moscobabs: it happened to me last year I withdrew the money from Ecobank fagba lagos,the guy that attended to me understand, and he just put the #500 into my withrawer Note to avoid been seeing by the fine chic behind me.then I asked the guy why he refused to display my money...he said guy haa u funny dont u see pretty girl at your back ni? The police in Lagos State have arrested a 22-year-old man, Musa Ojo, for armed robbery.

PUNCH Metro learnt that the suspect was among the prison inmates recently pardoned by the state government in pursuant to the provisions of Section 1(1) of the Criminal Justice Release from Custody Special Provision Act, CAP C40, 2007, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria.

It was learnt that a few weeks after his release, the suspect, who goes by the pseudonym, Agba Musa, and two others at large, on September 14, 2013, snatched a Toyota Corolla car marked LSR 587 AR.

Our correspondent learnt that operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, who were on patrol duty at the Ijesha end of Oshodi-Apapa Expressway, sighted the robbers and chased them.

Police said when the heat became too much for the robbers, they jumped out of the vehicle and took to their heels.

Musa was, however, arrested by SARS men and the vehicle was recovered, while the other two escaped.

Speaking with our correspondent at the state command headquarters in Ikeja, the suspect said it was not his initial plan to become an armed robber.

He said, “Initially, I did not want to be an armed robber. I lived in Ebute Meta and I owned a motorcycle. Two of my friends told me to give them a ride to Aguda, Surulere. On getting there, they brought out guns and started robbing people. I swear I did not know that they were going for an operation. That was how I joined them.

“I ended up following them for 10 robbery operations. We usually operated in Onike, Yaba, Bariga and Somolu, where we robbed small shops. Later, we started snatching vehicles such as Toyota and Honda and we would give a dealer to sell. My share was always N50,000.

“My gang comprised myself, Kehinde Nice, Asumo and Nuru. The police arrested Asumo and I, while Nuru was killed. Kehinde is still on the run.”

The suspect said after spending one and a half years in prison, he and about 80 others were pardoned.

He said he went back to robbery because he was tempted by bad friends and needed money to survive.

While crying profusely, he said, “I dropped out of school in JSS2 and became an apprentice at a mechanic workshop but I did not finish my training.

“After sometime, I got a girl pregnant and became a father with responsibilities. Unfortunately, my father is late and my mother is old, so I have no one to help me.

“After leaving prison, I started receiving calls from people that they needed vehicles and I was short of money. So, I thought to myself that if I could steal just one car, I would be alright. I did not know that police had been on my trail from the day I was released.”

The Oyo State indigene asked the police to give him one more chance, promising that he would not return to his old ways.

“I never killed anyone during my robberies, please. If they can spare me one last time, I will be grateful,” he said.

Deputy Police Public Relations Officer, Damasus Ozoani, said the suspect would be charged to court for armed robbery.

When Mr Victor Idam, his wife and three others left their home in an ash-coloured Nissan Primera car for Abakaliki, the Ebonyi State capital, they had no premonition that the journey which started on a joyous note, would end in a disaster.
The couple and their three companions who hailed from Afikpo North Local Government Area, were involved in a ghastly auto-crash which claimed their lives, leaving two others with minor injuries. The crash which was a head-on- collision with a trailer, occurred at about 3.45 pm at Berger Junction along the Ishiagu – Afikpo Road.
The deceased couple who were members of Deeper Life Bible Church were riding in a Nissan Primera with registration number UML 250 AA when it (car) collided with a yellow-coloured Mack Trailer with registration No. APP 215 XP

A source close to the Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, in Ebonyi State told Vanguard Metro on condition of anonymity, that the crash was caused by over-speeding. He advised road users to desist from over-speeding on the smooth-surfaced Ishiagu/Afikpo road.
Another eyewitness attributed the crash to the carelessness of the driver of the trailer. The source told VM that the accident occurred when the conductor of the trailer was trying to take over from his driver while the vehicle was still in motion.
“The accident was very terrible; in fact, those who came to rescue the victims had to force the doors open before the victims were brought out. I learnt that the conductor was trying to take over from the driver while on steering. Before their death, the couple were resident in Umuahia. The wife worked with the Education Board in Abia, while the husband who is graduate of Ebonyi State University, EBSU, Abakaliki worked with a media outfit located in Port Harcourt. He was a presenter with Deeper Life Satellite Television,” the source explained.
The State Coordinator, Special Marshal RF 9.2 Nigeria, Dr. Henry Urochukwu who spoke on the accident, advised government to make the teaching and learning of safety education mandatory in primary and secondary schools.
“If we start on time to talk about safe driving from our primary and secondary schools, it help the situation. That accident that happened at Ishiagu was very pathetic; learning how to drive is not just it, you need to know about the maintenance of the vehicle among other requirements.
“In this case, we must look at both human and environmental factors before we can accurately discuss the reasons behind that accident. If a driver is not conversant with the road, accident may occur. Note that the road may be well tarred but accident may occur due to poor lighting of the road at night. If a driver does over 100 kilometres per hour, it is over speeding. The psychological disposition of a driver matters a lot during driving,” he said.

Continuing, Dr Urochukwu asked a lot of rhetorical questions : “We need to look at the medical history of the driver to ascertain whether he had had a heart attack. What is his psychological disposition to driving? Is he an epileptic patient? Is the driver tired after driving for about 17 hours? Is the person prone to risk taking? Does he have a pulse for over-speeding; does he have a defective judgement while driving; does he spend time quarrelling with another road user instead of focusing on his lane? Does he have a poor perception of his or her environment? It is a very complex issue but these are the factors we need to put into consideration”
VM learnt that the bodies of the deceased have been deposited at a mortuary in Uturu, Abia State while the injured victims are currently receiving treatment in hospital.

Tithe, is very important, if you dint pay it there is even a penalty for it in Leviticus 27.31 you will add 20% as interest that is the penalty.

How much amount of money can be rated as compensation to graduates that there is every tendency that they make billions of Naira if they are alive.. Well RIP.... Government should find proper thing to do to this insecurity

Make sure the document you have indicate the place where he wrote and sign the terms and the condition also that he received the payment from you.

Then; immediately file a warning petition, give him a copy of that and state it there on your petition that you will copy the superiors of which you will even implicate all the parties involved. Give me 3days to refund your money if otherwise take the proper legal steps.

You can pm me so i can give you a copy of a petition i filled but not to NDCDC, of which my money was paid directly to the stated details within 3hours.
