Prophetess Naomi - woman of God who gets revelations for others but could not foresee the death of 35 kids at her charity program! Why did she not see it? Did God stop speaking to her? She has been remanded in prison and allegedly charged for murder! Did God show her the stampede but she ignored it? Was it sin ? Would God hide such from His children? Is she a charlatan or fake prophet? Is this a test or punishment from God? Prophetess Naomi Silekunola, born in 1993 in Akure, Ondo State, Nigeria, was raised in a religious family. Her spiritual journey began at a young age, and she felt her calling to be a prophetess at the age of 9. She founded En-Herald Ministries, an interdenominational ministry based in Akure, and also established the Women in Need of Guidance and Support (WINGS) initiative to empower women. In 2018, she married the Ooni of Ife becoming the Queen of Ile-Ife. Despite her royal duties, she continued her ministry work, holding crusades and providing spiritual guidance. However, she announced her separation from the Ooni of Ife, in December 2021 citing personal reasons and a desire to focus more on her spiritual calling She is currently facing legal troubles. She has been remanded in Agodi prison. This follows a tragic stampede at a Christmas charity funfair organised by her in Ibadan,Nigeria which resulted in the deaths of 35 children. The court has charged her with conspiracy, negligent acts causing harm, and failure to provide adequate security and medical facilities.

‘We do December retreat when others are celebrating Christmas’ - Pastor Kumuyi! The apostles never celebrated Christmas, which means Christ didn’t encourage it. I hope we are not annoying God by celebrating the birth of Christ on a day with pagan roots!

Hi Uncle Daejumong, I am an unemployed 22yr old single parent who just gave my life to Christ. I got a lucrative offer to help a rich childless couple carry their baby! My Pastor thinks it’s a SIN! I really need the money!

Why God refused to heal my facial palsy- Apostle Arome Osayi ‘God not healing me because He wants to commit revelations and also to let me know I am just a man. I see it as a thorn in my flesh’ - Arome Osayi Would Jesus really say this? Would Jesus really deny His children a miracle? Could Arome be hallucinating and thinking it was God speaking? Matthew 7:7 “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. John 14:13-14: “And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. How Isaac Oyedepo prevented a succession fight by leaving his dad’s church to start his own ministry! Bishop Oyedepo has two sons who are both pastors, well educated and fervent in the things of God! They naturally looked forward to taking over from their dad! David Oyedepo Jr. is the first son of Bishop David Oyedepo, the founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide, also known as Winners Chapel. Born in June 1983, David Oyedepo Jr. has followed in his father’s footsteps and is a prominent pastor within the church. He was ordained as a pastor in May 2007 by Kenneth Copeland and has since taken on significant roles within the church. He currently serves as the Resident Pastor at the Living Faith Church headquarters in Canaanland, Ota, Nigeria. Isaac Oyedepo, the second son of Bishop David Oyedepo, was born on February 26, 19851. He officially started his own ministry, Isaac Oyedepo Evangelistic Ministries, on November 28, 202312. Before this, he served as a full-time pastor with Living Faith Church Worldwide for sixteen years, pastoring branches in the USA, South Africa, and Nigeria. Pastor Isaac’s idea of starting his own ministry was a very honourable and magnanimous decision! It prevented imminent brotherly fight and squabbles for the throne! His commendable decision has increased the love and respect his elder brother and parents have for him!

God did not allow Satan to Kill the children of Job to test his loyalty! This was the idea of the author who wrote the book and not God! The councils that edited the Bible between the 1st and 10th Century should have removed this part just as they did many others! Psalm 37:25: “I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.” Proverbs 10:27: “The fear of the Lord adds length to life, but the years of the wicked are cut short.” God is too faithful to fail! He will never entertain any foul play from Satan regarding His children. He will never make a bet with Satan over His children!

Is Jesus coming back in this Century/Millenium? Many leading Pastors appear not to believe in His imminent coming! Their lifestyles and messages doesn’t project Jesus’ imminent coming! They are sadly the most popular, loved, influential and idolised men of God! Why are these guys confident that the Rapture is far away? They cite the below verses claiming they were written 2000 yrs ago and yet Christ has not returned! “Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom. ” — Matthew 16:28 “Be ye also patient; establish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.” — James 5:8 “But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.” — 1 Peter 4:7 Even if Christ comes in a million years, xtians must remember that death can come anytime and after death is judgement! Jesus only must be our role model!

Pastor Adeboye invited Apostle Johnson Suleman to minister at the last RCCG Holy Ghost congress but ignored Pastor Abel Damina! Was this a mistake on the part of the octogenarian? Was it God that spoke to him or was it the unalloyed loyalty of Suleman that swayed baba off his feet? Could it be that Damina’s doctrinal differences made him to be overlooked! Some Christians believe Damina would have been a better guest speaker because of his extraordinary knowledge and exposition of the word while others feel Suleman was the right pick as he is equally well grounded in the word and more importantly has been an ardent vocal supporter of Pa Adeboye! These people feel it was more like a reward for all his hardwork! Suleman, who has had many controversies in the past relating to adultery allegations and miracle money/ questionable testimonies appeared to have become more spiritually mature and renewed after his recent close shave with death during a botched assassination attempt! This new state of Johnson might have informed Adeboye’s decision to invite him to speak at the congress. All in all, different doctrinal opinions in the church didn’t start today. Peter and Paul had their differences but they loved each other. Abel Damina might have different doctrinal views however his love for Christ is unquestionable and having people like him speak to millions of people at the congress would have been great.

Best Courses to Study in the University! Wise parents would guide their kids appropriately! You must be intentional especially if you are from developing countries in Africa and Asia! 1- Nursing Nurses are in high demand all over the world and are well remunerated! The Phillipines,Indians and Nepalese understand this fact and almost every family ensures they train a nurse who eventually migrates to Australia, UK, America or Canada or even the gulf countries and earn between 40k-200k USD per year! In Nigeria, u study Nursing for 3 yrs in a nursing school or 4-5 yrs in the University. Both degrees are acceptable! When u get ur degree, passing the foreign exams is very easy for Nigerian graduates as they are trained with the British/American Syllabus! 2- Radiography Nigerian trained radiographers don’t need to write any exam to practise in the UK . This is a 5 yr course and after finishing , u look for a job abroad and move! Australia is also partly recognising it. They earn between 50k - 150K USD per year 3- Medicine Nigerian trained doctors are making waves all over the world and we are one of the leading exporters to the west. Medicine takes 6 yrs and after internship you can easily write your foreign exams. Nigerian guys easily smash these exams because they are trained with the American/British syllabus. Doctors in the west earn between 100k-600K USD per year depending on level of specialisation. 4- Pharmacy 5 year course. Highly sought after all over the world. Pay in the west ranges from 50k-200k USD . After graduating, u write the foreign exams which are easy to smash! I encourage African parents to take a cue from the Phillipines, Indians,Cubans and Nepalese. All u need is one of your kids to do this and the whole family would be happy for life! We must help our kids make the right choices and decisions. They would be eternally grateful!

Falling under the anointing, being slain in the spirit are commonplace practices in Pentecostal churches! Where did they originate from? How did they creep into the church? Did Jesus and the apostles practise it? Is it demonic? Is it emotional sensationalism like what happened in late Michael Jackson’s shows? Christians and Pastors what do you think biblically and from experience?
|
‘Can a Christian wife abort an unwanted pregnancy? Is it a sin? We have 6 kids already and we don’t want anymore! We practise withdrawal method as we don’t believe in unnatural contraception.’
|
S£x in the dream! Is it demonic? Does a Christian need deliverance after experiencing it? Is it a sign of spiritual attack from spirit husbands/wives? Many churches believe it’s demonic while Science believes it’s not abnormal! What do you think as a Christian?

‘My church is being financed by Internet fr@udsters. Should I keep taking their huge donations or ask them to go away with their money.’ I am a full time pastor in Nigeria and I run a small church of about 30 people. I am in my forties with 5 kids and a great wife who is a petty trader. My church has been in existence for like 10 years and it is made largely of members who can barely eke out a livelihood. The church could barely survive financially but I believed in God’s calling and faithfulness. Few months back, two young friends joined my church . These guys paid tithes and offerings I have never seen in my life. They bought me my first car and helped me rent a new befitting apartment. They told me God led them to my church after they newly moved to that area.My wife and I believed God had finally answered us! After a while, I had a revelation about these guys and I confronted them and asked them what their jobs were. I told them God told me about them and they need not lie. They confessed to me they were into internet fr@ud but they never felt it was a bad job as they believe they were taking back what was taken from their ancestors! One of my spiritual fathers and mentors advised me to overlook their job and keep collecting their donations. He said they are spoils/wealth from the gentiles meant for children of God. Another one said I should continue to preach to them to change and reject all donations. He said if they don’t change I may need to report to the police. I am really confused on what to do? These guys have been a blessing to my life and the church. Advice needed from mature Christians and senior pastors!

David committed worse sins than Saul yet he was forgiven while Saul was rejected? Why were they treated differently? David’s Sins: Adultery and Murder: David committed adultery with Bathsheba and then arranged for her husband, Uriah, to be k#lled (2 Samuel 11) Census: David ordered a census of Israel, which was against God’s will, leading to a plague on the people (2 Samuel 24) Saul’s Sins: Unauthorized Sacrifice: Saul offered a burnt offering himself instead of waiting for Samuel (1 Samuel 13). Incomplete Obedience: Saul spared King Agag and the best livestock of the Amalekites, disobeying God’s command to destroy everything (1 Samuel 15) The sins of David were more heinous and cruel than those of Saul! Why was he rejected even when he tried seeking God through a dead Samuel? Why was David forgiven without losing his crown? Are there people with special grace and special love from God?

Divorce is not allowed. If you leave your man, u must remain single -Apostle Paul . Did he contradict the views of Christ? Are these from God or from Paul? Did he consider abuse and adultery in marriage? Was he a poor marriage counsellor? Should divorced pastors who remarry leave the pulpit? What should Baltasar’s pastor do? 1 Cor 7 10 To the married I give this command (not I, but the Lord): A wife must not separate from her husband. 11 But if she does, she must remain unmarried or else be reconciled to her husband. And a husband must not divorce his wife Paul said this is a revelation from the Lord! He said spouses MUST not divorce. He didn’t allow any reason for divorce. He appeared not to care if the marriage was life threatening and laden with unrepentant adultery! His opinion which he claimed was from God was different from Jesus’ message. Matt 19 8 Jesus replied, “Moses permitted you to divorce your wives because your hearts were hard. But it was not this way from the beginning. 9 I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another woman commits adultery.” Apostle Paul’s revelation appears different from the position of Christ. Jesus allowed Divorce on basis of adultery but Paul does not share such beliefs. He believes divorce is never an option. He claimed it was God that revealed it to him. Many Christians and top Pastors however divorce and remarry on many grounds apart from adultery and abuse! Are these guys into sin? Does the Bible divorce rules apply to the current church? What should Baltasar’s Pastor do?

Why Pastor Akindayomi handed over RCCG to Pastor Adeboye? Why he didn’t hand over to his kids? Why he overlooked older pastors and gave a fervent ,highly committed and well educated Adeboye? How that selfless decision has transformed RCCG from 40 parishes to 50,000 parishes world wide! What are the lessons for General overseers worldwide? Pastor Akindayomi founded RCCG in 1952 . He had no formal education and could barely read and write! He was however well anointed by God! Adeboye joined the church in 1973 at the age of 31. He was about finishing his PhD in Mathematics at the University of Lagos! He was well educated, tall, handsome and most importantly loved God with passion . He was made Akindayomi’s interpreter almost immediately and ordained a pastor two years after joining the church, in 1975, same year he got his PhD! Beyond his spiritual dedication and immense love for Christ, Akindayomi saw a man who could take RCCG to the next level! A man who had the education, physical attributes, charisma and finesse he lacked ! He knew that a man who had all these qualities in addition to loving Christ passionately would be unstoppable! He did not quickly ordain his kids as pastors and make them vice presidents or assistant overseers when he knew they were not ready yet. He thought of the greater good of the ministry rather than turning the church to a family business! He was selfless and visionary! The church he handed over to Adeboye in 1981 with 40 parishes now has 50,000 parishes globally! His biological kids are now playing major roles in the church with one of his daughters, a pastor in a parish in America. General overseers must understand that the church of God is not a family business. You don’t need to hand over to your kids/spouse especially when there are better hands that God is directing you to! I know it’s difficult, after working so hard to build a ministry, to now hand it on a platter of gold to an outsider however God’s will should always supersede our personal desires and wishes!

Was Judas predestined to betray Jesus? Was he born to do the job? Did he have a choice? Has the church been too hard on him? John 13:8 ‘I am not referring to all of you; I know those I have chosen. But this is to fulfill this passage of Scripture: ‘He who shared my bread has turned against me John 17:12 While I was with them, I protected them and kept them safe by that name you gave me. None has been lost except the one doomed to destruction so that Scripture would be fulfilled. Psalm 41:9 Even my close friend, someone I trusted, one who shared my bread, has turned against me.

Was Elijah selfish with his anointing? Was he reluctant to transfer anointing to Elisha? Was he hesitating and thinking of holding unto power even unto his ascension to the clouds? What can junior pastors serving general overseers learn from this? According to Bible scholars, Elisha served Elijah for 6 years! He was loyal and faithful to him. However when Elijah knew he was being taken away, he appeared not to be keen on transferring ‘ the anointing’ to his spiritual son, Elisha! 2 Kings 2 1 When the Lord was about to take Elijah up to heaven in a whirlwind, Elijah and Elisha were on their way from Gilgal. 2 Elijah said to Elisha, “Stay here; the Lord has sent me to Bethel.” But Elisha said, “As surely as the Lord lives and as you live, I will not leave you.” 4 Then Elijah said to him, “Stay here, Elisha; the Lord has sent me to Jericho.” And he replied, “As surely as the Lord lives and as you live, I will not leave you.” 6 Then Elijah said to him, “Stay here; the Lord has sent me to the Jordan.” And he replied, “As surely as the Lord lives and as you live, I will not leave you.” 9 When they had crossed, Elijah said to Elisha, “Tell me, what can I do for you before I am taken from you?” “Let me inherit a double portion of your spirit,” Elisha replied. 10 “You have asked a difficult thing,” Elijah said, “yet if you see me when I am taken from you, it will be yours—otherwise, it will not.” Elijah kept telling Elisha that God has sent him to different places knowing fully well he could be taken anytime and if not for the insistence of Elisha he would probably have missed the anointing. After he saw Elisha’s determination, he asked him what he wanted . When Elisha asked for a double portion, he said it was a difficult thing and that if he saw him ascend then he will receive it! Elijah could just have laid hands on Elisha and prayed for the transfer of the double anointing ! He need not stress his spiritual son who had served him for many years! Elijah is however human and just like many of us would like to cling to our God given talents and powers to death! If Elisha was Elijah’s biological son, he wouldn’t have gone through all the stress ! Young and Junior pastors must understand how difficult it is for powerful general overseers to hand over their ministries to people who are not their biological children or spouses when they are going! They are not holier than Elijah who also appeared to struggle to release his anointing! If you serve someone and he is not treating you well, nothing stops u from seeking God personally and start your own ministry!God is not the exclusive preserve of anyone!

Lessons from Nigeria’s 1-2 loss to Rwanda! Boniface is overrated and wasteful. His playing style not suited for African football We need Semi Ajayi back ! His synergy with Ekong and Bassey formed over the years which blossomed at the last AFCON must be maintained! 3-5-2 is our most effective formation! We are no longer a high scoring team because of shortage of very creative midfielders and wingers. We therefore need to prioritise having a strong solid defence. This helped at the last Afcon. No more s£xy football! Gabriel Osho is decent but must be allowed to adjust to African football! He is not ready yet for high tempo rugged African football! Nwakali and Gift Orban should be invited! We don’t have long range shooters and dead ball specialists in this team. Guys who can bail you out with moments of magic when u are chasing the game. I don’t care if Nwakali is playing in Division 4, he has skill sets no player in the team has! Same for Orban! Invite them ! Retain Eguavoen, he is a decent coach with great man management skills! He is also good technically! We were quite unlucky with those 2 quick goals by the Rwandans! I believe he can get the World Cup job done!

Is God punishing Baltasar’s Pastor ? Was his behaviour a failure on the part of the pastor and his church? Was the pastor spiritually insensitive? Should he be partly blamed for not helping him out of his s£x addiction? Did possible non chalance eventually lead to him losing his wife to the bad guy? Was it divine punishment? It baffles imagination to think that a guy so depraved goes to church regularly! What has the pastor been teaching them? Does he prioritise prosperity over holiness ? Does he turn a blind eye to members’ misdemeanours as long as they drop big offerings and tithes in church? Baltasar slept with hundreds of married women and recorded them including a pregnant woman! Was it divine punishment for the pastor, that made him lose his wife to the bad sheep he failed to shepherd? Was it a painful way for him to learn the hard way and redirect his steps so he doesn’t miss heaven? 2 Sam 12:8 ‘I anointed you king over Israel, and I delivered you from the hand of Saul. I gave your master's house to you, and your master's wives into your arms..

Is it time for Pastor Adeboye to retire and hand over the baton of leadership of RCCG to a younger Pastor? Some people feel he should continue until he goes to meet the Lord while others believe age is catching up with him which is affecting his judgement and talk! Those who believe he should hand over feel that he has made some gaffes in recent times which shows he may be having age related mild cognitive decline. This is very common among octogenarians and was what necessitated President Biden of America to step down from contesting the last election. According to these guys , they mentioned the below as some of his recent blips 1- My prayers with some of my church members prevented the free fall of the Naira and if not for it, $1=10,000Naira. 2- God brought Covid to show the world He is God and after He is done showing people, Covid would disappear 3- Anybody that says or tries rubbish with my wife would die and not wake up on the resurrection day! 4- God please give Israel victory over the Palestines. He later deleted the message following outrage from people that he didn’t care about Christians in Palestine! 5- Nigeria’s economic problems are spiritual! Every one knows corruption and poor policies are the root causes! Others have said Adeboye is a man of immense faith and trust in God! They believe God speaks to him as a favourite son and whatever he says is directly from the throne of Grace! They believe he can’t make mistakes! They believe he must continue as their leader until he breathes his last! I strongly believe Pastor Adeboye is a great man of God with immense faith and love for Jesus! He is however human and just like all of us can make mistakes, fall ill and also have some age related decline in his cognitive abilities. Do you think it’s time for him to hand over and have a deserved rest at 82yrs or he should keep soldiering on till he meets with Christ!
