Believe it or not, the fact is that no body will be bring to justice in the relation this violence, so many things have be done in north, lacks of jobs, illeteracy, in fact lack of basic aminities with countless jobless youths doing nothing, what do you expect ? As long as no any serious and tangible progressive action by the politicians to do something to these youths, don't expect anything from them except violence because they know their people betray them, while due to majority of them lack education they don't how to protest without violence. However, it very clear that these youths they make their regrettable and henious act without anybody telling to, infact the abuse, burn and kill anyone including the attempt to kill the politicians in their region, these youths needs education and jobs period. In the case of bringing the culprits to justice ? Really the government should really do something on that, but one thing for sure I know government CAN NEVER succeed is the clear and plain truth that over 1000 of Muslims have been Killed and buried in mass burial in southern Kaduna by organized armed men of CAN. So now who the government will bring to justice  ? Many questions remain unanswered. |

He questioned Washington's claim that bin Laden was killed by American troops in a hiding compound in Pakistan on May 1. “If the US military and intelligence apparatus have really arrested or killed bin Laden, why don't they show him (his dead body) why have they thrown his corpse into the sea?” Moslehi asked. “When we apprehended [former Jundallah ringleader Abdul Malik] Rigi, we showed him and also aired his interview,” ISNA quoted the intelligence chief as saying. By releasing such false news, he said, the White House seeks to overshadow regional awakening. Moslehi said US officials resort to such PR campaigns to divert attention from their domestic problems as well as their “fragile” economic situation. US President Barack Obama claimed that Osama bin Laden was killed by US forces on May 1 in a hiding compound in Pakistan. A US official later announced that bin Laden's body was abruptly buried at sea, falsely boasting that his hasty burial was in accordance with the Islamic law, requiring burial within 24 hours of death. However, burial at sea is not an Islamic practice and Islam does not have a timeframe for burial. US officials also claimed their decision for a sea burial was made because no country would accept bin Laden's remains, without elaborating on which countries were actually contacted on the matter. Analysts, however, have raised serious questions as to why US officials did not allow for the application of a DNA test to officially confirm the identity of the corpse before its hasty burial. Al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden died almost a decade ago after spending some time in a US hospital in Dubai, a former US Treasury official has told Press TV. “FoxNews, which is the American neo-conservative, very, very conservative, very patriotic media station, reported in December of 2001 that the Taliban have announced that bin Laden had died,” said Paul Craig Roberts, former Assistant Secretary of the US Treasury. “It's well known that bin Laden suffered from kidney disease, he requires dialysis. It's less well known that he had a genetic disease that does not allow a long life,” Roberts told Press TV. He said at the time bin Laden was still an American agent and he was visited in a US hospital in Dubai in 2001, before the September 11, 2001 attacks. “Bin Laden was visited in the American hospital in Dubai -- I believe, in July of 2001 -- by the CIA physicians," he said, adding that bin Laden "was created by the Americans to fight Soviets in Afghanistan.” US President Barack Obama claimed that bin Laden was killed by US forces on May 1 in a hiding compound in Pakistan, resisting while unarmed. |

Untold Story. For some of you who really have close relatives in Kaduna, and whom will not hide things to you, please ask them about the untold and never reported massacre killing of Muslims in Southern Kaduna in the recent crisis. They fact is that over 500 Muslims have been killed in those towns, they also killed large number of passengers coming back from the south trying to pass through kaduna. Last I heard from bbc, one muslim described that he witnessed the burial of over 200 Muslims in a mass grave (mostly passengers and Muslims living Christian cities around southern kaduna. Its pity, mind you muslims heard this all over the North, it really happened, it was quite unfortunate, I personally do not and will never support killing of innocent people be it Christians or Muslims, but found this forum quite disappointing, all you can read from this forum is lies and exaggerated stories everywhere, bashing and abusive and some time misquoting religious verses to support ones selfish interest, and believe me some of these words somebody can never say it on you face to face. The fact is that, so much people have been killed in the north during this crisis, BELIEVE IT OR NOT, if you can get all the number of the victims, the majority are Muslims, which I know some of the ignorant here in Nairaland would find it difficult to believe simple because they either hate Muslims 200%, or are not even living in Nigeria, or they simply hate anything Islam, hausa/fulani etc. Hoping to find some honest people around southern kaduna who can really tell you how they slaughter Muslim womens and children and throw them into the well. Many eye witness have confirmed this, so as long as Nigeria will be one, the killing from both side must be stop, else as some suggest it will be better to split it leaving south with Americans who will definitely install a puppet president or else instigate tribal war, infact I proved to the world they can stop at nothing when it comes to oil. As some of you might know, real northerners wouldn't mind splitting simply because they are presently surviving without benefiting from it, all we know is that some few elites/politicians from north benefits from the budget with some few project for the states here and there. Countless countries are surviving without oil simply importing it to their country, which I believe the north can afford that. Nevertheless, Muslims in the north will never forget the history of massacres of Muslims in: Zangon Kataf, Kafanchan, Jos etc. The worse case scenario is that if the politicians will keep on telling people lies, and the youth will never get educated, wandering around without anything to do, expect more of these to come, that's the fact, because majority of these un-educated youths in the north have reached the level of not even ready to listen to anybody, I repeat anybody, whoever tell you there is a single body controlling these youths, he is deceiving you and it is a lie, they abuse, burn down houses of imams and malams supporting pdp, (ask people in kaduna to confirm), emirs's place (kano), many were killed while in the process of burning down the emir of Zaria's place, we already know some key pdp politicians who will never ever try to visit their home own or their community may be except with extreme security cover. All I know is that some of these uncontrolled youths use this opportunity of course to cause mayhem brutal killing of innocent Christians, corpers, and burn churches, its quite unfortunate, there is no a single honest educated and God fearing Northerner supporting this, am not saying you have to be believe me on this, if you don't to hell with you, i don't care, I just have to tell the facts on the ground being a person who really know how these youth think based on what is on the ground and what is going on in the Northern Nigerian politics. Meet 28-year-old ‘rocket inventor’ Sunday, 20 March 2011 00:00 Christiana T. Alabi, Kaduna Two solid-fuelrockers launchedby ShehuBalami in Kaduna Since year 2000 when he was still in secondary school, 28 year old Shehu Balami, a graduate of Mechanical Engineering from Federal University of Technology (FUT) Minna has been researching into rocketry trying to make rocket that will fly, although he initially made many smaller models that instead of flying, exploded due to very low power and lack of enough thrust to drive the rocket. He said that after making the smaller models that, he started making some horizontal tests produced enough power to drive the rocket and it was then he started to believe that he could actually make a rocket that can fly. “My family especially my mother encouraged me to continue even when the rockets were not flying,” he said. “The first successful rocket I made that flew was to demonstrate before my work project was titled “Design and construction of an amateur solid propellant rocket” after producing it, it flew and that was how i eventually got it in 2008,” he stressed, adding that, the project was the best in his department in year 2008. In February, 2011, the young-engineer apart from the rocket he produced as his project work, he invented and launched two solid-fuel rockets along the new Kaduna Millennium City road in Kaduna state. Speaking at the site of the launching, Balami explained that he started working on the rockets since February, 2010, and had wanted to launch them in October, 2010 to celebrate Nigeria at 50 but could not because of financial constraints. He said that was the reason for designing the rockets in Nigeria national col-our: green white green. He disclosed that he developed interest in rocketry since he was a child not only with the aim of building them but to enable him build space satellite for Nigeria in the future. “I have a special passion for anything that flies be it aeroplane or rocket and that was the reason why I started researching into rocketry, and in fact it informs the choice of my project topic in the university,” he stated. The two rockets Balami launched flew impressively well into the space at normal speed but could not reach the calculated distance of 1.3 Km due he identified as scarcity of unadulterated materials in the local market. “The rockets I launched did not reach the calculated height of 1.3km, it could be from the potassium nitrate which I suspected might have been adulterated because I did not change the mixture i used for the previous ones that flew well,” he added. The rockets numbers are J03 and J04, explaining that the ‘J’ stands for his mother’s name Jummai because of her contributions and encouragement towards the realization of his dream and aspiration of inventing a rocket that could fly. According to him the components of rocket include: fuel (potassium nitrate, sulphur, and carbon), mild steel for the casing, the fins were also made of mild steel while the nose was made of plaster of Paris (POP). The calculated speed of the rocket was 660km/h, takeoff weight – approximately 1kg, propelling weight for the first one was 344 grams while that of the second was 364 grams. The engine length according to him was 300mm while the outside diameter was 4.8cm. On how he gets funding to produce the rockets, he said he has been getting support from his friends and family members. He said the first rocket he produced in 2008 that flew cost him about 10,000 naira only, but the two he launched in February, 2011 cost him approximately 30,000 naira each adding that he used hundred percent local contents. He said he was able to invent the solid-fuel rocket with the support from his friends under the auspices of Movement for the Propagation of Science and Technology in Nigeria, a group which comprises friends with interest in science and technology. “Our aim is to create awareness on the practical application of what is learnt in school for the development of the society. The group started from the university when, we delivered lectures to students on science and technology from jet and, rocket engines to electric circuit. The name of the group in school was Passion for the Application of Engineering and Technological research Information (PAETRI),” he explained. He said their movement had written letters to the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) and National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA) but is yet to get response. He explained that, the rocket is a vehicle that uses engine proportionately so that it can to convey equipments and satellites to space and also assist the take-off of heavy aircraft. It has a military application and it can carry a war-head and in that case it is called a missile. He lamented Nigeria’s reliance on advanced countries to send her satellite into the space due to lack of conducive atmosphere for indigenous talented inventors to strive in the country after 50 year of independence, noting that there is need for the federal government to recognize and provide conducive atmosphere for scientists and technologists if it wishes to attain the desired vision 20:2020. “If government pays attention to local scientists and technologists and supports them financially, with this kind of invention I just launched, I believe strongly that one day we will be able to build our own satellite or the engine that will take the satellite to the space and save Nigeria a lot of money,” Balami stressed. Engineer Balami said that he has also started researches in building of Remote Controlled Aircraft, which he intends to go into immediately after the launching of his rocket. @ Slyr0x, With due respect and appreciation, as I always cherish and support your "ethical" activities here in Nairaland, especially supporting and helping our young web developers in protecting and hardening the security of their sites by free security checks, which to my knowledge it can be only done by real cyber samaritan. Your last post regarding Ankit Fadia is partially wrong I quote "He is one of the renowned EH India has eva produced", it only take one to be in Mumbai or attend one of his seminar here in India to find out the truth, actually he got what he want which is of course the publicity. However, to me the difference between you (Slyr0x) and Fadia is the number of books he published, but believe me several times Pakistan hackers proved him wrong, and of course here in India too so many unnoticed (shadowed) hackers always laugh at the way Fadia showing himself and boosting his capability in media. Cocaine weighing 305 grams, valued at Rs 12.2 lakh, was seized from the accused.
