I just received an SMS to come with my Identity Card and collect my TCN letter at coporate head quaters Zambezi Crescent anytime from 16th.

Am not sure. Am just asking if anyone heard something similar. I heard it from someone that works at TCN Kaduna (just a normal staff). That Manitoba has recruitted 500 engineers and they are training at Kainji.

Another agency is recruiting under Min of Power: NERC. That is the place worth having Bp not TCN.@Arysexy

The people that did interview on Saturday are self -centered. All they have been talking about is them them and them. What about the people that applied this year in June. Any news on them?

Guys another agency under Power ministry is recruiting, NERC. Which one is better between NERC and TCN. Considering both profession and of course salary package.

United Nations, ECOWAS and minstry of foreign affairs (embassies) pay jumbo salaries in Nigeria as well.

NERC, NDIC, NIMASA, PenCom. NERC pays better than NCC and NDIC. Its somehow a new place. Still yet to start functioning fully.

Guys may be a little too early to state this. Bt what's the function of NERC and how about its profile compared to NNPC CBN etc.

Yes I said it is rumors. We can't rely on them and get our hopes high.

Some people are dreaming here. TCN cannot pay such money. People should just be content with what they will get there. But its not as good as they imagine. No one should raise his hope. For thosse that offered prayers, I say Amen.

I also heard about salary upgrade too. The current is truly 80K but news has it that it will grow to 200+ monthly. The trainng at canada remains a rumor though. And personally I don't think FG will spend a lot of money now that they complain of being broke.

Guys stop worrying about this TCN. Its not a top quality job. If you get , thank god, if you don't, its not a big deal. Its not as if TCN is like NNPC or CBN or FIRS.

chukdc: Please,when do we expect to get the appointment letter.I heard it will be out from 22nd of this month.Can any body confirm it?I also heard that the training will be in Canada for six months and the newly restructured salary is N250,000.Please any body with any contrary information should comment on any of the following as earlier stated.

I heard ssomething similar about the salary increase to 250K. For the training its rumors. Some say its at Naptin, some said Paris , some said UK. For the letter , I don't have a clue

North East. Guys its not too early to discuss the possible salary package for TCN at this stage. We shold know what to expect incase we get the job. Anyone with an Idea?

The upgrade is certain. Even NERC boss said Power sector employees must be paid on par with telecom industry. Just that we are not sure of the amount of increase. How much does TCN pay now by the way.

I heard that Manitoba Hydro Intl a Canadian company will be the one to manage TCN for the next three years and that they are upgrading salary packages at d place. A fresh graduate may take up to 250K monthly. Any1 knows something similar?

No one got the messsage yet. But one of theem said he received a message requesting his CV since before the aptitude test. Maybe they r tracking the few of us that haven't submitted yet.

I know its early to ask, but does anyone know about their salary package, How do they compare to the good Govt parastatals. And there branch offices as well.

Guys. I attended the aptitude test. Was surprised to see written test. I was expecting computer based exam. Anyway, how did the exam go for the rest.
