Most decorated Nigeria player. Nigeria's real g.o.a.t.. Pappilo one dey I know say u go make us proud. The pride of African football. Contributing to thousands of life with his heart foundation. Arsenal's 13th greatest player of all time. Arsenal legend. The reaaaaaaal deal. |
Mikel Obi's partner of more than 10yrs is a Russian. A Bros of mine got married to a Russian pretty girl. Asking these questions will make them think less of us, what do we have to gain from asking them, they'll think they are special or something. Of course they like it when black d**k hits them. |
So Buhari called Twitter administrators and tell them to suspend her account abi? I was suspended 2years ago for using foul language in a post, but it was restored 2weekd later, so na Buhari do that one too. Every forum have their own terms and conditions which they tell u to read even B4 u complete ur reg... If una no shit well na Buhari, if una dey pudge na Buhari nawa oooo.. |
Awolowo and Zik were civilians. Gowon and Ojukwu were military men. Zik stabbed Awo's back by joining the Northern party, Ojukwu refused to listen to Awo, thinking Gowon will wage it against the west, his plans backfired, and the was waged against the South east.. Ojukwu had personal issues with Gowon his fellow military man, then he brainwashed his Igbo villagers that they were neva to be part of Nigeria, they don't know their history so they believed him, just as they believe anything Nnamdi Kanu says now, without using their own initiatives. Zik didn't support Ojukwu's idea, even Ifeajuna the real planner of the first coup didn't. Power would have been hijacked from the North if the East had seen any reason in one Nigeria, West and East against the north politically would have been a formidable force, The West had no issue with the East, and that's why they stay in any part of the West, run their business, live like they are indigene, bulid houses in this same West till today.. some of their children now even adopt Yoruba names. All this contradictions were neva the West's fault, they've always been embracing peace but East won't listen and later they blame the West for their travails. The origin of Nigeria's problem is the British, they shouldn't have joined us together in the first place.. But this isn't d first of it's kind in the world, we are suppose to be stronger together, it's only those those that are zenophobic and tribalistic in nature that can't unite with others. We've found ourselves in this situation already, na peace b d solution nothing else but peace. |
Dedetwo:You are a vagabond riff Raff for telling me to shut up.. If ur generation isn't educated enough to understand that what Ndidi said wasn't about schooling abroad then it's high time u guys start from the creche. He said there's no opportunity to go to school here which is a blatant lie. If he had said no job opportunities or something else then I won't disagree with him. Oponu oshi |
The issue with some Nigerians is that they are so lazy to dig up information themselves. As much as I may want to criticize Buhari, I won't be misled. G7 is an organization of world 7 strongest economy. Russia was suspended when they annexed Crimea. G7 choose to invite countries based on AU presidency and matters arising. If in 5 years we were invited twice, we shud know that's even more than enough recognition. Other countries will just be laughing as us when they see how we deliberate on this G7 issue. We should b more enlightened than this. That's how some ignoramus bombarded Twitter with Akin Adeshina for president because he snapped with world leaders at G7 summit. So Angelique Kidjo, singer in Benin republic who was at the summit too should go nd contest for president in her country abi? Akin Adeshina is the president of ADB and he went to the summit because of matters on Africa Development Bank (ADB) is part of the G7 agenda this year and he actually got some money for women empowerment initiative. It's high time we dig up things ourselves instead of waiting for some people with ulterior motives to come and mislead us. The same method this politians use during election, they come to tell us what we should have known. Naija eronu o |
HumanHairLovers:It was announced that he was going to Japan for a meeting of Africa relationship with Japan, and he was actually there with other African leaders. Make research on ur own, don't believe it when people come to social media to tell u things u can dig up urself. As much as I wanna criticize Buhari, I won't be so stupid enough to be misled. |
LegendHero:You're absolutely right. They hear what they chose to hear |
Henrywill247:Don't u understand? G7 is an organization of the 7 strongest economy in the world. And countries are invited based on AU presidents and matters arising.. its just as simple as that. |
APCHaram:. I hear u mention Oba of Lagos, pls don't affirm what u don't know about. Akiolu's family is one of royal families of Lagos, if an Oba dies the rulership automatically shifts to another royal family until the rotation goes round and come back to the family again. Akiolu is from the descendant of Akinshemoyin a once Oba of Lagos, and it was their turn to rule again after the demise of Oba Oyekan. Tinubu has no business dictating it, it has been like that from inception and it will continue like dat forever. I don't know about the other points u made ooo, but dis particular one? I'm damn sure cos I'm related to one of the royal families of Lagos, Onisiwo to be precise. |

Ndidi! Haba! U don't have the opportunity to go to school in Nigeria? Or u simply chose football over education. U guys shud watch how u taint our image outside Nigeria. If u want go school u go go school. Nigerians in diaspora keep giving outsiders bad name about us. If they don't go into fraud, they say wrong things about us. Nawa oooo |
Ctorch:Yes that's where we having a big problem now. The unity of Nigeria isn't about ethnicity again, we masses don't seem to understand. This country is divided between the rich, rich politicians (embezzlers), comfortable, and the poor. But the rich bring ethnicity propaganda because they need supporters in order to blind the poor from seeing the obvious. We are blinded by ethnicity while they are busy packing the money. |
[quote author=Ctorch post=81526251]Am not interested on who actually won or lose. In an election someone must lose and another must win. Though Tinubu may have lost because it wasn't conducted by Inec. Yorubas believe so much in unity and it has been our value from inception, and is why its vividly clear in number of of dialects that resides in Lagos, Ibadan, Abeokuta, Akure and other parts of the western region. World most powerful economy USA have thousands of people from different races to form a formidable country like America. You'll here British American, Indian American, Irish American, African American, Swedish American, Black American, Scottish American, Jewish American, Chinese American, this list is endless. Yorubas have strong believe in unity in diversity, they detest war and violence and that is why other tribes tag them 'weakling' or 'coward' so to say. We've found ourselves in this situation already, it's nobody's fault that the British amalgamated us, we've gotta develop together to be a strong nation. This is exactly what they predicted and wanted, they don't want our unity, so as to still be the ones calling shot for us.. China has different ethnic groups, but as one China they're now giving America a run for their money when it comes to the biggest economy in the world. That's my own view about ur question anyways, even if u don't buy it. #Peace I need an answer, maybe it will change my perception..of all issues. CanadaOrBust:If the old man isn't fit enough to do so then he can take a bow! If Obj had decided not to prostrate, no one will hold him responsible, it was his choice to obey tradition, which a good thing to do. Most Yoruba youths in Lagos today only take a slight bow to elderly people. We met these traditions like dis, so do our fore-fathers. Just as the Scottish male met wearing of skirts which they still do till today. Shaking of hands is a Western(european) tradition which had spanned to centuries, now we left our own ways of doing things for theirs, of which they won't ever drop theirs for anything in the world |
I don't care what their protest is about. Makinde just did two unbelievable things in my state of origin. Appointing a 27yrs old as commissioner and appointing someone who isn't his party member. Its not all about age or party, it's about who can get the job done. Sanwo olu too appointed a man in his 30s as commissioner, a welcome development too.. I'm officially number one fan of Makinde the same governor that gave 500k each to all students in law school in Oyo State. Ride on Makinde! Don't get compromised, do ur thing and the sky will be your beginning. |
CanadaOrBust:It's not about the young man's ancestors. It's about the Yoruba heritage. Yeah there are some tradition we should drop, but dis one isn't part of it. Respect, ethics and reverence are very core in sustaining our tradition. We can't just eradicate all our cultural heritage and identity because of the emergence of civilization. Chinese people won't drop any of their tradition for anything in the world, even India and Japan among others. But does that stop from advancing as a nation? Whites tell their dad "You're Crazy" "Bleep you dad" and the likes, should we adopt that too because we are advancing? There's nothing wrong in OBJ prostrating for a young monarch, tradition is tradition. |
Efewestern:Is there anything wrong in aspiring to the highest level as a politician. Tinubu has gone on 13yrs sabbatical from political office, isn't that a good sacrifice? PDP was in government in the federal level when Tinubu left office. Whatever still give him this relevance even if he hasn't held any political office in 13yrs is unique wisdom. He hasn't even come out to declare his ambition for 2023, it's people that are guessing it just the way theyve been predicting him. Is there any law that says any man shouldn't contest for political post whenever he wishes? The solution for those that don't want him as president is to not vote for him, u can't stop him from contesting. |
Teewhy2:And what are the Americans saying about Trump? |
Our tradition is so dear to us. No matter how big u are, u have to respect the title of a king, and this over centuries has proved that Yoruba's heritage will never be extinct. |
Amieinu123:ok o. But why do terrorist organizations like Isis, Al shabaab, Al queda, Boko Haram and the likes believe they're the one practicing the real Islam as laid down by prophet Muhammed. There must be a part of the Quran they're either following or misinterpreted |
Rubbiish:You're damn right. But at least the South would have one voice and will be able to stand their own ground against the northerners |
kattytamer:Our foreign affairs personals are also Nigerians na. It's either they don't know their job or they're not doing their job well. They are busy embezzling ni |
Amieinu123:Please can you enlighten me on the real meaning of Jihad? |
The story of Nigerians being murdered abroad is becoming unbearable. There must me something our foreign affairs ministry isn't doing right! Rip Ibukun |
Mtcheeew! What does all these ones know about depression? Just look at flimsy stories they told. Another way of getting fame and bouncing back to stardom. Only John Okafor's is real, it happened when he was nothing. If anyone kill him or herself because life wasn't as rosy as B4 then he's a quitter, none of this people knew hunger or lack people around them when they were depressed. The only thing I know that can trigger depression and suicide among celebrities is drug! Na my own I say ooo |
Nice one! But she can do this in a more advanced way. Probably get a fanciable truck, like a makeshift mobile kitchen. ![]() |
If this is true and channels T.V really confirmed it then Nigeria is on the move. We need to encourage people like this. In the past I've seen someone who turned cassava to petrol, where is he now? Innoson motors are out there we aren't patronizing tthem. Until when will we start realizing that economy and development as a nation can be self dependent. We now have lake rice in Lagos, for years there have been the Abakiliki rice, how about the popular Ofada rice? But Nigerians still prefer to eat the imported rice. Can't believe a large proportion of our Palm oils are still imported. We have good shoe makers here in Nigeria yet, we still crave for Italian shoes, we still crave for Gucci, Fendi, Versace and the likes. Any cloth Aba boys make are deem to be fake, people even discriminate those that wear them. We blame government for everything but if we the masses encourage this people from the grassroots we'll have a pathway to having a Nigeria of our dream. |
