Too bad, mine was one of such complications. In fact, I have the opinion of the surgeon and he is testifying tongue. I go bury the doctor ehn. In fact, I wld send him into financial extinction cheesy
I'm sure you complained of funds when he mentioned surgery ,then he gave you a medical option .
I said it because most if not all doctors would rather do surgery for appendicitis than offer drugs. Surgery is a better money spinner.

If you don't bring proof of suing, you are wrong.

Dats how a doctor gave me tablets that it wld cure my appendicitis. Omo the next tin I know, na serious operation dem do me o! My appendix burst, 500mg of pus was spilling inside me. My life just maga finish. I don sue the stupid doctor. I'm claiming millions against him and the hospital.

Omo ale jati jati doctors. Wen e reach to strike, una go cari fes. Common typhoid wey roadside aboki go cure with agbo, u canor treat.
If e parents like, make dem no sue. Dey form "God has taken"
Sue if you can, and also bring us proof, dindirin. You'll get nothing.
Antibiotics are the first line treatment for appendicitis.
Surgery is done for complicated cases only

HOWEVER, if that footage was taken in Nigeria, Davido should expect a visit from the police in response to the posting of this video, regardless of whether the M4 carbine in the above video is functional or disabled.
David is a US citizen na.he knows he cannot try this in Nigeria.

I think you get my point...you can easily replace the Oxford with University of Capetown or University of California - Berkeley
You're even bonkers than I thought.
Ebonyi federal university is a public university, and they have the right to rename. Why in hell' s would the PM try to rename Oxford? You nor sabi correlate things?

Ooh Lord ,where is the facepalm meme

Its just like the Prime Minister of UK trying to rename Oxford university. She go enter serious trouble
Faux intellectualism .How will a government official even think of renaming a university which is more private than public?

For Oxford university , The british government does not own the university assets, university staff are not considered to be civil servants, and as of 2014, roughly 85% of the Universities’ income comes from “private” sources (student fees, endowments and investment portfolios and so on and so forth)..
EducationRe: LAUTECH Ranked As Best State University In Nigeria. by d33types: 1:45pm On Feb 04, 2018
HigherEd:
Just say you don't understand the methodology before making a shame of yourself. But lemme break it down simple for you. Webometrics is a ranking which uses four bibliometric tools(presence, impact, openness and excellence) first created by Lee Bernard to assess universities on the web by virtue of their academic contents. It rates the global relevance of research output according to how universities all over the world uses them.
If the words in methodology are hard for you to understand go and read the objectives of the Webometric ranking on their site.
You are the ignoraums my friend. The link is there to clear your knowledgelessness.

Faux intellectualism is your problem . You claim to know much but know little. Not all journals are ranked because some aren't open source.

Funny enough, the most sought after journals in medical prectice aren't filtered.

mansakhalifa:
Utter higgledy-piggledy. That is why I take these so-called "rankings" with a pinch salt. A school gets shut down for a whole year and yet you rank it as the best state govt. funded university in Nigeria?! Way to go webometric. Pray, tell what would you then rank this same institution if it were, say in the nearest future, get shut down for a whole decade? I am guessing they would stand at number one in the rankings above all else. What were the webometrics guys drinking? Cheap vodka,I guess.
HigherEd:
You people know little about the ranking. It assessed the school's academic activity between 2011-2015. The strike in Lautech of recent would only affect Lautech rankings in two years.
Webometrics ranks online presence and nothing else.
It is not a ranking of quality of education.

Universities with online portals and online payment systems have higher ranking

Nigerian health budget is about 4% compared to the US which is 28%.. una never see something .instead of you guys to blame the government you're blaming doctors.

point of information, I am not stupid, I am a concerned Nigerian. And the next victims maybe someone that you can not just imagine their pains but their experience.
I apologise for my choice of words.
I know the standard protocol for referral . Unfortunately ,some persons will never understand why we refer. Most, think doctors refer in in order to dodge work or if they cannot see money from errant or poor parents.
The mind of an average Nigerian is rotten, sir

does doctors have the right to reject patience in critical conditions?
Environment and health care services are part of the determinants of health.
She would have survived it if accepted or referred.
RIP.
Sad news its only the life of the elites that matters and they get treated abroad.
Nigerian life matters. I think the Lagos state Government should take this case up, investigate it and do something about it. the doctors need to know that life matters, the confidence of lagosian need to be restored. we have beautiful city, we need good health care services. this is sad and better imagined.
Yes they have the right to reject especially if hospitals don't have the basics such as oxygen. I cannot admit you as an emergency and be looking at your face. Stop blaming doctors and blame the government

EducationRe: Dr Asking Why MED. LAB. Scientists Use Stethoscope For Induction Pics by d33types: 10:58am On Jan 31, 2018
Jman06:
I think it smacks of insecurity for a medical doctor to be bothered about what other medical professionals use or choose to address themselves as.
The stethoscope is just a physiological instrument, and most students of health-related desciplines take courses in human physiology and are exposed to the use of the stethoscopes and other physiological instruments. Even physiology graduate can use a steth provided he knows what it is used for and how it works. That the nigerian medical doctors chose to use the stethoscope as a badge is solely their problem.
Also, the "Dr" title is not an exclusive preserve of nigerian physicians! Anybody can be a doctor in his field so long as he/she meets the academic requirement.
I'm actually ashamed of some of these guys who are getting all worked up about who uses a steth or who bears the "Dr" title, it shows the level of insecurity of the average nigerian medical doctor, and to me, it exposes how lazy some of them are because the medical profession is large enough for any serious person to carve himself a niche and not go about lamenting what other people do within the legal confines of their professions.
Nowadays, most person who flaunt the stethoscope ,does that to get recognition which comes with being a medical doctor. In other words most who flaunt the stethoscope, does it with the intent of being referred to as a medical doctor.

Making matters worse, the average joe in Nigeria does not know the difference between a medical doctor amd a pharmacist or a nurse ... if you carry a stethoscope, you must be a medical doctor in their eyes and therein lies the charade in masquerading as a doctor.

That is why a patient coming to a pharmacist shop will present the complain and instead of the pharmacist to refer to a doctor, he/she starts treating and functioning as a quack doctor.

There have always been doctor of medicine, doctor of optometry, doctor of pharmacy etc. The problem only arose when the average gullible Nigerian thought all "doctor na doctor".

If you want to be a doctor that treats, kindly goto a medical school .

Did you read me well?in medicine all you have to do is qualification exams which you can take if your school is accredited .
EducationRe: Mbbs In Unilag, Or Mbbs In Ui by d33types: 8:02am On Jan 23, 2018
CaptainJeffry:
Unilag is more recognized in the international community. That's if you have future plan to practice in the West later.
In Medicine, ones recognition does not come from the school you attended but the exams you can pass and what you can do.

Infact, nobody asks where you trained. This is unlike other courses.
EducationRe: Mbbs In Unilag, Or Mbbs In Ui by d33types: 7:59am On Jan 23, 2018

Both are OK, But I prefer a foreign university where you get to be exposed to first class education and practise. That is an hotcake for potential jobs. Who else agrees?
For medicine, where you study doesnt matter if you cannot perform optimally. Infact, if the degree is from Russia, Ukraine is those east European nations, it is next to thrash as concerning medicine.
