Good evening House, why would same load consume different energy/power when using different brands of inverters?

I have a PSW inverter and a MSW inverter which I alternate. I discovered that the consumption of my battery using the PSW is more efficient. Initially, I thought it was the MSW inverter using up the excess energy but I was surprised when I measured the (output) energy usage while connecting the same load while using the modified sine wave inverter the energy used by the same LOAD (output) on the PSW. The energy used by the load while on the MSW is twice of the energy used when on the PSW.

My first lifepo4 was gotten in 2019. Battery is still kicking. Dunno if I'll get 3000 cycles, but the performance appear to be the same as in 2019. No regrets.

What could be the possible cause of flickering output for MSW or is that how they are generally?

Good morning gurus in the house,

I have six 250W solar panels connected in series/parallel to a PWM charge controller as shown in the top diagram.


I got an MPPT charge controller but I intend to have the six solar panels connected in series so as to maximize the output of the solar panels.

If the panels are same voltage, then I would suggest u stick to ur initial pwm settings for better optimization on the mppt controller

A BMS would completely shutdown in certain conditions, at other times they would keep working.

1. If the charging voltage is high and the cell voltage reaches the cut off voltage then, it will either shutdown or just cut off charging there by making the battery still available for use as only inverter. (i could be wrong, as i have less experience with DIY LITHIUM)

Thank you, I remember building this with your help.
It's a huge pack of 256 batteries, I was hoping the BMS would balance it is why I bought it.
I didn't balance the batteries before assembling then together..
Also the balancing wires are not soldered. I may have to unpack and solder the balancing wires.

Unpack all and run a group of 3 sets.
Charge each set full(balance), allow dem to rest for few weeks to check for voltage drop then connect dem as 3s. You will enjoy it well.
The challenge is how to get a charger that can do 4.2v.

I pity this guy. If I were his family I would have advised him to finish his time. It might even be a set up because He might end up getting more years if he loses the appeal which is likely to happen. He has just like 2 years plus to serve.

I believe both the peak and constant ratings should be clearly spelt out before payment was made. You can't let me commit myself to a contract then begin to explain its terms afterwards. That's why people trust brands like Binatone, Haier tec, etc, because they try to give something close to their ratings. Must everyone be an engineer?

Just glad they were able to resolve, and as for the OP, you need to learn to make research and also ask questions and make sure you fully understand before transacting. Avoid altering the terms of your agreement as it will in most cases create confusion and or loopholes in the execution of the agreement.
