According to ChatGPT: The use of K to represent "thousand" comes from the Greek word kilo, which means a thousand. This prefix is widely used in the metric system (e.g., kilogram = 1,000 grams, kilometer = 1,000 meters). Over time, it became common in financial contexts to use K as shorthand for "thousand," particularly in places like accounting or business where space and brevity are valued. Using T for "thousand" could create confusion since T is often used to represent "trillion" in finance. |

Youngsage:I thought I was the only one that felt Kingdom Kroseide's rendition of "I look to you" wasn't that emotional enough to make Seyi cry except there were edited parts during his performance that we didn't get to see. |

[quote author=Munzy14 post=87426488]Sure, I think someone said Arnold auditioned for almost all the BBN seasons... So they jumped into UL. It's Arnold himself that said he auditioned for past BBN seasons but was always dropped during the final selection. I believe Arnold, like Jerry only came to UL for fame and not love. |

Omalichabby:I tell you, people have to be careful around Rosie. |
Omalichabby:I want to think there are other reasons but this probably was the last straw. You know Obi has cautioned Ebiteinye more than once to be careful of Rosie, so maybe his advise is rubbing off on her. |
dujika:Yesterday Ebi was telling Meriton that Rose keeps borrowing her wigs like she didn't have, only for her to open Rosie's wardrobe to see wigs. I'm sensing the wig issue is just what broke the camel's back and there might be other things Ebi was angry about before the wigs. |
Reussite:You're right on this. A few minutes ago during their argument, Louis told Iykeresa that Michael told him to nominate them. |

[quote author=Giel post=55044429]what happened between tboss and bisola again,? why do they like fighting over cooking of food na wa, debie please don't go close to tboss before some fans start saying tboss is dragging u down with her thank God debie has left, let them stop using debie as an excuse to insult tboss, Tboss marinated chicken before cooking and said she wanted to use the liquid that she used in soaking the raw chicken as sauce that they would dip the chicken in to eat. Bisola didn't like the idea of using the liquid of the raw chicken as a sauce and told tboss so. Tboss now said she had made it like that before but Bisola said she wouldn't eat it especially as Tboss had already said the chicken was getting bad. when Bisola left the kitchen, tboss threw the sauce away and said she didn't want to have issues with anyone. so Bally went to tell Bisola that tboss had thrown the sauce away and Bisola explained to him why she said she wouldn't eat it in the first place. |
@ Tipsdon, you could be right. she has this rainbow filter (celebrate pride) on one of her fb pictures which some gays and lesbians use to show their sexual preference or maybe she just supports them! |

No way. So what happens when you get married, extra marital affairs start on the same day you say "i do" or even before then? Let him/her know that you no longer feel it. It will be hard at that point but remember that no matter how bitter the truth is, it must be said. Time surely heals all wounds and the dumped party will surely get over it. The person might even wonder what he/she saw in you in the first place. Get your happiness first, not pity for others when it comes to matters like this. |
Kato, a third class or a pass is not useless oh. Your inability to find a job now is because jobs are not easy to come by and not because of your result. During my service year, i wrote my first bank test and on the form, we were asked to write our courses and results. I peeped in the guy beside me, he wrote Upper credit-Accounting, the one to my right wrote 2-1 Business Admin. Me, i wrote my humble 2-2 Zoology. Test result came out, i came 5th out of the over 3000 people that wrote the test and got employed by the bank. I worked with the other first four and they read Biology, Geology,English (3rd class) and Political science. Its a pity that some employers are short sighted and do not see beyond 1st class or Federal Universities. I remember about 3 years ago, i was trying to apply online to a bank and when i put n my course of study (Zoology) and result (2-2) as the on-line form required, i got prompted with the message "I'm sorry you do not meet our criteria, please try somewhere else" despite my banking experiences. So keep searching, your result is not a problem, at all. |
Mekushai, i feel your pain. I work in the Operations department of a bank and i have to be in the office 6 days in a week. For the past 4 months, i have been working even on sundays. The last time i went on vacation was in 2004 and i was given only 10 days off!!!!!!!!! Mine is bad because i work in Aba, live alone and cannot further past my BSc. because the town has no University (The only one-state owned is far away). So people would rather go to Enugu (which is about 2 and a half hours away) to run their Masters or PGD programmes but how can i do that with my tight schedule? My case is pathetic again because i am not from the East and do not speak their language, so i become an easy target for people to cheat when i go out to buy stuff. Job hunting is slow because the internet connection has been cut off so you can't browse sites, not even after 5 or 6pm or on weekends as some other banks do. And how many cybers are open after 9pm when i leave the office or on sundays? (Just lucky to have seen this which was almost shutting down). Please keep hanging in there. Its not easy, i swear. I break down sometimes and just cry like a baby (Little wonder why we are called the weaker sex) because its not easy at all. Keep jobhunting, i'm certain that something good will come out of it if you are persistent. |
