Ghana have never been a choice of destination. Infact Nigeria is the best country when it comes to food cost as well as Asian.. If you want to enjoy Japa enter Asian countries but have a strategic plan ahead. Such as school in South Korea or Japan. Teaching in Thailand or Indonesia and Vietnam

they will never understand, life is a teacher and only those who are attentive and smart will pick up the lessons, the success lessons of life aren't for everyone. i don't even think i can live in USA or all those countries. why will i be wasting my life away in those places when i can live the life of my dreams at a cheaper cost in other places and still have a very large chance of becoming a celebrity? there is a very good reason why davido ,tiwa, naira Marley alll came back to Naija. to me, abroad and western nations is for those who just want to live an average life and become just one of the crowd, but if your dreams and aspirations are above that, then you must think out of the box. As a lady, the best bet is to invest in it and wait for your daily returns. The time at your disposal can be used for other things. For instance if you are a Stylist, you can start doing something to increase your income. Having multiple sources of income is a good start.

On work visas, things are a bit slow now. No one understands the way the Vietnamese government works.

But I can tell you one thing, the demand is still huge! Infact, it's a teacher's market now and I can confidently tell you the going rate now even for new comers is about 17.5 USD to 25.5 USD.

I kid you not. Just make sure you're surrounded by good people who will guide you and give you pointers.

The same way the rate is increasing, is the same way the criterias are increasing.

It's good that many of you have now gotten your TEFL certificates, kuddos. you're one step closer.

For renewal purposes, you may need to write IELTS or other cheaper alternatives. IELTS in itself is cheap here cos ofcourse, yoou'll be earning in their currency. This criteria also depends on who (company) helping you renew your visa. Chances are, by the time your current visa expires, your current employee would help with renewing either bearing 100% cost of splitting with you at an agreed ratio.

Please be careful out there. Tourist visa and "visa on arrival" is not available to people with African passport. Don't confuse this with Visa vignette on arrival.

For now, you can get a company to sponsor you on a one year visa though difficult right now. I heard someone mention he was able to get a 3 months deal to be converted to one year on arrival. I hope it's a real deal.

If you get this deal though, try and push for one year instead to avoid paying double! Just pay for the one year straight

I mentioned this at the beginning of this thread but it's probably lost in the midst of lots of communications so I'll say it again.....

Visa isn't more than $100 but agents from Naija will charge up to N500,000 (1-3 months maximum) to give u just Tourist visa not residency. On your own, u need a sponsor.

So, if while inside Bahrain u pay for the actual residency, it is better.

House isn't cheap so u live in hostel mostly(70 bhd hostels...170bhd: studio.... minimum for both)

To get residency is about 740 bhd (1bhd to $2.65) for which u can do much more....So, he needs to hold enough Incase he needs to switch to residency instead of returning.

It is a good thing to search for help especially when you've tried somethings. However, I must say freelancing can be a full time job if you put in the work. Upwork is an excellent platform to use. Average clients pay like 20$ per 1000 words which is about 12k in black market. Imagine you write about 20 a month that will be 240k.

Don't give up on Upwork and keep applying as best as you can while you open your eyes to offline jobs. I wish you the best.
