Hello Guys. Am here again with another problem or should i say challenge.


I use a Lenovo ThinkPad X61s Laptop which has a fingerprint sensor/reader.


The problem is am unable to use it despite updating the biometric co-processor.

TouchChip Biometric co-processor was installed after the update. I also downloaded the fingerprint software
* ThinkVantage Fingerprint Manager
* Lenovo Fingerprint Manager


The ThinkVantage fingerprint app does not show any progress during the enrolment process. While the Lenovo fingerprint manager pops up an error message when launched " no fingerprint sensor was detected, make sure the fingerprint sensor is correctly configured"



Note that i've enabled fingerprint authentication from bios setup utility.






What do i do?
Am not the type that runs from a challenge.
