Cuba achieved the high level of health care provision by training many doctors on the cheap. With students learning family medicine/General practice from day one.

They can man general practice almost immediately after graduation.

We need General practice. With lots of trained doctors having offices in every few streets. Paid for by government, Federal or State Health Service/Board.

Government/schools need to drastically improve training facilities, not lengthen the course.
