting things like:

• Roads and infrastructure
• Food and supermarket prices
• Street life and daily activities
• Houses and apartments
• Transportation
• Local culture and lifestyle
• Beautiful places and random photos
• Cost of living compared with Nigeria
• Education and opportunities
• Things I find surprising or interesting

I’ll also answer questions where I can.

From time to time, I’ll drop photos and small updates.

If there’s anything specific you want to see (markets, restaurants, schools, neighborhoods, transport, etc.), mention it and I’ll try to post it.

Welcome to Vietnam 🇻🇳

Don't let your poor academic result ( low 2.2, 3rd class or Pass) discourage you from Brazil study quest.

Someone with pass have been able to secure admission into a good program/school.

What is important is to have a well packaged profile that meets the program's requirements.
Can you guide one on how to go about this please?

2nd cycle admission(2026.2) with resumption by August, 2026 are already kicking off. Make your move now
Please how do one go about this?

nwadikeokey11:
I know this is not travel section but due to the urgency of this matter I had to rush in here to see if I can get help from more experienced people. My son is traveling to the UK today for his degree program, in Newcastle University, his flight is 3pm today, but the problem we are having now is this. He contacted the school since last week and told them he would want to rent the school hostel, as he would be staying in hostel, they asked him when he would be coming and he told them today, but up until now they are yet to allocate any hostel to him neither have they sent him any account to pay for the hostel, they keep telling him that hostel is not ready yet. He's resuming his studies on the 19th, Monday next week . Now I want to know, hope he won't have any issues with the immigration at the point of entry in the UK? He's living the house for the airport now, please I need an urgent response from those who knows. Thanks.
Hello sir ,good evening,my name is Martin , please I'd like to contact you over similar travelling issues ,can I have like your contact or email address through which I can reach you?

sweerychick:
Lol bro forget it. Don't be deceived by the beautiful beaches, and islands, Caribbean countries is a no no for Africans, first of it's very expensive, when I mean expensive I mean you need nothing less than $1k a month to survive their, secondly they're not friendly with Africans especially with west Africans, they believe yo mofos sold them into slavery, because of the west indies people. Thirdly there are limited jobs there exclusively for western citizens and Chinese,
its great for vacation but not for Japa, you ask me I've been to Barbados before and they Dominican republic.. If you want to Japa, look for smaller island African countries like, Seychelles or Afro asian island country like the Maldives
Why are you suggesting Seychelles and Maldives?

It all depends on your motive. "Hustling " in another African country may not be too easy. For me, my Europe is Ethiopia. I'm enjoying every bit of my stay here and I have met a couple of legit Nigerians that are doing well for themselves. Just make sure you have correct documents. BTW, I am an English Language teacher.
Bro how can I contact you, please?
