I do not believe that it was God that asked Moses to do this. The God, Jesus presented to me and Christians worldwide will not place value based on gender. He is not sexist, chauvinistic or misogynistic. He is a loving father to all whether male or female!

Why did Lot offer his two daughters to be RAPED by a Mob who wanted the Angels in his house?

Gen 19: 5-8
5 They called to Lot, “Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us so that we can have sex with them.”

6 Lot went outside to meet them and shut the door behind him 7 and said, “No, my friends. Don’t do this wicked thing. 8 Look, I have two daughters who have never slept with a man. Let me bring them out to you, and you can do what you like with them. But don’t do anything to these men, for they have come under the protection of my roof.”

Lot messed up big time with this statement. He lost his wife and daughters with those words! Little wonder the wife preferred to stay back in Sodom than following him and she sadly became a pillar of Salt! It’s difficult to blame the wife’s action.

As a man and father, your primary God given assignment is to protect your kids! Lot failed in that area and the same daughters he offered for Rape eventually Raped him!

Why was King David not put to death after committing Adultery with Bathsheba and then killing the husband?

Leviticus 24:17 - And he that killeth any man shall surely be put to death.

King David committed Adultery and Murder both punishable by death.

Why did he not face the full wrath of the Mosaic Law?

1: Marrying a very beautiful woman or having a stunning partner is good but expect a lot of men eyeing her! She will constantly have men disturbing her and don’t be surprised if your friends and bosses have eyes for her!
Uriah would not have been killed by his boss David, if she was just a plain looking regular gal!

2: If you have a gorgeous partner, especially with an alluring body, please ensure she dresses modestly. David saw Bathsheba bathing and the allure of her body made him commit the murder of his loyal soldier!
Uriah should have told Bathsheba to always ensure her bathroom windows are always closed and to ensure that she bathes in a place nobody can see her!

3: If your job requires you to be away from home for months or years , please for your peace of mind , marry or date a regular girl ! A plain looking lady that will not catch everyone’s attention when she walks into a room! If Uriah was always at home, it’s very unlikely King David would have smashed his wife

4: Don’t trust friends or bosses with your stunning wife/ partner ! They can betray you!
King David wasted one of his most loyal soldiers in order to have the wife!

5: Give your partner overdose of affection, sex and attention ! Uriah was away for months on national duty, Bathsheba must have been sex starved! David made love to her after her menses when she was probably ovulating and very Hot! She may have been able to offer a stronger resistance if she wasn’t in that vulnerable position.

6: Build your shock absorber to expect anything: Having an extremely sweet partner should make you build your emotional strength. Her looks will attract the high and mighty ! Build yourself to prepare for the worst !
When Uriah had an inkling that David had probably smashed his wife, he was asked to go home twice and sleep with his wife but he refused! This ultimately led to his death! He could have taken the easier option , keep his wife, pretend as if nothing happened, although he would have ended up nurturing David’s son !

The bible didn’t really give a direct reason why she looked back at Sodom disobeying Gods command delivered to Lot through the 2 angels that visited.
But there are certain clues given in Gen 19, which may provide answers.

In Genesis 19:7-8
Lot says, “I beg you, my brothers, do not act so wickedly. Behold, I have two daughters who have not known man; let me bring them out to you, and do to them as you please; only do nothing to these men, for they have come under the shelter of my roof.

Two angels came in human form and visited Lot but the sodomites wanted to have them but instead of Lot to stand up to the mob he shockingly offered his only two virgin daughters to be RAPED, DEFLOWERED and abused by the mob !
Thank God the angels intervened and prevented such!
This action of Lot will break any woman and is enough

Imagine being so desperate for your own death that you give in to the demands to rip off your own breasts with your bare hands. Imagine watching your own children being murdered with swords right in front of you.

Yes, this is an allegorical warning against turning away from God. But, I have to wonder if it is representative of how female prostitutes and adulterers were actually treated.

However, the Twelve were a subset of Jesus’s disciples.
Luke explains that this larger group included many women. After a night of prayer, Jesus “called his disciples and chose from them twelve, whom he named apostles” (Luke 6:13).

Mary Magdalene:

Did God allow Rapists to marry their victims as long as the women are unmarried and the guys pay a fine?

Deuteronomy 22:28–29 — The New International Version (NIV)
28 If a man happens to meet a virgin who is not pledged to be married and rapes her and they are discovered,
29 he shall pay her father fifty shekels of silver. He must marry the young woman, for he has violated her. He can never divorce her as long as he lives.

This is another harsh and unfair law which I find difficult to believe was given by God to Moses! No matter the dispensation, women deserve better.

So as a young girl I can be raped by any beast and will also be forced to live with him in marriage forever so long he pays a fine!

This can’t be God but rather some Chauvinistic and misogynistic guys that decided to subjugate, dehumanise and denigrate women by using God as cover up!

The God , Jesus , presented to me with his messages and life style will not treat women like shit in this way! Jesus loved, respected and valued women! He alone is my role model and standard.

The shepherd of CCC International Headquarters, Ketu, Lagos, Olatosho Oshoffa , while defending his late father’s large family declared that no prophet in the Bible had one wife.

What does the Bible really say about Polygamy? Was it endorsed and permitted? Is it a sin? Is Pastor Oshoffa right?

In the Bible, we encounter several instances of polygamy—marriage to multiple spouses simultaneously.

Lamech: In Genesis 4:19, Lamech took two wives, Adah and Zillah.

Abraham had three wives, Sarah, Hagar and Keturah

Jacob had 4 wives: Leah, Rachel, and their handmaidens Bilhah and Zilpah

Moses: The great leader Moses also had two wives. Zipporah the midianite and the Cushite woman( Num 12:1)

Gideon: A champion of Israel, Gideon, had many wives.

Elkanah: Elkanah, the father of Samuel, was a godly man and had two wives.

David had 8 wives: Michal ,Ahinoam ,Abigail ,Maachah ,Haggith ,Abital ,Eglah and Bathsheba

King Solomon: Renowned for his wisdom, Solomon had an extensive harem of 700 wive and 300 concubines.

Despite these examples, it’s essential to recognize that God’s original design for marriage was monogamy (Genesis 2:22-24). However, as humanity’s story unfolds, polygamy becomes more prevalent.

The Mosaic Law accommodated this practice, allowing men to marry multiple wives, including captured prisoners from foreign conquests (Deuteronomy 21:1-17). It also permitted marrying a brother’s widow if he died without heirs (Deuteronomy 25:5-12).

Here are some Bible verses related to polygamy:

Exodus 21:10: If a man takes another wife, he must not diminish her food, clothing, or marital rights.

Deuteronomy 21:15-17: Guidelines for inheritance when a man has two wives and children from both.

2 Samuel 12:8: God gave King David his master’s wives.

Isaiah 4:1: A prophetic verse about seven women seeking to be called by one man’s name.

Judges 8:30: Gideon had many sons from his numerous wives.

2 Chronicles 11:21: King Rehoboam loved Maacah above all his wives and concubines.

2 Chronicles 13:21: Abijah, too, had multiple wives and many children.

The Cleric’s position is not far from the truth if we look at most of the great men and icons in the Bible however God’s ideal remains monogamous marriage, reflecting the complementary design of one man and one woman(Gen 2: 22-24)

Israelis who endorse the belief that Jesus is the Messiah or Christ are not considered Jews by the Chief Rabbinate of Israel nor by the Israeli government.

Christians need to understand that the Israelis (Jews) undermine the core and essence of Christianity - which is Christ! They are not your best friends as you think and do not believe in the accounts of the New Testament which is the backbone of Christianity!
