erayo2GCA:It is so annoying when our leaders utter this nefarious statements. It's quite appalling to think a student learns how to articulate in English in the higher institution, when in the Constitution an o level holder can hold any official post in the Nigerian politics. I can boldly and proudly acclaim that I studied in Benin Republic and just a few of those that studied international relations in Nigeria can withstand me. Even the DG himself can't compete with me in the use of English language. Am not saying such things don't happen in Benin republic, just as it does happened in Nigeria too, all am saying is that the use of or writing of English language doesn't determine whether u are a graduate or not. Infact I know some good engineering graduates who can't speak or write much of English. And I've also heard some of our political leaders speaking bad English. I won't blame anybody for not being able to speak the language well because its not ours, what matters most is what we all have in our medula oblongata. He should rather have said those that didn't go through the four walls will be investigated, not that most Benin republic graduates can't write in English.. We that studied there are Nigerians just like those that were privileged to study in US, Canada, Nigeria and so on, he should withdraw that statement and apologize. |

Bella55555:So when pdp was in power it wasn't INEC too, it was PDPEC abi? |
They should leave him alone joor! Football decision is instinctive, how many seconds does he have to think and look up there? If the ball enter net we'll all jump up for joy.. That's why we come here to blame Buhari for having running stomach and jedijedi. |
Can I talk? This is apparently uncalled for and so annoying,. But something happened 3wks ago with me and I will never forget it till I die. A female student insulted me in the class while teaching to extent that a few of her classmates almost slapped her for doing so. I asked her to kneel down she said she can't, don't even have it in mind to cane her. Her stubbornness made me give her a few strokes on her leg and that made her kneel down(note; that's the first time I'll ever beat in the school). The following day, this girl came with her exasperated parents with a lot of marks on every part of her body ( GOD knows where those marks come from) accusing me of child abuse, they subsequently reported to the police and snapped her body. I was called for questioning an I had to tell the police that this Mark is staged I only flogged her on her leg. Nobody want hear that one o, I had to pay hospital bills which was handwriting #12,500 and police collect 10,000. What am I getting at? Some that girl could have inflicted more strokes on herself before she got home or her guardians could have done it just to have a case. Teachers it's better you leave the children to rotten, do your work on the board, explain and whoever will listen will listen. Don't let somebody disrupt your future. We have desperate students and parents out there who will do anything to have what they want. No longer "spare the rod and spoil a child" it's now "Use the rod and go to jail". It's no longer about the child again o, it's abt the emotions of the parents about their child, which we are all guilty of. Africa has been westernized, we no longer live in that era when our parents will add to the marks brought home from school, blaming us for disobedience. I rest my case. Waka jeje o |
Adeleke University is affiliated to the 7th day Adventist Church.. I believe a prospective student should have read about the school before attending it.. In this world of internet, Google would have at least helped to know this.. By agreeing to attend the school despite knowing that it's faith based is agreeing to abide by their rules. |
Blame Buhari for this too abi? You wanna rob, u no see money u rape person! Will that rape give u money? Useless people tainting d image of the country and blaming govt for every stupid thing they do.. |
argon500:let's make this clear ones and for all, the Tivs are from Benue state and not by any way related to Yoruba people, it was a Tiv man that defecated in the public.. secondly, Afonja is a warlord who betrayed the Yoruba tribe to Fulanis in the 18th century, so calling the Yorubas Afonja is a reflection of u and your cohorts stupidity.. Thirdly, if u are jealous of the prosperity of the Yoruba people, leave Lagos and go and hug transformer.. ignoramus |

Why do Nigerians reason like this? The Efcc has every right to seal a house in the course of investigation.. It happens every where in the world, why is it that whatever govt parastatals do in Nigeria is deemed to be bad by the people.. Do we really want this country to move forward? Nawa 4 una, u wail at everything. |
if u don't know the panegyrics of the Yoruba people, pls don't come here to address us as Afonja. Aare ona kankanfo Afonja was only the commander in chief of Yoruba army that hailed from Ilorin, who betrayed the Alaafin Aole of great Oyo empire, and eventually paid for it by losing his homeland and his life to Alimi the Fulani man he used against his own Yoruba people.. note Ilorin was faction under Oyo empire then and Afonja hails from Ilorin.. So for better undastanding, don't make d mistake of calling us Afonja again, u rather call us Oodua if u must take a dig at us here! And d funniest thing here is that omo Yoruba na a ma pe arare Ni Afonja Nibi bayi.. oga ooo, oo ti so le nu! |
i am posted to kogi state, nd its not listed above.. whatz going on ? |
U seem not to undastand politics, u talking politics u talking phd.. To be successful politician u to have indebt and inbuilt political charisma. i dont think ive ever seen a political maestro as Adolph Hitler who is an illiterate to the core, he only channeled his own political prowess to d wrong direction.. Anoda gud example is d structure of govt in Africa in d precolonial era(Abbysinia the old Ethopian empire, Songhai empire of Mali and Ghana, Kanem borno empire, Oyo empire, Zulu/natal kingdoms in SA etc), it was superb and massive, but most of our traditional rulers then dont have the so called western formal education, because Africa too has her own form of education then.. We cherish western education more than our own nature as Africans, and even do alota mistake judging our politicians with western education.. One of of the propounders of philosophy and western education Aristotle once said "Men are political animals" And this is because of how we all surge for powers, everyone wants to have power over the other, and in the process we develop our different ideologies for politics, some chose to follow capitalism, and others chose socialism or communism. Remember the cold war, it was a campaign of US and USSR's ideologies realism and idealism.. In a nutshell, i dont think we shud be complementing western education with politics, all men run their admistration the way they approach politics... In d case of Nigeria, most of our leaders approach politics in the embezzling way, they kill our country with wat i call embezzilism, i guess dat shud b added to the systems of govt there is, and its not their fault, its d kinda approach dat d whites brought during the slave trade era, they invaded Nigeria with bribery and corruption, by kick backing our traditional rulers with wines, mirrors and silly materials... Our rulers continued wit dat momentum, and dat led to wat we hav today.. So dont blame Buhari or his illiteracy to fuel scarcity or corruption Nigeria, every thing has been wrong from inception.. I hope i've spoken well.. |
just a night with Oge.. just one night.. |
how true is dis story? is dat ship really EU's? This story may also be anoda propaganda. If true, its so unfortunate because AU or Africans cant reciprocate, they are inferior to EU.. Anoda way i think we can actualize our law of reciprocity is to make our findings well and form and an alliance wit anoda devil America, they should aid d investigation and carry out action, but datz not possible cos dey are also cohorts, we are just weakened and subjected to dem.. But we can start like dis, sanction Lybia and sack dem from AU to begin wit, lets see d Western and American reaction.. Dont be surprised dat dis evil may have been going on since d era of Muamma Gadaffi, may be datz wat even led to his assasination by d so called West.. was just saying my own ni ooo.. |
come back home fellow Nigerian.. you have a very good credentials, Nigeria a changed nation, come back home to support and partake in ur civic responsibility to be part of dis change.
