I wish to advice you before you are mislead. There is no hustling here in Vietnam apart from Drugs, Scam or doing bussines. Toeing the line of drug or scam is as worst as being dead. There is no job in Vietnam for foreigners except English teaching jobs. Vietnam has passed a new immigration law which added to the required documents one need to have as a non Native English speakers. Before you are allowed to work as a teacher, you need to have a valid work permit, have a decent accent and have experience of asia ways of teaching. To find teaching jobs now as black man is very hard. You can not work on a student visa, Tourist visa and the likes without a valid work permit. The minimum amount paid to Non Native speaker is from $800 which is $8 per hour times 100 hours a month. If you have bussines in Nigeria, you can come on 3 month bussines visa and be shipping goods from here to Nigeria. Tourist Visa for Nigeria is no more obtainable. This information i gave you now is as fresh as early morning palm wine which you can make more enquires on your own. I base there and that is why i took out time to advise you properly before you make a mistake and started cursing your agent. You are free to ask any question you wish and i will answer you here. I'd advice you move to osogbo instead, I've lived in both states and I can tell you that the cost of living in Akure is too expensive, foods are very expensive, they hardly have light. Go to osogbo, you'll love the atmosphere, very quiet without gbas gbos, and the light there is better than any state in South West.

Today I tender My Resignation From The Nigeria Police

My name is pc Ukwu Chiemezie. I was enlisted into the Nigeria Police on the 1/2/2018, prior to joining the Nigeria Police I was working at a warehouse in Lagos earning at least N5000 a day but for the sake of my future I decided to apply to be recruited into the Nigeria Police Force.
After all the screening exercises I was enlisted and to move to training college within a week. We had 6 months training after that we pass out and I was posted to Anambra State. I started working in Anambra without accomodation. I had to took a N60,000 loan from my brother to rent a one room apartment.
I worked for 4 months before we were paid together with the areas.
Federal Government paid me N45,000 monthly so I was paid N180,000 for the four months.Out of this I paid my brother the loan of N50,000 I got from him. I used the rest to purchase furniture for the room.
Do you believe that since that first payment I have not been able to buy anything again?
Monthly salary of N45,000 is equal to a daily salary of N1500
Out of the N1500 since l am at work most of the time, I worked 12hours everyday. There are some officers that work for 24hours. So because of this I eat outside most of the time.
A plate of food is N400 times 3 square meals is N1200 and the remaining N300 is what I used for transportation.
That's how I spent the daily N1500 Federal Government is paying me. Nothing remain to buy drink like other Nigerians, nothing to buy uniform as we are not being given. Nothing to save. Or even for hospital if I am sick, not to talk of assisting my family and friends.
I was doing better when I was working in a warehouse earning N5000 daily or more occasionally.

Nigerian Police is the worst paid security organisation in the whole of Africa with little or no pension.
As I'm writing now I'm owning my landlord 2 years rent. Where will I get the money?
You can only survive in the police force through corruption. If you refused to be corrupt you will pass through financial hell.
The government had left police on the mercy of corruption.
Every police officer in Nigeria is on psychological strike.
There can never be a better security in Nigeria with this treatment mated out to them.

I had three option and I have chosen one

Option 1
To be corrupt so as to be able to meet up my financial obligations

Option 2
To be attached to a politician so as to become his/her house boy in other to get tokens from them

Option 3
To resign from the work.

I have taken option 3 and have said bye bye to a job that I cannot pay my house rent or go to the hospital if I am sick.

I've dated 2 none Nigerian African girls. One a South African (now an ex) and the other a Tanzanian girl (the one I really want to marry). So far, They're both sweet in their respective ways but the only challenge I'm facing right now is how to get married to the Tanzanian girl and reside in her country with her because of her job which we both agreed she should keep.

Her country has a very strict law for immigrants and have Nigeria on her blacklist. Meaning people from here are required to come to Tanzania only through referral visa or what we call 'visa by invitation'. Ignatius Ajiru University. They are very fast. I started the program in April and just finished 2nd semester exams. I'm done with course work and all that is left is my project then I roll over into the M.sc program. I most admit that it's expensive. Tution is #145k and so far I have spent over #300k. But no regrets because they are fast here unlike the overrated uniport that you would spend 2-3 years doing the same program

My encouragement woul be the way I have encouraged myself. I work in a school we're most of my colleagues have 2.1,2.2 and even Masters. My principal is on a PHD program and her salary isn't far from mine. So why my worries after all. I'm doing a PGd program and most of my colleagues are working in Federal and state agencies and even banks. One is working in NLG with the same 3rd class. So I told myself with the right placement your certificates don't matter. So any one who is telling me I can't work in a good place because of my result just don't want to help.

I graduated with a 3rd class in Chemistry from three years ago (I only blame myself for that) and after I finished my NYSC a year ago I just plunged into a depressive state in regards to my mistake (my education) and my future (career) sometimes breaking down in tears when I think of things I've taken for granted in my life.

I started working on myself a few months ago and I've made some progress I proud of but every now and then it's easy to be overwhelmed with self doubt.
I made a cv without work experience along with a cover letter a few days ago and applied for a few entry level jobs like graduate intern, sales, restaurant supervisor etc via jobberman and the companies email but I'm not too sure I'll be getting any calls from them.

Can I do a pgd in chemical engineering or just chemistry or pursue a business or computer/tech course, are there jobs I can get with my degree maybe to get skills and work experience?
