I have seen some factory unlock 3Gs on baseband 6.15.00!!!
It is all a mistake, All the user involve never knew it was factory unlocked, so they downloaded hactivated Custom Firmware while migrating from iOS 3.1.3 to 4.1
As you know, hactivated custom firmware requires ultrasnow, With poor knowledge about unlocking iPhone, they got the baseband flashed with 6.15.00 so as to use ultrasnow to unlock, a very terrible mistake

so my iphone is the same now as a locked one?
Any way out pls?

pls help. I use an iphone 3gs which was running on 4.2.1 with BB 05.16.02. (was jailbroken). Now ma broda went on to update it to os 4.3.5 and the baseband is stil same. But the problem now is dat i want to get it jailbroken. Although it works perfect with all network provider after the update, does dat mean its a factory unlocked type.
