I'm a Christian and will always be. But to be realistic the arrival of foreign religion and it's misinterpretations had really separated we Africans. Jesus said he is the way the truth and life, that no one gets to the father except through Him. Now when u do good and u are found faultless through out your life I believe u'll make heaven. Are we saying our ancestors and fore-fathers who don't have an idea who Jesus or Muhammad is wud all b in hell by now? The key is just to be a good person, and I believe that is what Jesus meant. We take this religion thing just too far, GOD only want us to be morally perfect. |

How can u come out today to tell us we should drop zoning? Zoning is only natural it has to be put into consideration because of sense of belonging! It's done anywhere in the world just them don't even see it as zoning because they don't care about it. Tell me if all presidents of US are not from different zones! If you want us to do it like this then we should go back to the 60s when the South and North has their own parties.. pls next time u wanna talk endeavor to climp a ladder in order to look B4 u lip. |

Christianity Etc › Re: Exodus 20: Honor–summarizing The 10 Commandments by Dagrace01(m): 3:52pm On Aug 04, 2019 |
Love superceeds all. Though Jesus Christ said he hasn't come to eradicate the law but to fulfil it. The laws given by Moses were brutal, aside the 10 commandments, other popular law given by Moses was "an eye for an eye", but Jesus Christ neutralized that by saying "if anyone slaps u on the right cheek, turn the left towards that person to slap too". Jesus Christ came to summarize the old laws and make it simple to understand because people interpret and use it wrongly. There's no way I can love someone and still steal that person's property, or sleep with his wife or daughter. How can I cheat on my wife when I claim to love her. How will Fulani herdsmen, Boko Haram and other terrorist group kill anyone if there's love for their neghbor. The only reason I refuse to judge some extremists is because they were born with complicated laws either through misinterpretations or brainwashing. Once love is embraced, the world would be a better place, but it takes a whole lot of grace to be able to do the right thing.. #Love & #Grace |

Trolls will bombard this page now to discredit this guy just because he signed for Arsenal. A Chelsea friend of mine is already comparing him to Pulisic. Me don't know what to say Sha. EPL is a different ball game entirely, 22goals and 11assists in league1 isn't enough. The likes of Chamakh and Giroud and Gervinho were top scorers in Ligue1, and they didn't leave up to expectations. But not to forget Lacazette, Mahrez and Hazard who also came from Ligue1 and performed massively well. So I'm still looking at it Sha! Though as an Arsenal fan I'm hopeful cos 72million isn't easy to cough out, even if it is on instalments. #Coyg |

The current map of abia state ends on the imo river which flows directly into the Atlantic ocean barely 20kms away. Ikwerre people's territory are on the Abonema Wharf, and many more options. Know thy map, know thy history, stop taunting those who want to breakaway from Nigeria, it could become a self fulfilling prophecy for you.
And, Please don't tell me that you don't know that over 65 percent of the people residing in Lagos are not Yoruba people but all Nigerians, even people from other west african countries too. A break up of Nigeria will turn lagos state to a shadow of itself and those iGRs you're talking about would vanish. Why do you guys wish for this on yourselves? Or mockingly joke about this? Everyone's reading these threads and these taunts stand as proof of push for those on the fence about this issue.
The people clamoring for this are a majority tribe in the country and their screams of marginalisation is legit, they've never been allowed to rule the country, their zone is the only one with 5 states while every other zone has 6 even though there are large swats of Areas in the SS and MB with igbo and igboid people, the oil resources from the area is collected without recourse to the communities or the zone and is used to develop other regions. How easy can it be for us to be reasonable? for those of you who really claim to love nigeria and want it succeed. How about we stand a ground and say this is wrong? We can not claim to be one while a major tribe is being disrespected this badly.
With the large Population of people who are middle class or wealthy in the SE/SS and a huge diaspora, all he needs is less than 0.5% people from that region to give him a measly 10 dollars a month each and thats over a Billion Naira Monthly. That may not be enough money to wage war but it's enough to continue to bring negative press and other factors that's not enabling for any country and everyone suffers. He who holds a man down, has to stay down too, why cant we be reasonable?
Anyways as per headline, I didnt see a link or account number of the said charity to contribute, so how do they expect those who want to contribute to contribute? I like your analysis! I am sure that thousands of your kinsmen that were sent to their early graves during Awo's time were not humans.
Even Aboiola who started what he could not finish continued from where Awo stopped in ensuring that your kinsmen were led to their political Golgotha in 1993 at doodan barrack..
Then Tinibu continued from where Abiola stopped in sending you people to their creators due to his political stupidity. You must have a very short or suffering from Incurable diseasesese.
What of the calamity you are currently facing now due to your political phoolishnessss.?.. How many of your kinsmen are dying everyday because of herdsmen due to their self inflicted calamity ?.. I always read and create thread about what's happening in your land .. MOD does block some of my sensitive thread that could set country on fire due to what herdsmen are currently doing in your already herdsmen saturated land... You don't know how your people are currently dying.. I pity your future.
If I were you (God forbids), I would ask myself this question "Why is every Yoruba leader that emerge always attracts death and pains to his kinsmen" and finally have a disastrous ending ?
You made mention of Igbos coming to Lagos? Yes Igbos are traveling to many nations as well.. Those ones that are coming to Lagos are coming to turn you to Tenants and under bridge dwellers in your conquered land.. Lagos is becoming expensive for average afonja that's why majority of your brothers are under the bride for shelter.. (I hope you are not currently under the bride) Those civil war children in 60's have occupied represented you in the past in politics of Lagos.. Shame!
Talking of victims of civil war ? If you are not daft, you should know that casualties were from both sides.. Both Eastern region and Nigerian side had casualties.. Like I have always said.. Igbos will always be ahead of Yoruba in population whether you are too slow to learn or not.. I will attach the link again incase if you are having dyslexia.. The link is our current population, while I will attach the picture of our population and other ethnic groups before the war.
Afonja only found their voice in politics after 2015 election after staying decades as opposition that's why bird has started seeing itself as a butterfly, yet the national politics is not favouring them .. See how you are dying like chicken everyday which will result or has resulted to psychological trauma your parents are currently facing.
As regards to politics, Igbos have occupied all the political positions as ist timers in Nigeria starting from the number one citizen to the least before any afonja start dreaming of politics ..

Some clowns whose leaders have subjected to perpetual poverty using Nigerian common wealth to train their children and relatives abroad are here crying more than the braved.
Is it your money.. Focus on your current leaders who are sucking you dry on daily and kept you in this your present condition..
Nnamdi Kanu and IPOBS are not using Nigerian wealth.. Any issue concerning IPOBS wealth generation is based on voluntry service.. IPOBS are equal to the task .. No organization can function without finance.
God bless Nnamdi Kanu God bless IPOBS..
But come to think of it, Afonjas have their own Secessionist organisation, why is nobody discussing about them ? Why is it that northerners don't see them as threat like how they see IPOBS, which even made Hon Adamu to lament on the floor of the house by saying that IPOBS agitation is a source of worry to them ? Why is it that no northerner has made comments about Oduduwa agitation ? Are they seeing Oduduwa people as clowns/ jesters? .. Until an institution is accredited and registered over there, and recognised by Nuc here, students can't be mobilized just as it happens within Nigeria. Now about the quality of education, well! I can't speak for any other school, but the one I graduated from(ESSF)? You or any student in Nigeria can't withstand the level of knowledge we acquire there, Speaking of English language is another case entirely because we all learn it in the secondary school and if peradventure a Nigerian who is an o level holder can't articulate or write English then it's not Benin republic institutions that caused it, it's our secondary schools, as we all know we have thousands of mushroom unrecognized sec schs in Nigeria.
