Don't learn the hard way. Raise money for baby formula and feed your baby. Your baby is acutely malnourished. Increase the feeding rate and watch the baby grow well.

I hope your tubular batteries were equalized after the installation. That's always the first step before the usage because the batteries may have spent quite a longer time in storage.
After dropping from 4 bars to 3, it would take longer time to drop further to 2 bars with an average loads. If it doesn't, then you need to break down the lead sulfate on the plate through equalization charging.

Why are you all advising him based on bars. Please specify the voltages. If you meant it dropped from 13v to 12.4 - 12.3v on moderate load nothing is wrong with your batteries.

Please, is there a way to test for bad / fault battery in an inverter system? I noticed that my Eastman tubular battery bars in my inverter drops from 4 bars to 3 bars immediately it stops charging or when light is taken.
The batteries are less than a week old.
Also, is there a way to confirm the genuineness or authencity of batteries?
