What a careless and reckless statement from our Chief custodian and interpreter of Law. A Southern leader will definitely proscribe Herdsmen/Bandits since this government are romancing with them.

The attorney general isn't the chief custodian of the law or even the chief interpreter. The supreme court judges are the chief interpreter.
He is the federal executive's representative on matters regarding the law, and that is where it ends.

He submits to even a magistrate or high court judge.

Wedding is simply the marriage process. It does not mean the one done in a church. Naija mentality

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wedding

A wedding is a ceremony where two people are united in marriage. Wedding traditions and customs vary greatly between cultures, ethnic groups, religions, countries, and social classes.

it seems you are a local person, have you ever left anambra before in your life?

All these things you are posting are not special.

Don't be silly. The church is doing what the government should be undertaking, and you say it's not special?
It is special and highly commendable.

Where I live (far from your shithöle country) government take charge of education for the majority, and when you see privates doing that, it becomes hugely pricey.

These Catholics are offering high quality education at a cheap premium (you can see why Anambra has the highest cutoff nationally) . So if you have anything to say than to rubbish people's thread, then get lost.

Travel / Re: Road Sign Slices Through A Driver's Car In The UK (Pictures) by d33types: 12:52pm On Jun 02, 2021
ogbiwa:
A driver in the UK had a miraculous escape after he crashed into a road sign causing the vehicles's windscreen, and part of the roof, to be sliced in half.

According to CorkBeo the freak accident happened on Sunday evening near the N20 when the Range Rover left the road and hit the sign.

The road sign sliced through the front windshield but thankfully the glass didn't shatter leaving the driver to walk away unharmed.

Local police and ambulance services attended the scene but did not need to treat anyone for injuries sustained during the crash.

A spokesperson for the police said: "Gardaí attended the scene of a single-vehicle collision at Waterloo, Blarney on May 30, 2021 at around 7.30pm.

"The car is believed to have collided with a sign post at the side of the road. No injuries were reported to Gardaí at the time of the collision."

In photos taken at the scene of the crash the silver Range Rover is pictured with the large road sign cut into the roof and windscreen of the vehicle.

It is not clear whether there were passengers in the car at the time of the crash or whether it was just the driver travelling.

Plus the idea/nature of the jobs is totally different, doctor's main intention is to save life making money is just a secondary to the occupation

Please dead that your last paragraph. Medicine is a job. A means of livelihood which also doubles as a calling.

Opening the trend often is somehow. I really appreciate ur concern pls how many pages passport were you given and do you have the immigration officer he link you to number

I got the 64pages passport which was what I paid for. The 10yr license only comes in 64 pages.

I don't have any contact.

I was weeping loudly out of frustration that day, then someone asked me to stand close to the door, that the oga of the command was on his way.

The oga saw me and asked what the problem was, and I told him the truth, that my sister has a surgery to do abroad and I have to follow her, but the passport is a challenge. So he called the admin head and told him to provide my passport the next-day unfailingly.

That was how I got it.

I heard that the oga is quite kind. That same week, one lady who wanted to travel with her husband had the same issue, and the oga helped her too..

Sorry, I'd want to minimise sharing contacts on nairaland I'd answer all questions here. I hope you don't mind

I don't need your present just some steps to take.
did u collect your money back from him and how much do you pay him initially and how much do you pay for the new one there are some information I want to ask that I wouldn't want to share it here

Mine was 80k for 10yrs. I didn't collect money back. The comptroller after seeing my tears, told them to make sure they issue me the passport from their reserves the next day.

That's when I know that all passport offices have reserves for the presidency, governors and senators' family.

Please bro let us chat I need your help have been under him since last year December
Pls send me your phone number to **********@yahoo.com I lost opportunity to study in Finland due to this. The mad man was even making mouth that he was the one handling Ovie Omo-Agege daughter passport that his ready to do both together. Please I take God beg you let me chat with you privately

I'm even more saddened about your story as it seems he's been such a a cruel man for ages.

Unfortunately, I cannot even assist you. as I'm not in the country anymore, and I don't plan to arrive in a long time. Like I said, it was the comptroller who saw me weeping and took pity on me else I'd still be stuck.

I really hope you get yours sorted.

Yes he's the one very greedy man he lies too much. claim religious man church workers in winners

Pls how were you able to collect your passport
Hv send you message

He's a very evil man. He promised me same day processing in February . He then linked me up to a senior admin with the name Obomighe. It was then i discovered that he (Sylvester) works in their Command branch and not the passport office.

I was helped by their top oga comptroller, else I'd have missed my abroad job.

Is this his number? 08034935493 The way he calls God,one will assume he's a very good person. Even his whatsapp picture says "unfathomable God".

I also met one babe who on his instructions booked a same day return ticket from and to from Lagos, hoping to get booklet the same day.

I dey plan am seriously even in my absence from naija.

The incidence scarred me so much, that whenever I hear any Nigerian call God during business, I completely disconnect from them.

I later got the 10yr passport because thankfully, will never renew my naija passport again, as I'll be eligible for a foreign one by then.

It's far far far worse. There are only 2 passport centres in the US, compared to 37 centres in Nigeria

A localised Nigerian DL is not valid, you need to have upgraded it to an International license.....

This international license, is only valid for ONE year (from the entry date, stamped on your passport)......

Without the aforementioned, don't just grab a car (leave the car jejely, buy a bus pass or a bicycle)....... grin

Let's assume you already have the above, you MUST have a vehicle insurance + road fund licence aka road tax....

Without all of the above, buy beta boot to slap the highways........ cheesy

idolda:

Normal Nigeria driving license. If you have it no need of getting the international one, it is waste of money.

I saw the above and was wondering. gov.uk says it's acceptable but seeing views here got me confused.

Thank you so much

You can drive with normal naija driving license in the UK. However, the licence is only valid for one (1) year from the date you arrived in UK.

The normal naija license? Or the international driver's license.

Please I need clarification

No, Sir. Please, let's give people the right information! And let's talk authoritatively only about the things we know. In the US, even without a first degree in nursing, she can go for a master's in nursing. Even if she has a first degree in Igbo, she can go for a master's in nursing. Just have a first degree in anything, and you can go for a master's in Nursing. If the first degree is in something completely non-science such as History or music, she can very well go for a master's in Nursing, but she would have to take a few prerequisite classes which are Microbiology, Nutrition, Statistics and A & P (roughly 17 to 21 credits). However, with a bachelor's in something like Pharmacology - the most dreaded class for nursing students - she has probably already taken all the needed prerequisite classes which gives her a huge upper hand. She can just go directly to a master's in nursing in the US.

Kindly revert back to my first post.
She can have a masters degree in nursing, however if the intention is to practice nursing, it's impossible without the rn or first degree. The best the the person can indulge in, is research, but not practice.

For instance here, there are people with MBBS and MD degrees, but not licensed to practice medicine in the US. The degrees do not always quality you for clinical work.

Peace out
