I once said Pastor Kumuyi should change GCK (Global Crusade with Kumuyi) to GCD (Global Crusade with Deeper Life). This crusade is by the church and for the church and not a personal venture .

The crusade should not bear your name as this could create unnecessary bad blood among other leaders and ministers in the church! They may start to think all their labour and sacrifice is just for your self interest and not for God!

History is the best predictor of the future. I saw this coming and posted it months back and now your ministers are already grumbling about succession!

Pls separate your name from the church. Pls allow other pastors minister during the crusades. God bless you .

Pastor Kumuyi rebukes minister(s) asking for a successor!

In a recent message in which Pst Kumuyi was visibly unhappy, he claims he is still strong travelling the world doing God’s work. He also said it is God that names a successor and that Moses was above 100 before Joshua was named.
He also said he hopes they don’t feel he is forcing or imposing himself on them .

My thoughts:
- Dear Pastor Kumuyi,your ministers or congregation are not tired of you. They love u and appreciate how u have led them in the last 50 years.

- These ministers are saying these things out of love for you and the ministry! They see what is going on in Benson Idahosa’s church after his untimely d£ath, same for CCC after Oshoffa left prematurely and many other churches whose founders left without a known successor in mind. Many of these churches have become a shadow of themselves and the succession fights that often involved legal and sometimes diabolical means caused irreparable divisions in these churches.

- I would humbly advise that you should start delegating more! You have been the voice and face of the church for almost 5 decades. Many people don’t know there are other anointed spiritually loaded men of God in your church. These leaders would have had very global successful ministries if they left you but they remained loyal and stayed back. Allow these men to preach more, be seen more and also have the opportunity to use their God given talents to do His work more.

- Pst Tunde Bakare left you about 40 yrs ago partly because you were doing everything by yourself and he saw a vision which he told you about your voice waning with time(according to his autobiography). He left to have a very successful ministry! You have laboured hard and built an army of spiritual generals, keeping them happy is very key as u reach the twilight of your career to prevent a Coup in the church!

Peter was not afraid to rebuke Jesus out of love and Jesus didn’t feel too big to be rebuked. He gave room for his disciples to rebuke him. That’s the way it should be. Stop all this ‘ touch not my anointed’. Nobody is more anointed than Jesus , God the son.

I can’t understand how a man would be wearing boxers outside the bedroom. This guy needs a good management team around him. The problem many African pastors have is that people are afraid to correct them believing they are higher beings who are answerable only to God. This creates a great problem for the pastor who can easily get self conceited and lose it yet people will keep hailing. Pastors must be answerable to elders in the church and the congregation. That is the way to keep the system healthy!

Dear Jerry Eze, it is wrong to wear boxers to the gym! You are a pastor to millions. You need to respect your office and the people who see you as their spiritual father.

Pls learn from the brother beside you-that’s the appropriate way to dress to the gym!

Does Jerry Eze’s wife feel comfortable with her husband wearing boxers to the gym? Does she feel happy that he posts pictures of himself in boxers on social media? Is she comfortable with women seeing and assessing him in boxers at the gym and on line?

My observations:
1- David and Kemi both attended University in America and Kemi is well read even more than David with multiple post graduate degrees. She has a PhD.

2- They both have rich parents. Kemi is the daughter of a diplomat and had her secondary school in America while David is the son of one of the richest pastors in the world

3- David married a woman that completely complements him. He is a little bit shy and unassuming while his wife is slightly the opposite. David also complements her.

4-She encourages David to work out to burn all the fat and become more healthy and fit. She joins him to do the hardwork even though she is slim already! What a woman!

My thoughts
She is gorgeous even at 82, dresses well and a widowed woman of God. Men would definitely come and I suspect if she wasn’t African or she was living in the West she would have remarried.

Widowed women of God find it difficult to remarry in Nigeria because many of the congregation are usually still attached to the late male spouses(GOs) and getting another guy may be seen in bad taste by church members. This is very unfair, unbiblical and misogynistic!

2 …by law a married woman is bound to her husband as long as he is alive, but if her husband dies, she is released from the law that binds her to him.

RCCG pastor steals $8,000, abandons wife, remarries in US

A shocking revelation has emerged from the Redeemed Christian Church of God as Pastor Folu Adeboye, wife of the General Overseer, Pastor E.A. Adeboye, disclosed that a pastor of the church absconded with $8,000 meant for missions, abandoned his wife, and remarried in the United States.

Pastor Folu made this disclosure during her ministration at a men’s programme organised by the church, a video of which has since gone viral.

- When I critiqued Pst Ighodalo for officiating and joining a Christian lady with a non -Christian guy and said it was biblically wrong,many Christians insulted me calling me a kill joy and many unprintable names. I know we are quite emotional as a people BUT we must not allow our emotions blind us from proven truths and facts in the Bible(especially in the New Testament after Christ came).Be not unequally yoked with unbelievers (2Cor6:14)

- Marriage that is not up to 1 yr, Priscilla has turned back from Christ that she embraced for more than 20yrs . This shows a young woman captured by unhealthy insane love/infatuation and probably not in her right senses at the moment. I hope the man who is way older and more mature is not manipulating her in the marriage.

- I beckon on Pastor Ighodalo to try and get in touch with her because Jesus would require accountability from you. If it means leaving the proverbial 99 sheep at home and travelling over to Tanzania for her, pls do. This her action may be a harbinger of something unsavoury on the way.

Who is really advising Osimhen? One of the best strikers in the world going to Turkey(a retirement league for spent forces) at the expense of Man Utd (one of the most prestigious clubs in the world).

Delayed gratification is something our youths in Nigeria need to be taught from childhood.

Pastor Paul McKenzie was arrested in 2023 in Kenya on charges of terrorism,manslaughter and torture. The Leader of Good News International Church was arrested in 2023 after about 400 bodies were discovered in a forest. He allegedly encouraged followers to starve themselves in order to meet Jesus.

My thoughts:
- Pastors should Not abuse their hallowed positions to take advantage of the largely vulnerable congregation. Many people in church see their pastors as God in the flesh and would do anything for them.

- Christians must study their bibles and be like the Berean Christians who searched the scriptures to confirm what Paul taught(Acts 17:11)

- Mature Christians and pastors from other churches have a duty to the body of Christ and to God to call out and publicly rebuke erring men of God who are knowingly or unintentionally leading people to damnation. If Paul McKenzie had been publicly reprimanded by mature Christians in the area/country,about 400 people would have been saved.

Pastor Kumuyi(84) goes everywhere with his wife. Same for Pst Adeboye(83) and Pst Enenche(a medical doctor).

Pst Kumuyi and Pst Adeboye have been General overseers for 52yrs and 44yrs respectively without any scandal or any allegation of such! They are both handsome,well educated and eloquent men who ensured they protected themselves with the loving presence of their wives. They travelled the world ministering to millions with their better halves by their side.

Going around the world ministering with a female gospel minister without your wife is WRONG and not Christlike no matter who the Pastor is. We are all flesh and blood and not superhumans.

I am not saying Pastor Chris is not a child of God but I believe he made errors in that regard. I am sure he has also reflected and realised it. I also believe Sinach has also reflected and realised she made mistakes as well.

David(a man after God’s heart) fell but came back. We are all humans and can make mistakes. The reasons why God allows the mistakes of saints to be recorded in the Bible is for us to learn so we don’t repeat it.

Only God knows what happened between Pastor Chris and Sinach. He took her everywhere promoting her songs but when they fell out he came back discrediting her songs saying ‘ God is not a waymaker/miracle worker’ . Sinach has subsequently left Pastor Chris’ church and moved on with her life.

Some people alleged that Sinach’s closeness to Pastor Chris made the ex-wife uncomfortable which is understandable because she lived in the UK and alleged he wasn’t visiting them regularly!

My thoughts:
- Only God knows what truly happened however as men and women of God, we must avoid too much closeness to the opposite s€x. Pastor Chris ministering all over the world with a female gospel minister without his wife was wrong!

- Pastor Chris should not have come back to rubbish Sinach’s song after promoting it initially. No matter what angered him, he should have handled it better!

- Sinach needs to sincerely apologise to Pastor Anita. She allegedly caused her a lot of heart aches by travelling the world ministering with her ex husband while she craved for his presence in the UK.

- This was a big sacrifice by Pastor Kumuyi. Imagine a Mathematics lecturer in Unilag and General overseer of a church climbing motor bike to church because he sold his only car to print tracts! How many people at his level can do that

- He didn’t care about the shame,ridicule or abuse,he was ready to do anything for Jesus!

- I am not surprised God has rewarded him with good health,uncommon strength,prosperity and a great ministry.

- Pastor Kumuyi is human and hence not perfect BUT he remains a great father of faith who has laboured and given so much to the body of Christ worldwide.

Why are unbelievers and even some Christians in Nigeria unhappy that Pst Adeboye hasn’t publicly criticized the government and the President? Why are people on social media angry that Pst Adeboye is leading national prayers for Nigeria’s economic problems? Why are they trying to make him a scapegoat for the economic challenges of the country?

My thoughts:
- Is Pastor Adeboye, the only religious leader in Nigeria? Why is he being unfairly singled out?
- Idris Abdulkarim, a popular musician and muslim, criticised Pst Adeboye in his song, Emilokan, for his apparent silence but Never had the Liver to publicly criticise the Sultan of Sokoto and other top muslim leaders
- If Pst Adeboye stages a protest and starts criticising every move of the government , would anything really change? Does Tinubu look like someone that can be easily persuaded from his convictions? Someone that called the bluffs of a sitting president and publicly stated he installed him during the lead up to the elections.
- Have you noticed nobody calls out Jerry Eze, Apostle Selman or other younger men of God for not criticising the government . Is there an agenda by the media against Pst Adeboye?
- Many do not know that Tinubu used to invite Pastor Adeboye for yearly state prayers(Annual Lagos State thanksgiving service )between 1999 and 2005 when he was governor. He can easily correct and advise him privately! Moreso, Tinubu’s wife is his spiritual daughter(a pastor in his church) hence he can easily share his thoughts and criticisms with her!
- Finally, Jesus Christ (our perfect role model) never criticised Herod or Caesar even though the Israelites were under Roman control and domination. He kept quiet throughout the time John the Baptist was in prison. He solely faced His ministry and never got distracted .

Were Men and Women originally equal before they sinned? Was authority given to the man as punishment from God because the woman was first deceived by the serpent? Or could it be the woman had more authority? Was that why Satan targeted her?

The c¥rse God placed on Eve after she sinned gives us a clue.
Genesis 3:16
16 To the woman God said,
“I will make your pains in childbearing very severe;
with painful labor you will give birth to children.
YOUR DESIRE Will be For Your HUSBAND and He Will RULE Over you”

From the second part of the c¥rse, we can deduce that He wasnt ruling over her before they sinned. Her desire wasnt also for her husband which probably means she wasn’t sacrificing herself for her man.

Gen 1
27 So God created mankind in his own image,
in the image of God he created them;
male and female he created them.
28 God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground

When God created male and female in His own image, did you notice,no one was given authority. They were equal. However in Gen 2:18-23, God created a suitable helper in a woman for Adam.

Combining these two passages we can see there were other men and women apart from Adam and Eve. This is open to doctrinal debate and only God can actually give us the irrefutable answer. What is however evident is that based on the c¥rse from God, the roles of women in marriage changed with sin. Does everything(roles in marriage) then go back to status quo with salvation?
