You think sey na joke? Fayose knew anything can happen between now and June 4, hence, his reason for wanting peace to reign by coming to terms with a truce .

Fayose the bad man. APC lawmakers be like; After God, fear Fayose.
And someone calls this man his role model. What's there in him to emulate?
PoliticsEkiti Crisis: APC Lawmakers Gives Terms For Truce by D9ty7(op): 8:18am On May 01, 2015
The 19 All Progressives Congress lawmakers of the Ekiti State House of Assembly on Thursday shunned the peace meeting convened by Chief Afe Babalola (SAN) to reconcile them with Governor Ayodele Fayose.

The lawmakers in a statement by Speaker Adewale Omirin’s Special Adviser on Media, Wole Olujobi, explained that while they appreciated the peace moves initiated by the eminent lawyer, surrounding circumstances gave away the governor as not prepared for any resolution of the crisis.

Specifically, the lawmakers said the security measures put in place for the peace parley revealed that the governor had a plan to attack and arrest some of them.

The lawmakers, therefore, proposed that the meeting be moved to Ibadan office of the Senior Advocate while members of the committee must be non-partisan elders.

But Babalola at the meeting on Thursday asked the Commissioner of Police, Ebojune Ibine, and the State Director of Department of State Service, Mr. Duke Fubara, to explain if they planned to arrest the lawmakers.

Both of them said that they had no instruction from anywhere to arrest anyone.
To ensure attendance of all parties, the founder of Afe Babalola University, Ado Ekiti, said he gave an undertaking to personally lead the APC lawmakers out of the town after the meeting.

He said over 200 policemen had also been stationed at the entry point at Imesi to ensure their safety in and out of the town.
Reacting to Babalola’s claim that he had made security arrangement for 200 policemen to protect them into and out of Ado-Ekiti, the APC lawmakers said this alone had given away the motive of the peace meeting.

They wondered why the peace would include provision of security to escort them out of the state instead of escorting them to the House of Assembly to continue their legislative duties.

“We cannot hold any meeting on the basis of monetary settlement in isolation of the consideration of the constitutional breaches by the governor. It is amazing that the truce terms will not include resumption of our duties, but just to settle us monetarily and escorting us out of Ekiti State,” the statement explained.

Picking holes in the arrangement for the meeting, the lawmakers wondered why the governor was announcing the peace meeting intermittently on the state media while secretly mobilising the PDP members from the 16 local governments to storm the venue of the meeting.

“What is this all about if not coded incitement for mob attacks?” the lawmakers queried.
They also insisted that the security agents told them in clear terms that they could not guarantee their security and warned them against passing through the streets of Ado-Ekiti to the venue of the meeting.

They added that their discovery of a plot to arrest them confirmed their fears that even though Babalola might not know Fayose’s mindset, the revelation and what their government’s sources told them were enough to call off the meeting for a safer venue outside the state capital.
Listing their truce terms, they demanded immediate removal of all illegal structures that aid the activities of thugs and miscreants in and around the Ekiti State House of Assembly premises; restoration of the constitutionally recognised Speaker (Omirin), and other principal officers illegally impeached back to their lawful positions; and the G19 should be allowed unfettered access to and from the Ekiti State House of Assembly to perform their legislative duties until the expiration of their tenure on June 6, 2015.

Others include stoppage of political arrests and vendetta against the APC members adding that the governor should facilitate these demands between now and May 4, 2015.

They expressed sincere appreciation to the elders who facilitated the meeting and urged them to consider holding the meeting at a neutral and safer venue.

But Fayose at the meeting promised to shift ground on contentious issues if that would return peace to the state.
The governor, who said his gesture should not be taken for cowardice, also debunked allegations by the lawmakers that he had connived with security agencies to arrest them if they appeared for the meeting.

“Within the ambit of the laws, I will respect the views of all of them. If there is anybody who should be evasive, it should be me because their time has almost expired. The guilty are afraid.

“They said I sent police to arrest them, where will I keep them after arresting them? We should stop playing to the gallery in a matter like this. I’m ready to shift ground. I’m ready to ensure they depart and finish their tenure successfully and whatever is due to them, I’m ready to pay. That is not an act of cowardice.

“I’m prepared to make peace and work in the overall interest of the state. I’m ready to submit myself to this meeting as many times as possible.”

Others at the meeting include the Chairman, Committee for the Creation of Ekiti State, Chief Deji Fasuan, a former Minister of National Planning, Chief Ayo Ogunlade, a delegate to the National Conference 2014, Dr. Kunle Olajide and the factional Speaker, Dele Olugbemi.

CHAPTER 12
"you kept us waiting." Mark said,
"Yes, I know." General Tukur replied. "The president was here sometimes ago and he spent an hour waiting for me. You haven't spent forty minutes, so why complain?" He asked.
"How did you come about such power? I learnt you retired from active politics in 2007 and you never for once acted like a stateman or whatever, but yet, political aspirants and party flagbearers come to your house for endorsement and we learnt only a candidate endorsed by Tukur always end up being victorious. How did you come about such power?" Mark asked.
Tukur bursted into laughter. He cleared his throat and began to speak.
Mark nudged Tina who immediately brought out her notepad and her pen, as well as switching on a voice transmitter whose sole responsibility was to accept voice recording and transmitt it to a certain computer within a set range and whoever is with the computer will be able to listen in on the conversation.
"Just like you said, I retired from active politics seven years ago, but politics never left me, and the media never stopped talking about my political power. And the funniest part is that, apart from serving as millitary governor thrice, I only served as the Chief of Army staff in the democratic dispensation. It was not like I held a position of power and all of that, so, where the power came from, I don't know."
"No one can specifically say you are from this state. Some quarters said you are from Katsina, others said you are from Adamawa. And during the last election, it was reported that a particular gubernatorial candidate visited you and asked for your endorsement. Even though he was the least popular of the contestants, in a less popular political party. You told him some things, after which you said he'll govern the state for the next four years. Yes sir? He won the election." Mark explained. "How did you do that?" He asked.
Tukur was just smiling away, as it was no news that Rtd General Tukur enjoyed nothing, but you singing his praise.
"You can't know what I told the governor, but in few years, if you want to contest for any elective office, I will tell you the same." Tukur laughed.
"Are you still in contact with the Nigerian army?" Tina spoke for the first time.
"Of course. I am a retired General, and I am entitled to nine soldiers according to the Millitary act 1991. If I have nine serving Lieutenants under my roof, what other connection or contact is greater than that."
"Do you have an oil block?" Mark asked.
"No."
Tina loved the way the questions are going. Just the way they planned.
"We all know there is something called the world powers. Are you in contact with any of them, their government or their armies?" Tina asked.
"Of course, but not anymore."
"Which of them and when did you loose contact with them?" She asked. The questions were leading them to the reason why they were in the house.
"Russia, 1991." Tukur replied.
Mark exchanged a knowing look with Tina and immediately, he brought out a phone from his shoe and sent a short message to Melvin which reads;
The time is now. Give the securities, something to chew.
Even though they had a brief idea of who and who Tukur was in contact with, but hearing him speak about it in details gives them joy. Anyone who was placed highly by the Russian government as at 1991 must either be for the split of the Soviet countries or be against the split. And somebody like Tukur will definitely be against the split. And as at December 1991 when the peace treaty was brokered and the members of the Union went their ways to be a soveriegn state, anyone in contact with Russia would either be for the Russian government by fighting that Danny Lovato be stopped, or be for Danny Lovato. Someone with dubious character and an unknown source of wealth like Tukur will definitely be for Danny Lovato's establishment, hence, the probable reason why he lost contact with the Russian government.
A message flew into Mark's phone which reads;
Am on it- Melvin.
And without any other word, he stood up, charged at the elderly man a few metres away from him and hit him twice on the face.
"Where is it?" He asked.
From nowhere, Tina produced a syringe filled to the brim with a yellowish liquid and a cotton wool.
"Cover for me." Mark said giving a gun he smuggled into the house to Tina.
Even though the greatest risk one could take was attacking a man in his house without having an idea of the number of securities in his house, but to somebody like Mark, it was worth the risk.
"Are you sure this would work? I mean, will it get him to talk?" Mark asked as he moved behind the old man and made to stick the syringe into his neck.
"It will, try it. Eric gave me the assurance." Tina whispered.
"If it were to be in America..." Mark was saying.
"Save me the America talk and do your thing." Tina cut him short angrily.

Check your tenses, Sir... And try to show more than tell the story... Less words but meaningful words would do the magic...

Example, you wrote:
Mark and Tina have been seated in the porshe and spacious living room belonging to Rtd Major General Tukur. Even though Makr hated to be kept waiting, but sitting down inside the living room, he kind of doesn't mind to be kept waiting for a while longer.

Could be better written:
Mark and Tina sat in the Porsche and spacious living room belonging to Rtd Major General Tukur. Mark didn't like to be kept waiting, but sitting in this exquisite living room, he could go days without moving an inch.

Jimmy walked out of his office with a sheepish smile on his face.
"Hey Mag." He called at his secretary who was working furiously on her computer. "Mag." He whispered standing between her and the window. This singular act forced Magaret to raise her head up and there she saw her boss smiling.
"Jim."
"Weldone." Jimmy said calmly.
All her life she has never seen someone as crazy as Jimmy. Despite the fact that he was at her mercy, regarding all he had planned out for the company, the Managing Director and his wife. And Magaret being the only living soul who knew about it all, he still felt confident speaking to her. Maybe she was just a toothless bull who lacked the courage to report Jimmy to the authorities, but who would believe her.
"You going out?" She asked after a minute of intent staring.
"Yeah. Are you drooling?" Jimmy asked.
"Why should I? You are not handsome, so forget it." Magaret replied jokingly.
"You know, I sometimes wonder how you will end up living your life." Jimmy said sitting on one of the two chairs in the office.
"Tell me more." Magaret smiled abandoning whatever she was doing on her computer in the first place.
"I mean, you sleep with me, as well as several other men. You might just end up marrying an old man who would die months after the wedding or someone in the lower class who would depend on you for everything. Your life seemed messed." Jimmy explained.
Realising how much damage he had done to Magaret whose countenance has changed, but the smile was still there.
"That was too harsh haba!" She said trying to sound normal, but deep down, Jimmy knew she was hurt.
"Just airing my opinion." Jimmy rose up, adjusted his tie. "How do I look?"
"Ugly." She laughed.
"See you later." He said as he made for the door.
"What would you get for me?" She asked pouting her lips like a kid begging for chocolate candy.
"Actually, am headed to the top floor. I need to see the CEO. But during the lunch hour, we could drive to town to see what we can get."
"Good idea! But, why do you want to see the CEO anyways?" She asked.
"I bet you don't wanna know." With this, he bounced out of the office.
Only a few people in the company have direct access to the CEO. While Jimmy was not supposed to be anywhere near the CEO, but since he was friends with the CEO's son-in-law, he was accorded respect.
Magaret knew Jimmy was up to no good and she vowed to launch a counter attack if he tried playing funny.

Mark Anthony was standing at the centre of the living room where Danny Lovato was seated to the left and John-Paul seated to the right.
"Paul, I wasn't expecting this from you. You should have proved you loyalty till the end." Anthony said.
"I did. Even after the coup, I went to Enugu, hoping to see you in Udi, but it was a futile attempt. I even went to Ogun state to see if you are in your family house, but sir, no one knew your whereabout. I was in contact with madam Grace for a decade after the incident as we exchange letters, but she never explained things to me. And I concluded that you are with her in America, from where her letters are always from." John explained.
Anthony was far from being satisfied.
"But you knew about the coup. Why couldn't you notify me? You knew that Eze was going to be toppled that night at Dodan barracks, but you kept mute and you were even with me until the last minute when Ahmed arrived with his boys. Paul, you were standing behind my wife and I inside the living room before she asked you to excuse us.... Paul, you were not loyal." Anthony poured out.
"I was loyal until the last minute. But the pressure to deliver your head was too much at the last minute. The coup plotters were everywhere and there was no way I could prove my loyalty without being killed." Paul explained like a weakling. Truly, he was a weakling before the now weak Mark Anthony. Afterall, the hand that moulded you have the power to destroy you.
"What can I do to redeem my loyalty. My son must not be inducted into Lovato's army." John-Paul pleaded to Anthony.
Anthony smacked his lips.
"There is this Mark Ashimolowo at N.A.T.U and another Christina James working with him. I want Christina's head and I want Mark here alive before the end of next week, then you have your son alive, failure to achieve that means your son will die and we return to how things were before." Anthony instructed.
"That's very easy. They work with me indirectly." General John Paul smiled for the first time.
"It is settled then." Lovato enthused from where he sat.

Mark and Tina sat in the Porsche and spacious living room belonging to Rtd Major General Tukur. Mark didn't like to be kept waiting, but sitting in this exquisite living room, he could go days without moving an inch.
The living room floor was tiled in a cream coloured and brown polka dotted tiles which matched with the brown suede sofas which had white pillows to match. There was a total of four couches in the living room, two three seater couch which was directly opposite the dining table and two one seater couch had their backs turned to the dining table. Mark was seated beside his colleague, Tina who seemed restless. The reason behind which Mark couldn't fathom.
Mark loved the set up and the interior decoration of the room, everything looked, cheap, porshe and classy. Above all, a typical african traditionalist was Tukur, as several framed pictures of shrines, festival, tourist attractions flooded the opposite wall.
"Is that not the Ikogosi warm spring?" He asked tapping Tina lightly on the lap.
"Yes it is." Tine snapped.
Mark was taken aback. He tried to remember if he had in any way wronged her, but his thoughts only made him look stupid. Tina who was full of life thirty minutes ago while they were giving out instructions to the other members of the team. "Maybe it is just mood swing." He concluded.
"Which state is it located?" He asked still staring at the frame which was hung on the wall.
"Why don't you move close too the picture, there you will get a clearer view and know the state where it is found." Tina replied.
Mark stared at the beautiful ebony lady beside him.
"Are you okay?" He asked calmly.
Tina threw a nasty look at him which could be interpreted as did-I-tell-you-I-am-not-okay.
"You've been acting strange, hope you are good." He added quickly.
Tina hissed silently and continued starring into space, such that she wasn't aware when Mark stood up to go take a closer look at the pictures.
As he stood in front of the pictures, he could imagine himself carrying his little child on his shoulder and Kimberly walking in front on the rocks with their picnic basket. How beautiful such a sight must be, but first, he needed grace from Kim. He knew he over reacted, and he was ready to atone for his sins, provided he was able to reduce the workload on his desk.
As Mark made to return to his seat, his eyes caught some family pictures involving human just beside the artwork collection. Curiousity got the better of him as he took five steps till he was directly in front of the picture. Sitting on an old chair was a man in his forties and a young woman in her thirties was sitting beside her husband and a little boy who looked so much like the man sat on the woman's laps and a young girl of about two years old sat on the man's laps. A closer look at the picture told him how much semblance he bore with the man in the picture. Beside the picture to the right was another family picture, where a father, mother and their three children were all photographed. At the side of the frame was inscribed; MAJOR GENERAL EZE AND FAMILY--HEAD OF STATE, 1985-1987--
Mark stared at the picture with keen interest and returning to the first family where he saw someone who looked like him, he saw a paper sticking out from underneathe the frame. He picked it up and read to himself; Colonel Mark Ashimolowo 'Anthony'-- De facto leader, 1985-1987.
Mark could feel his jaw tightened after reading the family name. Could this be the family whose completion he never enjoyed? Could this be the family he should have grown up with.
But, do I have a sister?"

And just then, Rtd Major General Tukur strode into the living room, flanked by armed soldier.
"Hello Gentleman." He said to Mark who immediately left the pictures and walked over to their host.
"They look alike." Tukur joked and everyone bursted into laughter. "How are yoy my lady?"
"Am fine sir." Tina replied.
"N.A.T.U right?" He asked and Tina nodded in the affirmative.
"A cool agency, just what we needed id you ask me." Tukur remarked. "How is Andrew?"
"I suppose he is fine. He is no longer director at N.A.T.U." Tina replied.
While Tina was discussing with the possesive Tukur, Mark has his insides turning.
"Where is my family?" He asked himself. "mum sure has a lot of explaining to do."

Danny Lovato led General John-Paul into the underground dormitory of LOVATO ARMIES.
"Here we are Paul." Danny said as he opened one last door which led to the front of several hostels numbering up to thirty and about twenty were occupied with boys between the ages of thirteen and eighteen. And at least two boys occupied the rooms each.
"Cell 18." Danny called and slowly, a uniformed man walked up with the cell marked '18' and unlocked the door.
Chidi slowly dragged himself out of the cell and his face lit up at the sight of his father.
"Oh my...... Dad!" He threw himself on his father's heavy frame.
"How are you boy?" General John-Paul asked his son, checking him all over to see if he sustained any injury.
"You should be here boy." Danny Lovato said calmly as he dragged Chidi away from his father.
"Danny, let me talk to my son." John Paul said, almost pleading.
"Your son a few days ago. Lovato's soldier as we speak." Danny Lovato replied.
Relucatantly, John allowed his son to go and meet his new custodian. Lovato smiled triumphantly at his ability to control one of the finest and strongest soldiers in the country.
"Go to daddy. You have two minutes." With this Lovato signalled to one of the uniformed men who led father and son to an empty cell.
"What have you been given since you came here?" He asked his son.
"Nothing dad except...." Chidi was saying but stopped when he saw the look on his father's face.
Soldiers are not meant to be jittery, scared, frightened or weak, but seeing his father in such a state was enough concern.
"What were you given?"
"Dad, is there any problem?" Chidi asked.
"Tell me whatever you were given." His father glared.
"Fine. I was injected on my left shoulder." Chidi replied.
"Oh God! Why would you allow such?"
"But dad, there is nothing bad in it. To be in the army, you'll be injected. You yourself told me, so what's the fuse about?" Chidi replied.
"Its like you don't get it. This is not the type of army you want to be a part of."
"Dad! I don't care. I told you to register me at NMS or NDA, but you refused saying you want me to become a doctor, and someone here is giving me the opportunity to showcase my skills as a soldier." Chidi replied ignorant of the fact that he was kidnapped or probably would be used to serve a purpose.
"You were kidnapped...." John Paul was saying when Lovato entered the cell. With a hand on the mighty General's shoulder.
"Your time is up." He laughed. "Get the boy back to his cell. You have a 5pm drill." He ordered the soldier who stood outside the cell and a minute later, Lovato was alone with John-Paul.
"Why are you doing this?" General John-Paul asked, throwing away every millitary training he at a point went through. The always be strong in the face of death was not applicable to him that moment, because no parent who welcomed their first child after seventeen years of marriage would want such child to die or exposed to any form of danger.
"Come with me." Lovato said as he exited the cell.
When you are confident about what you do, you'll control the world, wine and dine with the kings. Such was the case here, because Lovato was in his territory, he had John Paul's balls in his hand and he could boss him around anywhere.
"Where are we going?" Paul who on a normal day is twenty five times superior to Danny Lovato.
His mind flashed back to after the cold war when Lovato formed his rebellious army against the Russian government, John Paul, a Colonel then was at the front as he led the West African millitary troop to Egypt where they first reported Danny Lovato's presence. After a futile attempt at getting Lovato in Egypt, reports said he was hiding in Libya, others said he was in Morrocco, the Isreali MOUSSAD reportedly sent a picture of Lovato driving out of the Airport in Algeria. The attempt to get him in North Africa was futile, and disappointedly, the troops returned home, and to John-Paul's suprise, Lovato was waiting for him at his(John) vacation home in VGC. John Paul was caught off guard and after calls from the Egyptian president, Paul agreed to house Lovato for fourteen months until a mansion was constructed for him.
"Major General John Paul." A voice called as soon as they entered a room. "The coup plotter. The errand boy, hungry for promotion. 1987." And just then, the curtain slid open to reveal Mark Anthony smiling at one of his boys back in the days.
John gasped.

HealthRe: Woman, You Are Likely To Have A Stroke! by D9ty7(op): 10:15pm On Apr 29, 2015
Physicians have been attempting answers to some of the conundrums that menopause poses, what with the offer of a combined hormone therapy of progestin and estrogen that is now being suspected of doing more harm than relieving menopausal symptoms.
Consultant Reproductive Endocrinologist, Prof. Oladapo Ashiru, says the actual problem has to do with synthetic chemicals. He notes that natural, plant-based hormone replacement therapy does not have the untoward side effects associated with the synthetic ones.
The bottom line
Experts advise that reducing even one risk can greatly lower your chances of having a stroke. In other words, you are not as helpless as you may want to believe when it comes to the risks of having a stroke.

HealthWoman, You Are Likely To Have A Stroke! by D9ty7(op): 10:12pm On Apr 29, 2015
S-T-R-O-K-E. The six-letter word is capable of instilling fear in the heart of any middle aged person, because its onset might as well be the end of life as you know it, and the beginning of a journey to the world of pain, dotted with much spending on hospital visits, medications, and rehabilitation.
Stroke is no fun for both the victim and the caregivers – be they family or medics.
While it’s not exclusively a female health problem, medical statistics show that women are more prone to developing a stroke, compared to men. Worse still, statistics show, 60 per cent of stroke deaths occur in females, while the other 40 per cent occur in males.
In fact, the very factors that make you a woman also predispose you to the possibility of developing a stroke later in life, experts warn. These include pregnancy, childbirth, and your female hormones. But while you may be helpless about these factors, there’s plenty you could do to keep in good health and keep a stroke at bay.
Experts say in order to minimise damage and make for effective treatment, a stroke must be diagnosed within the first three hours of the first symptoms.
Symptoms of astroke
A neurologist, Dr. Segun Adewoye, says symptoms of a stroke include confusion, trouble with speaking and understanding, headache (possibly with altered consciousness or vomiting), numbness of the face, arm or leg (particularly on one side of the body) and trouble with seeing in one or both eyes.
The World Health Organisation adds, “Other symptoms include difficulty understanding speech; difficulty walking, dizziness, loss of balance or coordination; severe headache with no known cause; fainting or unconsciousness.”
The woman factor
The online portal, stroke.org, notes that in addition to the general risk factors such as family history, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, smoking, lack of exercise, and being overweight, as a woman you are faced with unique risk factors! What are they? Read on.
Birth control pills
Yes, we know that we have to control our family by limiting the number of children we give birth to. This is a herculean task for any woman of childbearing age, considering that some men still see family planning as a woman’s thing. Consequently, women are exposed to all sorts of drug interventions that aim to control their fertility.
In some women, scientists warn, oral contraceptives increase the risk of high blood pressure and blood clots. Physicians warn that the risk is greater if you smoke, already have high blood pressure, are over the age of 40, have other risk factors for heart disease or stroke, or already have a blood-clotting problem.
Gynaecologists say the greatest concern about using oral contraceptives is that additional risk factors, such as age, smoking, high blood pressure or diabetes expose women to the risk of having a stroke in a lifetime.
They warn that women who take even a low-estrogen birth control pill may be twice as likely to have a stroke as those who don’t; and the risk may increase if other risk factors are present.
Consultant gynaecologist, Dr. Mary Ogidan, counsels that women should be screened for high blood pressure before they are allowed to take birth control pills.
“This is because hypertension, also called high blood pressure, is a major risk factor for stroke. High blood pressure can damage arteries throughout the body. Weakened arteries in the brain put you at much higher risk for stroke, since a stroke occurs when a blood vessel to the brain is either blocked by a clot or bursts – depending on the type of stroke involved.
“That’s why a patient’s blood pressure is of the essence each time they visit the hospital,” Ogidan explains.
Pregnancy
In any culture or civilisation, being pregnant is usually joyful news, because a new baby would be born. But then, pregnancy also predisposes a woman to the possibility of strokes later in life, experts warn.
Scientists say stroke risk increases during a normal pregnancy due to the natural changes in the body such as increased blood pressure and stress on the heart.
Worse, physicians say, if you’re obese, younger than 20 or older than 40 years of age when pregnant; or if you are pregnant with more than one baby, or have diabetes, kidney disease, or rheumatoid arthritis, then your chances for preeclampsia are enormous.Ogidan adds, “Preeclampsia is a pregnancy complication characterised by high blood pressure and it typically starts after the 20th week of pregnancy. It doubles a woman’s risk of a stroke later in life. That’s why we urge pregnant women to be in regular touch with their doctors. It’s the least they can do to keep alive and also have a healthy baby.”
Hormone Replacement Therapy
For women, menopause is a new experience that needs plenty of adjusting to, as it usually happens midlife, bringing with it a lot changes that sometimes cause concern for the menopausal woman and her family.
PoliticsFederal Government Orders Bodies Of Four Nigerians Executed In Indonesia by D9ty7(op): 10:00pm On Apr 29, 2015
The Federal Government has condemned the execution of four Nigerians by Indonesian authorities over drug-related offences, despite pleas for clemency by President Goodluck Jonathan, describing it as a disappointment.
The government however extended its condolences to the families of the deceased, demanding the repatriation of the corpses of the executed persons for them to be given a decent burial in their various communities.

A terse statement on Wednesday night from the Public Communications Division of Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Abuja, gave the names of the executed Nigerians as Martin Anderson, Okwudili Oyatanze, Jaminu Abashin and Sylvester Obiekwe.

The government however warned all Nigerians to desist from drug trafficking and other offences, which attract maximum punishment in several countries of the world.
The statement read, “The Federal Government of Nigeria has received with deep disappointment, news of the execution of four Nigerians, Messrs Martin Anderson, Okwudili Oyatanze, Jaminu Abashin and Sylvester Obiekwe by the government of Indonesia for drug-related offences.

“These executions have taken place despite spirited pleas for clemency made at the highest level by President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, and more recently Ambassador Aminu Wali, Minister of Foreign Affairs, on April 21, 2015, during the 10th Anniversary of the New Asian-African Strategic Partnership Summit, which took place in Jakarta, Indonesia,

“The Federal Government wishes to express its condolences to the families of the deceased. It has asked the Indonesian Government for the repatriation of the remains of the executed persons, so that they can be accorded decent burial in their various communities.

“The Federal Government seizes this opportunity to once again, warn all Nigerians to desist from drug trafficking and other offences that attract maximum punishment in several countries of the world. The Federal Government will continue to promote the welfare and protect the lives of Nigerians abroad, no matter their circumstances.

“Furthermore, government is committed to engage the government of Indonesia and other friendly countries regarding the conclusion of Prisoner Transfer Agreements and other bilateral means of safeguarding the interest and welfare of Nigerians.”

The convicts were reportedly taken to the Nusakambangan Island where they were executed by firing squad on Tuesday evening.

Abashin was said to be homeless in Bangkok when a new “friend” offered him $400 to take some clothes to Indonesia.

He was nabbed in Surabaya with 5.5kilogrammes of heroin and sentenced to death in 1999.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Seeing Double At Bernabeu! by D9ty7(op):
Real Madrid fans thought that they were seeing double at the Santiago Bernabeu on Wednesday
as two of their players tried to take throw-ins at the same time. After the ball had gone out of play during the first half of the Blancos' Liga meeting with Almeria in
the Spanish capital, both Fabio Coentrao and James Rodriguez retrieved replacements from the
ball boys at the side of the pitch. The pair then tried to restart the game at the same time, much to the bemusement of Almeria's
players. Check out the strange image below ...

I'll leave you guys to do the task. I agree with your decision so far. It wil make the literature section better. Those that can't take corrections will avoid the correction thread and those that want to improve will use it.

writers do not take kindly to constructive criticism. is it now corrections they will gladly accept.

I hate to say that this thread is dead on arrival.

it's people's ego we are talking about here.
In response to your post. Madam, I stand to disagree with you.
Not everyone who write stories here are in the category; WRITERS. And for the records, writers accept criticisims, corrections and even the not so constructive ones. Great writers have a team of critics looking into their works.
The fact that some people on Nairaland hate to be criticized based on what they write doesn't make them a writer. I call them STORY TELLERS. And moreso, the thread didn't make it a must for writers to drop their stories. If you think you need someone to critic your work, drop the link. No one is forcing anybody.
You get my drift?

wah kind of love is dah?he should remember dat he is married and his xpctn his child soon.. oga dee yhu never answer my question ooo?did mark send tony to the airport? if no den how did he know kim was coming??
It wasn't stated that Mark sent Tony to pick Kim. Remember, Mark works with N.A.T.U and Tony works for FBI. Neither was it stated if the two knew each other.
You can re-read the update where Tony met Kim. He spoke to Kim first because he head her exclaim about the scorching sun. "welcome to Nigeria." was what he said. And since he was waiting for his driver to pick him up and Kim having nowhere to go, he decided to keep her company(trust men)
If Tony's driver was waiting at the time he came out of the airport, he would have gone his way. But they are in the same predicament, hence, their reason for going to the eatery together.
And moreso, Kim was coming out of the airport just as Tony was coming out too... Meaning, they are both returnees
