Friend22: I think it is a favour I an extent, because he's bringing his level of expertise to Nigeria which we can say is not has high as we have around. He also has "multi-family real estate business" (meaning gigantic loans could be due collection). Guy is a hustler. Hustlers don't move back to Nigeria to do Nigeria a favour! |

You are not wearing his shoe and you don't know where it pinches him most so,It's advisable to face your own problems than worry about someone elses. That's exactly what I'm saying: It's because of where shoe pinches him. For whatever reason, relocating back to Nigeria is the best option FOR HIM, not because he's out to do Nigeria a big favour! |

Laird: 1) He came back to setup up a business that has high demand as Nigerians spend over 2 trillion naira yearly ( my estimate from data online ) on seeking Medical care abroad so an overseas based specialist coming here would be cheaper and even people from abroad can come here for cheaper services
2) Him and his wife and his children have American passports and can always return if things dont work out.
3) He didnt resign his job as a medical professor and Orthopaedic Surgeon in an A list US University, He took leave of absence
4) Orthopaedic Surgeons are in demand in the USA and are highly paid, so he wont have a problem getting his old job back or a new high paying Job back in the USA or Australia if he wants to go back
5) He has a property company already
6) His residence and medical practice would likely be in ikeja or Gbagada or Ilupeju or V.I or Ikoyi or Lekki or in Abuja where crime is not too high and security and social sercices and infrastructure are much better, and focus would be on high end Nigerian based clients and expatriates and people abroad from ghana, Uk, who want high quality medical orthopaedic specialist care in Nigeria and can afford to pay out of pocket
7) His US employer may even be an investor in his Nigerian Business through their endowment fund or charity or philantropic arm
@gerrard59 @IbeOkehie @RodgersAkpafu @Tensazangetsu20 @Pansophist @EgunMogaji FEGEITOK: He will make more money here than there. He will be taxed much less here. His background makes him a very easy sell. boxypane: It seems he was a practicing one. He also said he is CEO of a multi-family real estate company (read: loans, loans, and more loans). Adam Smith said it best below. It is one thing to establish a business or hospital in Nigeria. It is quite another to sell your house and everything and relocate to Nigeria with your family.

Charmingrascal: He has seen it all and he decided to pick what's best for him. I am not anti japa but I will still say it without fear. If I have enough money that would cover all my "japa expenses" I would stay back in Nigeria and invest the money. I am familiar with Nigeria and it will be easy for me to do so many things here than a foreign land.
Last year I had the opportunity to travel abroad I told the person to invest the money in a business for me here, since he is also doing well in Nigeria without traveling abroad to hustle, he refused to give me any money or even invest it for me in a business. I told him I wasn't interested in traveling, that I can't be slaving away in a foreign land, living in fear or foreign laws that are anti black (no matter how nice they paint it) plus leaving all the people I cherish behind was something I can't imagine. He kept his money and I thanked him for offering to help.
"I would rather be a Lion in the jungle than be a dog in the city" You should have taken up his offer since he was unwilling to give you the cash. You could always come back |

Because you couldn't prove nothing.
Repeating her accusations as fact how... When she is only requesting for transparency in the army's report or findings.
If she requests for the report it means she is daring the army?
Daft people calling people daft! I didn't say you are daft. I said you CAN'T be daft (example of "veiled"! ) She repeated they harassed her and meticulously mentioned their ranks and full names |

brain54: Stop beating around the bush...
And point out where the veiled dare is in her comments.
She said, “I want to say a big thank you to the Nigerian Army and its spokesperson, Maj. Gen. Onyema Nwachukwu. It is no longer news that I was discharged from the service on June 15, 2024".
"I humbly request that the Nigerian Army publish the outcome of the investigation that led to my discharge".
“On January 9, 2024, I came on social media to complain about how I was harassed by Colonel I.B. Abdulkareem, Colonel G.S. Ogor, and Brigadier General I.B. Soleb.”
“I beg the Nigerian Army to post the outcome of the investigation on its social media platforms so that the whole world will know what truly transpired and what led to my discharge. I will be very grateful if my request is considered.”
And she also said: I’m calling out the Minister of Women Affairs, Uju Kennedy. You’re not just a mother, you’re a woman everybody respects so much.”
“Please come out and say things as they are. Ma, you requested me to leave the job, and I submitted my handwritten voluntary resignation letter to you, which you gave to the Army, and requested that they release me to your office.”
You can't possibly be this daft. She's REPEATING her accusations as fact AFTER the Army already determined they are false - and "humbly" begging them to release the result. Here's what she wrote: On January 9, 2024, I came on social media to complain about how I was harassed by Colonel I.B. Abdulkareem, Colonel G.S. Ogor, and Brigadier General I.B. Soleb.”
“I beg the Nigerian Army to post the outcome of the investigation on its social media platforms so that the whole world will know what truly transpired and what led to my discharge. I will be very grateful if my request is considered.” |

Not like kidnappings and daily mass shootings don't occur in America. Kidnappings don't occur there. Ask Nigerian there, they'd tell you they feel 1000% safer there. I myself repeat, nobody comes back to Nigeria because they're trying to do Nigeria a favour! |
