Just like the mother has said, she hasn't given you a wife. So the best will be to tell her to leave & be giving her money for the child's upkeep. That lady is toxic. |

Family › Re: Autistic Child: Please Help by dahmie2013: 3:04pm On Aug 15, 2020 |
drnoel: That's a good question. In Nigeria and some parts of Africa the probability of even reaching such diagnosis is scarce and even if such a diagnosis is reached it's never on time. I know of several Nigerian families that their children were given similar diagnosis when the kids were well into their early teens. If I may throw ur question back to ur face, why then did their religion fail them? Ur comment and I quote "God created that child, him alone can cure him. God is the manufacturer and he has spare parts for everything he created", true as it maybe is very myopic and misleading.
Autism spectrum disorders does not have a cure, atleast not in the sense of that word. Pls I don't mean any disrespect, but U should educate urself more about an issue before u come to comment and show ur ignorance. Google really explains ASD very well, u should do well to research it.
Don't get me, I am also a believer but I don't believe blindly. I believe with reasons. Besides Bible says and I quote "In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead"- James 2; 17.
Pls lets be pragmatic with information and reasons. Bringing religion and God into this discussion will only complicate the topic. Let's keep it simple cos blind belief would not solve the issue. There are parents suffering cos of this and children who are not getting their needed therapy because of lack of information. Thank you again. If indeed you are a believer, then I am ashamed of you. The fact that your science has no cure to a disease, does not mean Jesus has no cure. I repeat, God created that child, him alone can cure him. God is the manufacturer and he has spare parts for everything he created. Deal with it!#BelieveThat |

drnoel: It's good Nigerians are religious but pls let's be pragmatic about this and discuss this issue without complicating it with religion. Thank you. Please tell me what solution your so called "pragmatism" has provided. Autism has been with us so long, yet ur "pragmatism" has not brought any solution. Op, your solution lies in Jesus. God created that child, him alone can cure him. God is the manufacturer and he has spare parts for everything he created. |

Family › Re: A.M Sex, Its Benefits, And Ways To Make It Happen by dahmie2013: 8:54pm On Jul 29, 2020 |
Sincerely, the only thing I have noticed about we Nigerian youths is our love for sex. We put so much importance to it & it is alarming. In other countries, their youths are thinking about how to find a cure to this virus, since it is affecting their economy. Our economy is crumbling & all we see most times here are topics on sex. Even this big brother, they asked them to raise challenges & all they could come up with is, give someone a 30sec kiss, pick someone & show your favourite sex position & so on. They couldn't even ask if you are a president @ a time like this, what actions will you take to cushion the effect of the pandemic on the economy.
I am not being hypocritical, I am not against sex, but it seems that is the only thing on our minds. We need a mind revolution. Let us discuss things that will broaden our minds and not all sex, sex. Sex is not food, it will not grow our economy or contribute towards nation building.
To be honest, I am afraid for this generation of youths. May God help us. |
